Never any problems
My experience with the Coles App is very favourable. I have been getting home delivery for the past few years which has been wonderful. I mainly use the bought before section which allows me to select quickly and highlights those item which are on special. Delivery is always in the slot allocated and staff are friendly and helpful. I don’t know why other customers are unsatisfied, I never have an issue!!! I am entirely satisfied. Thanks
Order disappeared without reason
Coles deleted my order from system all of a sudden without explanation.
Location update - please fix
DEVELOPERS PLEASE HELP. I use a foreign sim with roaming enabled for years with no issues with the Coles app. With the latest update, to use the app, I have to use a VPN and connect to Australia, otherwise the app doesn’t work. To be clear, I am physically in Australia the whole time. The app doesn’t like my foreign sim. Using VPN slows everything down, and it’s annoying having to connect. Please can you fix this.
Updated app can’t add to lists
So your updated app I can’t add to my lists and there’s nowhere to give feedback about this!
Delay in receipt being available
I have opted for digital receipts in the app but they are not immediately available after the Shop for me to check. It is over an hour since I made my purchases today and I still can't see the receipt. Will have to go back to paper I think.
Love the list option
I am a pensioner so money is always tight. I can make a list of what I need, check the total cost then add to it for my extras. It has made my budget setting so much easier. I also make lists of ingredients for particular recipes then I never forget an item.

The app is terrible too confusing, using woolies app now

As a suggestion for the next update to include the Coles app on Apple CarPlay to enable users to select on my way and also arrived. When collecting online orders
Coles Barcode
Why hide the Coles Barcode? I need it available in one click. Preferably in my Wallet. And stop with the App updates. Too often I’m standing at the checkout and I need the App but have to wait for an update.
Really helpful but glitches becoming more common
I use this app every week for my shopping and it’s been great! But I’ve noticed in the last month-ish it’s started to get really glitchy. It doesn’t scroll smoothly anymore, when adding quantities- sometimes it will go way more or less than the amount of times I press the +. It used to tell me which aisle the foods are in and now it just separates into categories (which is still great, but I miss the aisle feature). Ive also noticed sometimes the app just doesn’t want to open. It sits on the Coles loading screen for ages. I’ve checked for updates but my app is all up to date. I still like the app and find it so helpful to do my shopping efficiently, but hoping they can fix the glitches that are starting to appear 😊
Needs another function
How about ability to sort food items used. Easier to find what you need? Otherwise….BRILLIANT!
Laggy
App is extremely slow and laggy since last update. Please fix asap, makes it unusable for shopping it even writing a list!

6 hour windows
A 6 hour window without updates for delivery is too long ! It’s kind of like a real estate making you wait an entire day for an inspection!! See how uber notify customers so they know exactly when their order arrives

Rapid delivery
Cannot select rapid delivery , it is a option at the beginning of shopping then says is no longer available every time for the past month customer service has no idea what I’m talking about. Is very frustrating
Some nice features marred by poor performance
I have an iPhone 17 Pro running the latest iOS and my wife is on a 14 Pro, both of which experience constant lag when trying to scroll (or update quantities), to the point it induces rage. There’s no way an App should perform so poorly on a flagship phone! Please fix this and I’ll happily add a couple more stars to this review.
Not always working
I use the app all the time to shop between different stores and it saves me so much time. The last week my shopping list will not load, sometimes it tells me that I don’t have internet, now that is plain wrong. As I write the my shopping list will not load. Get the so called wheel of death.
Misleading Pricing
Don’t honour sale prices from the app when you collect your order.

The most recent update with ‘bug fixes’ seems to have added more bugs. Almost unusable hope it is fixed soon.
Why discriminate in-store shopping
The rating is not fair as it’s not limited to the app. I just cannot understand why I can’t add items to a virtual basket/trolley so I know how much it will cost and what is on my shopping list. It insists I can only add to my trolley for deliveries or click & collect, not “Shop in Store”. The total on a list sort of works, but as I check off the list, the new total disregards those items so I can’t keep a running score.
Used to be good but …
I’ve used the Coles app for years, always for in-store shopping and found it to be really useful. But over the last year or two it has been getting so bloated and slow and the functionally is getting less useful for my needs. My major gripes are: no longer having aisle number - just the food group (eg. pantry); sponsored products prioritised in the search; refresh of estimated price total after every change; radio buttons so small I keep jumping into the product rather than selecting it; convoluted process to change store; often won’t find items unless spelt exactly right or using same terminology; sooooo many items specified as coles brand which makes alphabetical listing useless; page jumps in list when selecting/deselecting items; but my biggest complaint is that it is just too slow. I will admit my iphone is not a recent model but I recently factory reset it and all other apps work fine. I’m now looking for a generic shopping list app as a replacement.
Missing items from orders
Always check your orders when loading into car - I have had missing items and they make it impossible to raise the issue

Why does a search for “frozen veggies” come up with dog food? LOL
Dark Mode and Favourites
I’d love to see a dark mode to match my other apps. Also, I’d like a proper Favourites feature - similar to the Woolies app. And a way to reorder my lists (not the items within, the actual list of my lists. I have a few)
Lagging when updating quantity & check box
I agree with other users that this app used to be very good. I could add all my items to my shopping list and easily tick them off while I shopped in store, with aisle by aisle set out for me. Now, when I try to update quantities or tick the check box next to an item, the lag is so long, I could have shopped most of my list if I had it on old school paper by the time the app recognises what I’ve clicked. It’s been getting worse over the past two months. Please, Coles, fix this!
Ingredients differ
When I was checking the ingredients in the Cole’s app it was quite different from the actual ingredients on the actual food I was getting. I don’t eat egg and I saw that the box of 12 sugar doughnuts had no egg and was cheap so I thought I’ll go and buy it. When I got to the store and more than one store the label said it contained egg. I checked all the doughnuts I had picked including the sugar ones and the cinnamon ones and the packing, unlike the app said to have egg. I waisted my time.
Needs work
Took a minute to find the missing item option. I always get the 30 min imminent delivery sms AFTER the order is delivered
Won’t send a SMS code to authenticate
I’ve been trying to log onto my account for months but to no avail. The app states that a code has been sent but never happens. Totally useless!
It’s too busy marketing
When I open this app - I have one use for it. I want the bar code. I don’t care if Tim Tams are half price. I would like this thing to have an option. When I open it show me the bar code. Then have an option on the same screen . Show me receipts. Then another option that says - show me the rest.

I ordered from here and paid for all the things I wanted but they missed a few things and I paid in full if you just didn’t have the item you simply could’ve just said out of stock instead of just giving me nothing and still making me pay for it anyway

I keep trying to login to flybys but it says my password is wrong and when I forgot my password I wanted to change it but I can’t change it
Cumbersome App
SEO is clunky, you have to be very specific with what you’re looking for. Recent updates have made it so that the app signs you out frequently even though accounts use 2-factor authentication already
Good but with some annoying stuff
The app is really good for making lists that work with the store you shop in. The thing that drives me crazy is the list total - it really slows down the process of making a list because every time you tick off an item you don’t need it takes about half a minute to update the total. Please guys give us the option of turning it off!!
