I LOVE THIS APP!!
If you just want a simple podcast player nothing else just to listen to podcasts dont worry about anything else this is the app for you its amazing I went out of my way to write this its amazing
No ipad App
Without an iPad app that this is being synced to, this app is useless.
Can’t download episodes
The app is nice but I don’t see a button to download episodes. Also the RSS feed doesn’t seem to be working
Problem since last update with refreshing episodes and opening podcasts
I like the app, the only problem is that since one of the last updates some subscribed podcasts don’t load new episodes and that some podcasts cannot be opened anymore. Can still not open selected podcasts with the new update.
Rough user experience
Fond of the time-based feed and ease of ‘subscription’ to pods, but performance is quite poor (many view do not load until app is restarted - this has become a major frustration) and UI is unintuitive (no clear indicators of if I’m searching for a pod or episodes within a pod, episode playback menu in an odd spot, etc)
Simple, functional, elegant!
I was looking to move away from Spotify and wanted a dedicated podcast app. Did a bunch of research in advance and decided to try this one out. It’s simple and easy to use, has all the functions I need, and the interface is visually appealing. I hate using a podcast player with massive graphics, ads, and clutter everywhere. This is NOT that. It’s elegant. What more can I say? Thanks for creating this!
Text Too Small
The text is too small too read and it’s not possible to increase it. The app does not honour iOS accessibility settings.
Good Start!
The UI of the app is wonderful. It’s easy to navigate and looks great. A couple suggestions I’d like make: 1) Have the cover art take up more space in the player (instead of the large text for the title of the podcast) 2) Include voice boost and trim silence like other podcast apps. But overall, a great start for the app!
Beautiful but unreliable
Playback spontaneously stops despite not having sleep mode on. When resuming playback it’s lost the place of where I was. This is a pain on long form (multi hour) content.
This app has promise, but do your research before subscribing
I subscribed to this app after seeing Marques Brownlee talk about it on YouTube. The app is free to download BUT the free version will not let you do a thorough evaluation. The subscription was approximately AUD15 so I subscribed. I set up the app on my iPad mini using my subscriptions list/file from Pocket Casts and all seemed fine. Now I needed to repeat the setup on my iPhone and iPad Air. I presumed all my settings and subscriptions would be available via iCloud sync. NO! Neuecast DOES NOT use iCloud. All devices need to be setup manually. This then causes another problem which will be ongoing. Podcasts played on and deleted from one device WILL NOT be deleted on other devices — you need to do that manually. This app cannot be recommended if you have more than one iOS device. I contacted the developer but there has been NO response. To make matters even worse; Apple will not refund the purchase even after a detailed explanation of the app’s shortcomings. BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU BUY
Good app
Very clean
Reconsider “mark all as played”
Love this app, breath of fresh air versus the other super bloated podcast apps. Still can’t get over how the “mark all as played” implementation irreversibly nukes any idea I could have of what I’ve listened to. Please make this undoable so that there’s not a killswitch looming over me on an otherwise beautiful experience. Wish there was an easy way to drop in app feedback
Almost There
I’m a big fan of this app and while it is very good, there’s a few things really getting in the way of it being completely usable. The default way of queuing a podcast still streams instead of downloading, but the playback is not reliable. So even with stable Internet, many times the next episode in your queue just flat out won’t play and there’s no way to get it to play, pausing and retry, etc. not sure what’s going on there but not something you want to have happen while driving and it happens frequently enough. If this app were to download or at least give the option to download everything in your queue, I think most of its major problems would be fixed. Quality of life things, would be nice to have the option to automatically add episodes of specific podcasts to either the top or bottom of the queue like how pocket casts does it.
Lovely, almost perfect
Stellar design, clean, functional. Almost perfect, still evolving some features. Highly recommend over the many bloated alternatives.
Love the interface
I’ve tried other pod catchers and found they’re so messy and hard to navigate. Neuecast is the first one to offer such a clean interface and intuitive control. Only thing lacking is being able to adjust start times to skip opening ads. Is this option available in the premium version?
Lacking essential feature
Lacking Mark all as played. Great app!
very, very good
This app puts a lot of attention to detail that most people would skip. Install this app because the people who made it care. It is my go to for podcasts.
Clean and simple
Need CarPlay ASAP to make this my primary podcast player!
Unnecessary
It’s a really nice app but if you already have Spotify installed you don’t need it
no gimmicks or ad-like recommendations, clean, simple podcast tool
I am so glad this podcast tool exists, and it’s easier to say what it’s not than what it is because that’s what makes it perfect for me! it’s not trying to advertise or curate anything for me, it just allows me to choose the podcasts I want to listen to and make my own feed, visuals are simple, clean lists with efficient use of visuals that don’t use half the screen real estate to force me to scroll around. This is perfect.
Beautiful app
Love the app only feature I really would love to see if notifications for new podcasts if this is available I can’t find it please and thank you !
Great
This is amazing
too much space
love the minimalism so much. i may be doing something wrong, but whenever i try to save an episode for later, be it bookmarking or queuing, it downloads every one, meaning i'm left with 16 GB on this single app. maybe i'm doing something wrong, but there are a few quality of life features that should come that wouldn't sacrifice the minimalism
Neuecast Podcast App
The podcast app I’ve always dreamed about. Simple, clean and user friendly.
Clean and simple. Needs CarPlay support.

Optimal
Well made app. I value simplicity and quality, and Neuecast delivers. All the podcasts with none of the ads, with premium options that aren’t needed but are still very affordable if you care for them while not being in your face about it. It’s not lacking anything I value in an app and certainly rids of anything else excessive. Thumbs up from me.
Great app
I love this podcast app. My only feedback would be video support for podcasts and an iPad app.
Perfect podcast app
The perfect minimalist podcast app. Simple, elegant, and fast. I love it.
Needs colour
If the UI used a little bit of color it would be easier to navigate in my opinion.
