The wave predictor is horribly inaccurate. I came out of the Detroit River today in 1-3 if not 2-4’ waves. App showed the entire western end of Lake Erie at 0.5-0.9.
Great phone app
A very good app. The best phone based for lakes in our area. Would have five stars but contours are not super granular and tracking is not perfect. Works well enough for our needs.

Customer support
The product seems to be very good so far. However, customer support sucks. I have sent messages via the listed email address and the suggested Facebook page weeks ago and have not received a response.
Not intuitive
The app is useful, but settings etc are not intuitive. Also, lake depths are spotty at times.
Not Accurate for Local Lakes
I downloaded and purchased the USA charts hoping to get a good map of my local SD lakes. The chart for Pactola reservoir is so far off that it is more like a random guess. For starters, the max depth it shows is 15-20ft. The reservoir dips below 150ft with a lot of water over 80ft deep. I gave up on it after that so I can’t comment on the accuracy elsewhere.
Good maps, GPS is not good
I use this app for fishing more than for navigation, as I usually just fish inland lakes. The AI portion is helpful, the maps are pretty accurate. I have troubles with the GPS locator successfully finding where I am in relation to the maps when fishing. This is a big deal when you are trying to find specific locations on the chart in order to fish a certain structure or depth. The locations are off more than they are correct.

I previously downloaded a chart. The app updated and now won’t let me access my previously downloaded chart. Making be buy again. Not fair.
Works well, updates break purchases
Great app with one-time map purchases instead of subscriptions. However, updates seem to break those purchases. Was refunded for duplicates, but this needs to be sorted
Yes and no
Have had this app since last year. Purchased the premium version because it had many good features like follow me, potential hot spots. BUT after using sonar in various places ice fishing and in the boat, the depth charts are NOT ACCURATE. Although the contours ARE. I understand that lake levels change year to year but should not be off by 10-12 feet. That’s a world of difference when it comes to fishing. If the depth charts for northwestern Ontario Canada can be updated I would consider keeping this app. As well as a closer satellite view of Canada that doesn’t blur out
Difficult and confusing
Good, but way too difficult and confusing, some glitches

I’ve used it in two places, St Charles va for and Saco bay, me. It accurately reports depths, wind direction and tide. Amazing
"One time fee" = lie
App is great, but charging a one time fee multiple times is bs
Used for kayak fishing
I kayak fish offshore in california, a fish finder and such would be too expensuve and unnecessary on a kayak, this app did pretty good my last trip, no complaints. Only being able to download one map cell at a time isn't a big deal when you are only going a few miles on kayak, on a boat that would be annoying
Great app, till you get a new phone
I paid for the us maps on my old iPhone, worked wonderfully! However when I got new phone, it’s now telling me I need to buy the maps again? Not sure why it’s not linked to my apple account. Other than that it’s great

Great Research Tool
I have a Simrad on my boat, but this app allows me to use it on the water or from my living room. I just came back from a jetski trip where we found an awesome spot to stop and walk the waters edge. I pulled up the app and marked where we were. It’s a great app. I’d recommend it to anyone. Thanks Stephen
No memory of chart purchases
I have independently purchased marine charts for the US & Canada multiple times and it never remembers that I have bought them and constantly prompts me to buy them again and update. It just feels like you’re always using a free version or a trial. She because it’s a great app otherwise.
Its just ok
Wish it showed road beds and wish i could get rid of the trail.
Coves not mapped
The app appears to have a lot of information, but there are no depths for ANY of the coves. The coves are where I need to know the depths.
Meh
The coastal charts are useful and it’s good they’re pay once use forever rather than other apps based on subscriptions however the £10 tides fee is a ripoff. No tide heights or tables just tidal currents. This info is available online elsewhere but it’d be nice to have it compiled in this app and I stupidly assumed this is what I was handing money over for. Why wouldn’t the tides pack on with tide info (high tide and low tide height and times)????

Not accurate depths
Not giving accurate depths for ice fishing, says 70ft depth , drill hole , fish finder says 100ft , not happy ! Fishing for lake trout through ice , I need an accurate depth while walking on ice to find spot to set up, this app doesn’t come close to being accurate! Extremely frustrating!

Great app. Would be a five or better if u could drop pin. And maybe u can and I haven’t figured it out. So it may not be the app. Some of u smarter than I people can let me know. I will promptly give it a five.

Decent app but there are many free resources to provide the same information. At $25 it’s a rip off… I-Boating needs to re-evaluate their sales- I’d happily pay a couple dollars for a single state- how many people really need the entire US to go fishing?

Lakes
Would be nice if you could type the name of the lake that you want to look at
Mapping ?
The mapping for lakes on the Tennessee river has no depth shading and detailed contours . Other lakes very close have great detail and the colored shading feature is excellent. Not understanding why the Tennessee river chain does not have the same features. This is the very reason I bought the app . Not happy !

Ok but keeps asking to update even though I have the latest version. reload previous purchases does not show when charts have been bought Tide flow could be arrows on chart rather than a popup table

GPS IFFY
the location finder is iffy. Sitting on my couch no problem finding my house. On the lake it can be hundreds of yards off. Also does provide track like Na….did.

The mapping is fairly detailed. However the location is very unreliable. Kind of defeats the purpose of buying a map service.
