The best credit union in the city
Unreliable
App is alright but it’s unavailable very often and could be so for days. EXTREMELY ANNOYING to the point where I would give it 0 stars if I could.
Simple app, but transactions lag
This is probably more function of the bank than the app itself because it happens both with the app and online, but pending transactions don’t show up right away, so your account will show you a higher pending balance than you actually have. I called their customer service center to ask about it and they said they do show up right away, but I found that simply not to be true. We migrated here from PNC after the FirstBank buyout. Bellco staff has been great to work with and this is really my only complaint about this organization so far.

Sometimes when I log on, I am unable to make payments on the mobile app. This usually resolves after three or four days.
Bellco online
I love bellco online banking. It’s easy to get things done when you need. Easy to transfer easy to deposit. It’s just been a huge help in keeping me organized.
First time use was a failure
Just switched to Bellco because PNC bought FirstBank and PNC failed miserably to keep our business. Now, the first time I go to use Bellco’s app to deposit a check, it just fails over and over and tells me to try again “in a moment”. No explanation of what might be wrong, just a generic failure message. Man, do I miss my old bank. So frustrating.

Observation
You can’t access messages unless there is a new one and once read you cannot go back. Also cannot verify owners on accounts. Another when my ex removed herself from accounts I never received any confirmation.

Nothing is straightforward
When Bellco came about, their founder asked a profound question, “How can we make this experience as unpleasant, frustrating, and unintuitive as possible to make our members confused if we even actually want them to pay their bills?” I’m proud to say that today, Bellco has ensured that your experience will be worse than you could possibly imagine. Which do you think Bellco made easier A.) Seemless and instant online transfer of funds from one bank to another. B.)Writing a check from your original bank to the deposit at Bellco. If you chose B you’re correct.
Too Basic
You can get the gist of what you need from the Bellco App, but there definitely needs to be more options available. Most financial institutions have a plethora of options customers can select from, but this App is limited. I will say, the Bellco App is easy to understand and navigate.

New Member with direct deposit joined at a great time while special is happening.! So far mobile banking has been a good experience.
Most obtuse banking app around
Bellco has never been at the forefront of technology. But wow, it’s like they make an effort to be as obtuse and unfriendly as possible in their electronic access and their hoops to do common things like send a wire. It takes days to send a wire. And international wires can only be sent in person, not from the app? Bad bad. So inconvenient. How about the SMS 2FA that takes 10 minutes to get to you, AND has two sentences of text before the code so you have to open the text itself and scroll? Yeesh.
Functional but could be improved
It’s an easy app to use. If you do have a problem, it’s always difficult to get through to customer service or a banker to help.
Slow
I wish that the transactions would update in the account fast otherwise I like it.

Been with them for 26 years and never had an issue, great institution, great staff, would recommend to everyone.
Icon
Why did my app icon disappear? Only way I can log in, is to go to the App Store and find it. The icon is gone off my phone?
Online banking
I really like how convenient the Bellco app is for me. I can check my bank account at all times. I wish some of the transactions would show up faster and some of the names are not showing complete.
Fast and convenient
I don’t have a bank account and I had been with Bellco as a joint account. I really like the service you receive and not some AI. I had a real person help with everything. Highly recommend Bellco. Especially for people not great at technology.
In operable/doesn’t work after 10 PM/9 PM
I have been stuck at a gas station and basically the middle of nowhere in the app always stops working pretty much at night time at the most crucial time. I’m trying to make a transfer and it’s just every other night it doesn’t work. I’m so sick of this app I’m about to switch banks
