whatever update they pushed out broke the system. 4 day update for this? I already went to the bank to fix my account, and now it looks like I need to go again.
Great choice
I have been a member for over 30 years . Never had a problem with them until recently. Since august of 2024 I have had problems with fraudulent transactions. But other than that , they’re excellent in customer service 95 percent of the time .

The best credit union bank
Disappointing
I’ve been a member of this credit union for years and have generally been satisfied, but the recent update to the online banking site is a major disappointment. The new layout is confusing and doesn’t show any of my transactions, making it impossible to keep track of my finances. This update was supposed to make things easier, but it feels like a step backward. I hope this is just a temporary glitch, but if not, I’d strongly urge the credit union to reconsider this change. The previous system worked just fine, and I’d appreciate a return to something more user-friendly.

I re installed the app and it’s still telling me unable to validate credentials it worked fine yesterday it let me login but not today.. don’t know why it keeps doing this

Zelle feature missing in the new update?
I noticed the Zelle feature is missing in the new update. I’ve tried logging in the app and also mobile banking on my desktop but I cannot find Zelle. It is becoming very inconvenient. I downloaded the Zelle app but it keeps redirecting me to the American First Credit Union app. Also blocking all services during the maintenance is just unbelievable. Time to look for another financial institution!

I love the app it’s all good and all but apparently my Zelle doesn’t work and I can’t sign up for automatic payments for some strange reason but besides the point it’s a good bank to bank at

WHY
WHY DID EVERYTHING CHANGE?! IT WAS EASIER TO USE FACE ID TO GET INTO THE APP AND NOW I GOTTA GO THROUGH LOTS OF PAPERS JUST TO RE LOGIN AGAIN?! MY RENT WAS DUE LAST THURSDAY AND I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO PAY IT BECAUSE OF THIS "ERROR"
Enrollment issues
I have the mobile app but I can’t seem to enroll. It keeps saying Failed To Enroll User. So to check my account activity I just log in through SaveBetter over the web. Please fix
No Update
Hopefully someone sees this but it’s saying there’s an update on the app. Go to the App Store and there isn’t an update. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Please fix soon.

New and not happy
Just got a car loan with AFCU, and as I’m setting up my online banking info to prepare autopay options using my current bank, I discover that online only gives the option to make my car loan pmts with a bank account with AFCU. Ummmm, I don’t want to bank with you (not like that), thank you very much…but I do want to make my car pmts on time using my bank that I bank with. 🤦🏽♀️ Great, another financial institution forcing us to jump through hoops to utilize part of their service. 🙄

Schedule maintenance at the beginning of the month when all bills are due?? With NO access to anything? The app, before AND after update is awful. And Zelle is gone?! YA TRIED.. AND YA FAILED.

Love the new app
New update is awful
Zelle is no longer usable and the interface is a joke. Very unrepresentative and confusing with multiple accounts. It no longer places the checking and savings for each account next to each other. For some reason it places checking with the other checking and saving with savings.. transfers take multiple steps to make now. All of the past transactions have been deleted as well.

Ridiculous!!!!
First we don’t have access to our account for several days and now I can’t get into my account and the phone number to contact you guys keeps hanging up, meaning there is too many callers and you guys can’t get it together! Definitely going back to my old credit union. Your service is horrible and your fees are even worse.

Why would you schedule maintenance on the first of the month
It’s absolutely ridiculous that someone thought it was a good idea to BLOCK ALL ACCESS to account information from 10/31 through 11/4. The first of November is when most bills are due and not everyone keeps all their money in one account. Whoever made that decision should be fired for stupidity. I’ve worked in finance and tech companies for years and even with massive project refactors, we’ve never had to block our customer’s access - ESPECIALLY TO THEIR MONEY - for days, let alone even hours. I’ve banked here well over a decade and I’ll be pulling every penny out this month and switching to a bank. Also, the fact that the accounts page in the mobile app doesn’t show the balance of all accounts is absolutely a missed feature.

I do not advise anyone to deal with this bank because it defrauds customers. I paid him the amount due, but he is still chasing me. I do not advise anyone to deal with them. I have tried them. I used to deal with them, but very bad. Poor services. Bad treatment. The amount is always increasing.
