The update makes me want a different bank
I have loved the app until the update and now it’s the worst. I can’t see my transactions I can’t transfer money. It’s so frustrating it makes me want to change banks and I have been with them since the 1990s

New update
Not a fan of the new AFCU app update. Not easy to see deposits. Needs to be color coded like it was before. And I don’t see a way to just look up deposits. It was much more user friendly before the update
Was great, but now…
I’ve been using AFCU Mobile for about a year and a half now. The app was so good, made everything very easy to use, and best of all was available where I spend my summers in rural Alaska. However, since the recent update, this is no longer the case. Contrast between colours is low, making it harder to read certain tabs, several tabs changed places, and now, I need cell service to be able to work the app. The problem with that is I do not have reliable cell service. This makes it so I have to log in everytime through Google, and have the codes sent to my phone each time. While yes, the app is still ok when in cell service, that is an ideal not everyone has access to.

New update sucks butt
Ever since the newest update it’s a 50/50 chance that the app even works. I haven’t been able to check my account or do any sort of transfers half of the time. The new layout is confusing and it reset all the nicknames I had for my savings accounts. Really considering switching banks to one that has a working app and website.
Latest update made it worse
The app took a step in the wrong direction. The app looks more polished but bill pay is worse. Instead of being integrated into the app it now opens in a web browser.
New updates stinks.
New update is really bad, serious downgrade from the original. Hopefully they fix it. Otherwise no complaints.
New update needs work
I used to love this app. There were clear ways to see the withdrawals and deposits in the list of transactions. There was a great spend analyzer with a graph charting spending habits. The new update is hard to follow, messy, unclear, and doesn’t have the same features as before. I might just need to spend more time familiarizing myself with it, but so far, this update is a downgrade.
Ugly New Look
The new look is ugly and more confusing. The old way was 100x better and actually looked more modern.
Horrible App Update
Can’t even access half of the things I could before. Most likely switching banks because of this update if I can’t access my own finances.
Changes made that weren’t needed
The new ap update is not user friendly anymore and in my opinion they broke something that didn’t need to be fixed. It’s not seamless like it used to be.
Text size
The text on the dashboard is so small. The app before never had trouble viewing. Now when I open the accounts I can’t see clearly the names or amounts. The functionality of the app is good but why shrink the account info? Can’t imagine everyone has good eyesight and yes even with my glasses it’s a problem. Hope this can be fixed.
new update stinks
can’t get anything to load, all my cards, loans, and savings accounts suddenly won’t appear and i’m so confused why it’s having so many bugs and issues. plus the interface is insanely complicated now and i’m Gen Z. i loved the old version of the app, and this new update makes me want to switch credit unions. fix this ASAP.

The app was so good and easy to use until they updated it, now I can't transfer money to other accounts. It will just constantly load and never finish. I don't understand why the change was needed but from what I hear everyone hates it including me
New update
The new update is really confusing . It’s already linked to my account , then why do I have to physically search for my account through the app to see my monthly spending ? Another issue is it stopped notifying me about purchases of point of sale . So now I have to occasionally check the app to see if a new charge occurred on my app . Please fix the issue
It was decent before
Somehow the update made everything worse. It looks outdated now. Less user friendly. Useful features were removed. It’s genuinely awful now.
Used to be better!
I would’ve given the app a 4 or 5 at review before this most recent update. I appreciated the self-calculating budgets, overall value history, and easy-to-use activity/transaction history. Now, I can’t even access activity history beyond the 5 most recent activities and if it is possible it’s practically a hidden feature. The value history of accounts is also gone.

The “upgrade” to the app made it worse. It feels like I am using a web browser in the app. It feels like a beta and a real better version is gonna come out. All the features and everything still work and it’s still good, but the old version just felt better.

Change it back where it’s color coded on money coming in and out, and also the titles for money should all be “automatic delosit” it’s so hard to track it
New update not good
Nothing works!! Sends you a security token without the tokens. Old layout was better functionally and aesthetically
Awful new design
This isn’t just mean being upset about change. Performance is actually worse and the layout is totally inefficient with space. Whoever designed this and implemented this both need to be fired because the failed on both.
