Most useless and slow app
The most useless app ever. It is just so slow to navigate through it and find information that is needed.
Can’t log in
Can’t log in on the app or the website for my benefit plan. After I log in, the screen goes blank and nothing loads.
Not up to standard
Considering the amount of use this app probably gets as an insurance and benefits app, the quality is just not up to standard. So many errors and pages taking forever to load. And Canada Life asks for way more documentation than say Sunlife does. But then you try to upload the documentation or move through the pages and it’s errors or pages not loading or having to type in an immense amount of information. Like if you’re gonna ask us for this amount of documentation for every single claim, then at least make it easy and make it work.
Never works
God this app seriously sucks. Never loads no matter what.
App sucks!!
Such a slow app!! Keeps asking for fingerprints but never works the next time.. it takes half an hour to submit a single claim.. absolutely slow and trash app
Why bother with the app?
First, your website doesn’t work on a computer. Then your app doesn’t work, but for some reason, it works using Safari on your phone and nothing else. Then it says to complete a required step Simply login but it won’t let you. Genuinely a terrible app fire whoever is maintenance In your app and just delete it from stores to make a brand new one that can at least let you check a dam alert.
Upgrade causing issues
Since updating to 5.2.1 I cannot log into the app, I simply receieve a ‘we are having technical issues’ message. Very frustrating.

Very frustrating everytime I want to use app and submit a claim the app is never up and running . Always a technical issue .
Slow and unhelpful app
This app hosts almost nothing locally it seems and it takes for EVER to update information when loading the app. It also has me login via a web portal so it’s feels like an empty container app. Also zero way to see rejected claims and their history? This app sucks.
Frequently crashes
This app is garbage. It never works and frequently crashes.
Slow, Clunky, Bad
This app is no good. It takes a long time to load from page to page, and then includes a lot of steps when trying to file a claim. It almost feels like they make the claim process intentionally cumbersome. Will be recommending that my employer switches back to Sunlife or another carrier after current contract period.
Can’t sign in
Just downloaded this app as I thought it’s a better way to stay connected with my finances. Doesn’t let me sign in. Guess I’ll have to keep using a computer. Super frustrating!!
Whoever made the design should be commit seppuku and resign from the profession
I don’t often leave reviews but after having to make a few claims on this app I felt the need to scream it at the top of my lungs. This app sucks. I’ve used all the instance apps in canada. Desjardins … the best by far. This was clearly an app design to keep someone’s boss happy cuz it sucks and doesn’t consider the user at all. 15 min to submit a claim and 20 steps and buttons. Dude. Do a better job. But I gave it 2 stars cuz in the end yes you are able to submit your claims. Finally. 😆
Glitch
Haven’t been able to submit a claim, review my benefits, or do anything on the app In months. Needs a major bug fix/update.
Speed & Navigation
The app is difficult to navigate and moving from one screen to another is painfully slow.
Worst experience I’ve had with any benefits/savings provided
The common sign in between your savings and your benefits is absolutely terrible. It’s buggy, and I cannot sign into my savings plan. Money is being deducted every paycheck and put into this savings account which I cannot access. I’ve called their customer service twice but they are rude and hang up quickly when “changing passwords” doesn’t fix the problem. I hate that my employer uses this provider. I would give 0 stars if I could.
Mind-Numbingly Slow
Submitting a claim on this app has to be a humiliation ritual. It is excruciatingly slow, everything needs 3 seconds to load and sometime it simply refuses to load or just disappears. Now imagine you're submitting a claim every week or maybe every other week. You begin to dread the process of getting your money back because big insurance company couldn't care to make the claim process a pleasant experience. You get 2 stars because st least you can claim the app works but damn. Humiliating.
GRS access completely broken
Trying to login to my GRS access account, only to be met with ‘invalid username’ - it’s not invalid, I use it every time on the web browser and have absolutely zero issues, fix your absolute my atrocious system it’s an embarrassment
Impossible to login
It is impossible to login eve after uninstalling and reinstalling.
Can’t log in
Can’t log in since last upgrade. Error message says “it’s not you, it’s us”
