Mobile deposit never works.

It's good, but like, the "Remember Me" feature isn't gonna work if you reload the in-app browser cache every time you open the app...
Good… until it suddenly fails
I loved the app, it updated really quickly and regularly, it made banking easier, until it suddenly signed me out and made it impossible to sign back in. I am really disappointed with this, the only reason it isn’t one star is because it is amazing when functioning.

Mobile Deposit never works
Doing a check by mobile deposit has become industry standard. This bank along with others, closes their brick n motor stores. And their mobile deposit always seems to be down for scheduled maintenance at all hours of the day.

Good, but it would be nice to see budgeting. Maybe income and spending tends. Now that AI is basically free. We should be able to integrate AI into our banking.
Not Accurate Balance - careful
I have noticed when I spend money my balance will take days and days to refresh and accurate balance . This makes it very difficult to tell exactly how much money you have in your account . Also lots of declined transactions . Very annoying . Other than that they are good

I am a older member in age but when I ask if I could use their locked up restroom they say it out of order knowing it’s not so I have to leave before I get my business done

Best bank ever, app needs a huge update/updates
I really want to switch my banking from SoFi back to GWCU, but no other app compares. If the tech department can make the app a better experience, I would absolutely transition all of my banking back. I want to easily delete/edit my external accounts, add separate buckets for savings accounts (example: Honeymoon specific bucket within my savings account, give options to edit the goal amount, etc), among other updates.
Needs Dark Mode Support
Great app, does everything I need a mobile banking app to do. Please, please, please add a dark mode to the app.

Edit: I do not like this update that we’ve had the last couple of years. The other version was much better. Love this app! It is so very convenient I can use it on my phone (and I OFTEN do!) as well as my iPad. It is easy to use and I can move money around my account very easily with it, pay bills, you name it. Love it!

Switched over from WF - one of the best decisions I’ve ever done! Great location, great rates, and even great staff! Very knowledgeable & helpful, better yet, down-to-Earth personalities whose sole goal is to help you & meet your needs/goals. Every bank wants to make money to be honest, this credit union makes it personal- making you feel that they’re making you money! Love these guys!

The numbers update quick, and everything is handled with care and attention.
Convenient… most of the time
When this app works- it’s great. But when it doesn’t work- it makes me want to switch to freaking Wells Fargo bc at least then the app won’t freeze every time I schedule a bank transfer or take a pic of a check. It does this glitch where the whole calendar doesnt pull up. Banking apps don’t need to be fancy but this one is very basic, and I’d say things work 70% of the time. But that 30 percent makes me want to start paying $5 fees at a big bank lol.

Some updates better. Some changes for the worst.
I’ve been using this app for quite a few years now. Overall, I have seen some improvements in functionality. Recently, however I find the updates often make the app less useful. For example, it is no longer possible to edit the dollar amount or the payment date for a scheduled payment using Bill Pay. If you want to do that, you have to go through the Goldenwest website, which is a huge hassle. Also, I noticed with the latest update that now the app isn’t even listed in my app library although it does show up on my phones main screen. For the last year or two, I have not been getting alerts until and unless I open the app, at which point I don’t need the alert anymore. When I finally do get the alert, once I’m already in the app, the message is truncated on my phone screen where there’s plenty of real estate, but I can read the entire alert on my watch for some reason. That makes no sense. It is nice to be able to download statements from the phone app, but why can’t I manage my CDs from the Phone app the way I can with my other credit union? Overall, it’s a decent app, but it seems like every update takes away more functionality than it adds.
