Best in Class
We’ve used Elevations CU for many of our banking needs and they’ve always been there and came through for us in Northern Colorado. We love our mortgage with them, as they’ve made it easy to pay it online. Thanks, Elevations!
Sux
The app is basically useless to me now, customer for a long time and very tech forward. The app stopped executing bill pay, I have to go to the laptop and log in. Many other basic tasks are not possible. So off the phone it goes..
Missing Face ID Enable
I don’t like how I have to log in with my password all the time when I want to view my whole account. Bring back Face ID enable.
Feels Incomplete
My first impression of this app was that the buttons are user friendly and it’s pretty easy to navigate! However, it’s incredibly irritating because I have to constantly delete and reinstall. The button to verify if you are human completely freezes and won’t let me into the app. And when I do get in, the slowness of the app is just as repellent, often needing to be reopened and signed into again. Overall it has potential but the functionality is just not there.

Mostly love the people. Chat “Scout” is a loser don’t waste your time with chat. I often have odd corrections with my account but feel credit unions are the way to go. More than once I have felt like changing to another but the reality of domino change is too daunting. The customer service usually super helpful & kind.

Terrible customer service, bad app
I was an Elevations member for 17 years, experienced too many problems to list here... Also they offer fewer services than a big bank and their app/online portal is an outdated joke. Good riddance
App not user-friendly
While I am ok with this credit union for the most part, the app is a joke. There are many glitches and it seems almost impossible to access things that should be right there on the front page such as your rewards. The app is difficult to navigate as it leads you through these loop-holes along with glitches. Thinking of switching my bank account just because of how irresponsible the app is.
Developers must develop - and ruin things
Sometimes just leaving things alone is best. But no. Developers feel the need to justify their role and monkey around with a good thing. Now the "new and improved" app for iPad only does profile view (no longer landscape) - a bust for people using keyboards. Months later still not addressed. And beware of anything trending towards Digital ID (soft rolling out). Unless you want to live entrapped like the Chinese.

Seems to be a problem lately
The app has just stopped loading the past few days or so. Just an endless white screen with the spinning wheel. Used to be a great app, easy to use and efficient, but now no amount of troubleshooting on my end seems to be helping.
2024.05 Update
Hey team - long time ECU customer here, first time reviewer. Latest 2024 May update, can’t reorder my 10 accounts nor does nicknaming get retained. QA/QC did not do its job here, please address asap w fix. Also excessive re-authentications vs other credit unions and banking apps. Thank you.
Use website instead
Not sure why you need this app when the website is much more useful. My big gripe is the search function is very primitive. For example , there is no obvious way to search for a range of dates. Bill Pay is also confusing. If you select Bill Pay from your checking account, you can only create a new payment, no history or pending payment info. But if you enter BillPay via the “more” option at the bottom of most screens, you do have the same tools as on the website. Why have different results when choosing Bill Pay from different entry points???? I only use this app for mobile deposits.

Not working??
This app is fine but for the last 3 days it’s just been endless loading, I’ve tried different WiFi I’ve tried restarting the app AND my phone and it’s STILL not working!! ELEVATIONS PLS FIX!!!!!!!!!!
Downgrade in Security
With the recent update, if biometric login is enabled, the account login screen can be bypassed with the phone password. Before the update, your banking password was required if biometric authentication failed. I want the convenience of biometric login but not if anyone with my phone password can gain access to my banking app. Please change this back to how it used to be.
It’s alright, a little confusing
The app redesign is pretty nice, but I’m not stoked about losing my widget for quick balance, not sure if there’s a new way to add it to my widgets? As for my accounts, I’m not really liking how I have to go through each of them to see the account numbers. I do wish that can be switched back, as I have multiple cards for a couple accounts and it’s annoying having to go into each one of them to make sure I’m withdrawing from the correct one. I think the overall experience with the app have improved as far as speed and design.
ECU’s dev team kicks a**
Big thank you to the people who were behind the major app renovation a couple years ago. Sometimes banking with a local credit union means sacrificing some modern day comforts, but ECU’s app update eliminated that compromise entirely. I feel like I’m banking in the 21st century while still banking with a local business that I trust. While there have been some quirks, it is overall so so much easier to do what I need to do with my accounts from my phone, and I feel confident that the team will continue to improve things every month. The latest improvement is what brought me here today: increased character count on the memo line for bank transfers! I don’t know if the team realizes how significant that is for my banking experience, but it is! Huge thank you! I imagine that a lot of “squeaky wheel” naysayers popped up during the initial phase of the major changes, so I want the team to know that I personally have been nothing but grateful and excited as each new improvement is rolled out. Keep up the good work!
Suddenly keeps asking for verification
Every time I go to log in now to simply check my balance it doesn’t remember my password and let me do Face ID like it used to - it pulls up a screen every time where I have to manually enter my password and user name and then wait for a text verification

Not a fan of the update. Had to renew all info, doesn’t play well with my internet. Fussy to do transfers where it used to be simple. Sigh
Struggling with app
Yep. They delete negative reviews and post fake reviews. Not sure what’s going on but I am starting to get concerned with my bank account.
Delete the app when backend breaks? Unacceptable response
Called to report failure on transfers screen in app (spinning wait indicator, persisting across reboots and app launches). Rather than check with internal team for backend problems showing on their internal dashboards, rep went right to 'delete the app, reboot your phone, and reinstall the app'. With the implication that there wouldn't be any bug report passed on. Shyeah, right, my password is 12 hours drive away in a safe; not workable to break TCM store unlocked w/ face/touch-id. Rep stonewalled when asked point blank if he'd report the problem anyway. Hey, Elevations Credit Union! Deleting your jank app won't help fix your bugs, especially when you have a back-end issue.

Cloudflare Security Widget not working
This app used to work fine, but now I can’t get in at all. Completely useless!

The app is great and the customer service is even better! They are quick, extremely kind, and helpful with any questions that you may have. They have no hidden fees and the best bank that I have ever been apart of. Join it!!! It’s amazing.
Latest update is horrible
App is painfully slow after the latest couple of updates- the loading screen just to see the snapshot page sometimes takes 1-2 minutes, and trying to get into any transfer or settings pages takes even longer. Edited 11/25: I am NOT enjoying the app, despite the bizarre developer response posted here. The lagging loading screen is a serious detriment- if I need to check my balance or make a quick transfer on short notice in the checkout line I’m totally out of luck because it takes 10 minutes to get anything to work. This needs to be a priority to correct, as the mobile website is pretty clunky and not an appropriate substitute.

New update - lots of bugs
The app errors out before I can even log in. If you select to submit feedback you get an “invalid” error screen. There is no way to submit for app support. Not great.
