Love it
I’ve been using Argo for a few years now. Absolutely love it. I love the way you can customize the water depth curves along with other features. It allows you to very clearly see where safe water is. I also love you can use the app to pre plan routes etc.
Routes me through land
Would be helpful if it was actually showing a route you could take in a boat
Weedon Island
Great route
Could be a great app
This app works and is simple enough until your cruising down the lake at speed and they push an update. The app completely stops working if it is not updated.
Capt Don of Coors boat
Quick, easy, manageable, and convenient, 55 ft Sloop to paddle board. No muss no fuss, works for Me!
Captain Mike Jackson
Pretty awesome app and getting better every day! Great job Argo team!!
Keeps freezing
Can’t download map update and keeps freezing
First time with this app
Great just learning it.
DO NOT UPDATE - WILL LOSE AUTOTOUTE
Have used Argo occasionally for a couple of years -- just updated app and you LOSE autoroute feature without the subscription now. Very uncool not to grandfather in current users or offer new features to encourage subscription vs moving previously free features into the paid column.
Offline Maps soooo slow
Love the layout and functionality of this app but trying to download offline maps is painfully slow. I finally gave up after 10 minutes waiting trying to download a very small area. Definitely worth a look if but this issue needs to be resolved.
2 year veteran cruiser- GL
Love this app!! We cruise Lake Michigan, Ludington to Petoskey area. Great for trip planning on logging our travels. Highly recommend this!
“Coming Soon - NMEA Integration, AIS Traffic”. I’ve been WAITING … NO JOY YET! Cancelled!
For me, worthless without NMEA Integration AND AIS Traffic! The map contour needs work. Routing speed is fantastic and so too are other features! Lots of promise here, but you’ve got to bring NMEA & AIS to be useful, and competitive, for me. I’m rooting for you! CU “Soon”!

Still learning
Not good for lakes
Looking for navigation at Lake of the Ozarks. This app is missing a lot of data and the information was frequently out of date. Also to get basic navigation, you had to upgrade to the paid version.
Great routing
Awesome
“Tap” means Nothing
Frustrating. Sure seemed like a good app; enter start point, choose endpoint by tapping on the map. Tap. Tap. Tap x infinity. Delete app.
Bug
Settings/track colour settings and bam! Crash! iPhone 15 pro max iOS 18.0.1. Otherwise… it works most of the time. It’s a good start.
Light years behind Navionics.
Doesn’t support password managers (password field doesn’t trigger it) I went straight to Windward islands, and SE Asia and neither area is supported. In fact map is locked to North America so either you can’t move it or it shows no data. Advertised as free but at the top has CTA for wind and tide info. Routing feels janky. Holding at a spot marks the destination (similar to Navionics) but selecting departure, I can’t do the same. On the covered areas at least you get depth and markers.
I like it
Very easy to use
Now charging
Would it kill you to let the early adopters who promoted the app continue with free premium features? We were free advertisers
Easy to plan a route
Great using Argo it is easy to plan and track your routes.
Great Customer Service —> Great App!
I found this app 4 years ago when taking a trip to Cape Coral, FL. It was amazing, helpful, and very user-friendly. Used it consistently, any time on water, from then until this June. The company did an update that removed many labels and important specifics on their maps and I, a disappointed customer, shared my feedback. They listened! They fixed it! The maps are now user-friendly again and I have found a renewed love for this app. Thank you for taking my feedback to heart and caring enough about me (one person) to do something. ;) I’ll be a forever user of this app!
What happened?
Last year, I’d have given this app 5/5! Took out the boat yesterday and all this app did was give me a white screen. Even with rebooting my phone and updating the app, all I get is a white screen. Guess I’ll need to find a new app.
Great
Easy to use
I had really high hopes
I really wanted to get away from Garmin. They increased the price and messed up the Navionics app (which I used for many years). My hope was this app would be a good replacement, however . . . The first problem is the offline maps mode doesn’t let you select width, West & East. I don’t need as much North & South because we primarily travel along the inland coastal areas. Now the problem is when I go to save the offline map it reports the selected area is too large. I would hardly say 75-80 mile West to East offline map should be too large. The next problem is that it doesn’t allow to just track your route for the day, seeing the total miles (we run 100-150 miles a day) so this is very important. I’m going to give it another try next weekend, but so far I’m planning to cancel my subscription.
So far, so good
Just started using
Scammers
I subscribed with these guys last summer, they took the money and now the app ain’t functioning. It’s a blackout screen, that’s all I can see on their app. Contacted support with no reply. Take your money elsewhere unless you like watching it disappear.
Great secondary chart with autorouting made easy
Used for route planning, in the comfort of my home and cabin, on desktop or iPad. Then run for navigation as a backup to my Chartplotter
Useless in Canada
Paid the yearly subscription price to open up more info. No tide or wind info for the Pacific Northwest in Canada. Nearest tide and wind info is Point Roberts. Useless for me. A waste of $25.99. Cancelled my Subscription.
App
I had this app years ago and basically life took a different route than I planned. Built a new home on the Albemarle Sound. Seabee is back on the water with THE BEST BOATING APP EVER. User friendly and that is very important to a technological challenged old man 🙂.
