Sucks
This app decided to delete all my points randomly so I uninstalled and unsubscribed but it still charges me every year.

Great yo use and easy for a first time user.
App was great until some kind of change/glitch
I was 20 miles off shore when my location cursor kept disappearing so I had no clue where I was on the map and I kept having to close the app out and reopen it just to get the cursor to show for a little before disappearing again. I would rate it 5 stars but this issue is very frustrating when you highly depend on it on the water.
Synching deleted my waypoints
I syched so my Newley planned trip would have waypoints in the map. This deleted 3500 waypoints. They are in my bin. I have tried so many times to restore them but the application just crashes and I have been trying this for weeks. This application needs a major stability update.
Off water visual practice
The Lowrance app makes it easy to manage waypoints and study maps when I’m off the water. It helps me break down areas, plan routes, and get in some visual practice before tournaments. Syncing with my units is smooth, and it saves time once I’m actually on the lake. A few more editing tools would make it even better, but overall it’s a solid part of my tournament prep.
Is this a joke?
Between the frequent crashes, the utterly defective routing tool, the mystery of why boat ramps go unmarked, I can’t understand why anyone would endure this. Has anyone that wrote this actually tried to plan a route in it? Every time one selects a waypoint on a route, the app then skews the map away from the last waypoint. Was there an intra-company contest to design an app that was a user-hostile as possible? Do none of the vibe-coders ever boat when the fog rolls onto a lake and want to make their way back to the ramp? Maybe buy Claude a virtual fishing rod with some crypto and send him out in the offseason.
Depth Chart
Best depth mapping you’ll ever find, very useful for fishing, navigation, or just going out for a cruise on unknown waters!
Unreliable
When it works it’s fine but lately it has been crashing and unusable. When it does work it won’t show my present position so useless for navigating other than as an electronic map. Very frustrating.
Decent map
Weather data is never correct and app is a little clunky to operate. Other than that the shaded depth palette is good.

In none of the manuals or help documents does it mention the Lowrance app doesn’t recognize QR codes for Elite Ti models. Doing it manually doesn’t work either. Cannot add your plotter to the application making the app useless.

Good free version, that allows you to get by. Wish there was a one time life subscription for the full version. I would buy it, if it wasn’t monthly.
Buggy as heck
Maybe the latest iOS version but the app has been hanging up a lot. Reloaded a dozen and still problematic. Phone is getting hot too. Non of the other nav or fishing apps are having this problem c-Map app does not seem to have same issues yet almost the same app, go figure?
Decent
I am primarily an ice fisherman and I currently use both Garmin and Humminbird apps for mapping. The Humminbird VX maps are just head-and-shoulders more detailed than both Lowrance and Garmin. I had a few issues with this Lowrance mapping that were bothersome: 1) There is no way to adjust water level. If you travel to a lake and the guide says the lake is down 4 feet… or if you want to adjust for how much ice there is to just show how much water is underneath. I was just out at Devil’s Lake and it required a 7 foot offset to accurately show how much water was under the ice. 2) I set up a six color shading color scheme. 0-5 was red. It’s only showing red on the shorelines. There are many shallow areas on this lake and they are showing as white… which doesn’t make any sense. 3) I don’t feel like the depths are shown “often enough” on the map. Just random numbers splattered around. — In summary- keep working devs. It’s a good app, but it does need additional work to compete on the mapping front.
Easy to use
Very easy to use I placed my markers on my phone and then transfers to my sounder. I can plan my roots out while I’m laying on the couch. I love the shading so I can see all the contours.
Waste of time
Absolute waste of time. This app offers nothing you would expect or need for maritime navigation.

Looking good so far just hoping non subscription functionality is not too limiting. I have an old Lawrence device just not modern enough for this app it seems
Malfunctioning
I am running this app on an iPhone 16 Pro with plenty of memory free. This app randomly shuts down when trying to load the navigation map. Then the most frustrating thing is that the boat arrow icon (your location) kept disappearing. Tried to troubleshoot but to no avail. Other basic functionality and features were frustrating to use and not intuitive. I will be canceling before the end of the trial period.
Not stable. Frequent shutdowns
Update-I talked with Lowrance technical support. They were not overly helpful, but I did think about some sign in issues I have had. I have a Lowrance account set up under one of my email addresses and I also have signed into the app using Apple‘s sign in. when I deleted the app and signed in letting Apple sign me in I was able to use the app again. Possible other people’s issues might be related to sign in or account issues.. we will see if this continues to work. I use Lowrance graphs so I was very happy to see that they make a high-quality mobile app that can communicate with my finders. When it works it works great. But the last couple months there have been lots of glitches, the app closing right after opening or the app opening but not loading the map. I uninstalled and reinstalled and lost all my way points.. in this new market of continuous payment subscriptions I appreciate that Lowrance is still fairly reasonable on price, but you need to work on stability.

Keeps crashing
I’ve used the free version for several years and just signed up for the subscription yesterday. Now the app continuously crashed on both my iPhone and my iPad. I will 100% be cancelling before the free trial ends.

Water level adjustment gone
I have always loved this app, but you guys removed the ability to adjust water level? In our reservoirs that was the main reason I was paying. Without that ability this is a static useless map unless the lake level happens to match your static map. Terrible update! The old version allowed for this!

Unstable
Really like the app when it’s stable, but unfortunately that’s not often right now. Currently, it crashes every time I open it. Never have figured out how to sync with my Live units. So, I use it to look at lakes to plan out fishing trips.
Plagued with issues
This app consistently crashes, despite repeated attempts to delete and reinstall. Constant issues connecting to graphs, and syncing. Removed graphs, re-add and still have issues connecting and syncing. Color palettes and detail are great though

I was trying to update my Ghost trolling motor. I had some hesitation because I didn’t want to pay $15 to update my motor. The app says you get a free trial period. Well the app would not connect to my trolling motor and they lied about the free trial period. So I paid $15 for software that didn’t work. Not happy.
Great app for great gps
I’ve been using Lowrance products for years and this is a great addition.
Great in theory
Hard to use, glitches when trying to do basic nav functions, now I’ve lost most of the lake detail and satellite imaging since yesterday. I’m worried about losing many waypoints and trails if I delete and reinstall. Not ready for release if it works like this on other phones.
Instructions for use
This is not a review. Having trouble using the app. Where do I find instructions… been to the web site, as directed from here and find nothing. You have my apologies if it just because I’m an old man and got no idea of the tech. Got a Lowrance Hook 4+GPS on the boat and can’t find much for that either. Seems I’ve got to rate this to get it on board, doesn’t mean anything because I’ve got no idea how to use it yet.

Convenient to use
Nice charts but poor interface
Looks great but difficult to use, as though the designers aren’t boaters. Simple things that you do often, like finding distance between points or headings, are difficult. Routing works well if you can figure out how to do it. Crashes and hangs once or twice almost every time I use it. Great potential though, if they get it working better.

Buggy
The app has some amazing features. Now shaded relief does nothing. Satellite features aren’t working. Only about half of my waypoints transferred to the app on iPad. There’s great potential with this app if they will work out the bugs. For a paid app it should be updated more frequently.
Good but needs work
Good app overall but definitely needs more work. Satellite overlay for example you can enable but it just resets to off when you close the app, can’t find how to hide routes from map.
Best chart plotter and App
Lowrance is the easiest chartplotter to use with a large heads up display and paired with the Lowrance App makes planning a trip simple and safe

No disclosure of price; companies collect data prior to their willingness to disclose the price of the program. I believe that this may violate FTC standards.
Use to work, can’t log in anymore
App asks to open Lowrance.com to sign in but page never loads. Tried login with email and Apple is, both failed. Fix please and will change my rating
Not optimised for iPhone 15 Pro Max
Just installed and the graphics doesn’t wrap around the screen properly as such buttons and icons are impossible to press. Expected more considering I just paid $4000 for my chart plotter
Bug
When I open the app on my iPhone 13 it opens and then after about 3-5 seconds the screen goes white and I can’t do anything and I have not been able to find a fix.
