COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING!!
A notification told me I couldn’t use the app until I update it… as soon as I updated it every time I open the app I’m stuck on a loading screen and cannot get into my account. This has caused payment issues for me and many features are not available on the website… PLEASE fix this.
Banking app issues but support is amazing
The banking app can be kind of poor in the sense that some transactions are delayed a couple days from showing on my app or sometimes they disappear and reappear but their customer service is amazing, on a Holiday where the bank and chat was closed someone was still able to help me and fix my issue on a banking holiday.

I love the app! Great for using and stuff but the problem that keeps happening is my gas station purchases don’t show till two or three days later

I’m getting a message that I need to update the app. I can’t. It just goes in a circle, telling me to update and then taking me back to the app saying I need to update. What’s the use in this app if I can’t use it? I’m so frustrated!!!!
Staff vs bill pay program
Staff are consistently friendly and capable! Bill Pay : I use this to pay all my bills. Both repeat bills and one-off bills. I love the ease of paying my bills this way . HOWEVER: little did I know that there is not a “digital “ check or footprint to easily access when one needs to verify payment !! So when the IRS wants verification …. Good luck ! You have to send your entire months transaction page. I think if you pay a bill with BILL PAY there should be a way to get a copy of sent/paid bill with vendors name and date!!! It’s all great until you have to verify payment.
App is primitive
Customer service is great, and having local people help you is nice. My biggest complaint is that you cannot set up auto pay for your credit card. You cannot set it up to pay a set amount each month, but you cannot set it up to pay off the previous balance to avoid interest. This is a huge con, so now I have to manually pay the bill each month. Please add this feature.
Regressing
They took away biometrics (like face recognition) to login for some reason? And you can’t pay anything with an external debit/credit card, which can be problematic. They do respond to messages in a timely manner, which is nice…but there have been multiple outages over the last year as well.

Worst app I’ve ever used.
It told me I needed to update but my iOS isn’t current enough so now I’m locked out of my account and I can’t download an older version. This is outrageous and unacceptable. Total garbage!!
ATM
Invest in ATM devices that allow patrons to make a cash deposit after hours !! My goodness ?!!?! Every other competitor allows such but you guys whack us with UN- necessary NSF courtesy fees !!!

Pretty stoked about Utah First in general. They are slow to release funds on personal deposited checks and they also don’t let Venmo deposit to you account, but Venmo can pay out of the account. Change this stuff and y’all would be 5 stars.

Good app but can be annoying not accepting checks because somehow it can’t detect the signature.

We recently opened an account at another credit union because the mobile banking app there is MUCH better.

Great app, just missing a couple things
I love this banking experience. It’s clean and easy to navigate. It is missing a couple (imo) key features I’ve had with other banks. 1 - Zelle; this person to person payment service is almost becoming standard with banking and the user experience. When my banker said “you could bill pay them” I cringed out of my seat. Person to person payments no matter where you bank is important. 2 - digital card rather than having to wait 3-10 business days for my card in the mail it would be nice to be able to download a temporary card to my digital wallet like Apple wallet. Other than that it’s fantastic!
Old app was much more informative
Usually when you get a new App you get a refresh of the look, however in this case they took away a ton of functionality. With the old app I could easily see all of my accounts at once, with balances for checking/saving, and payment due for my car loan. Now you have to dig into each account to find the basic info which was seen easily before. In the old app I could actually see on my loan how much was applied towards principle how much was interest. Now this info is no longer visible. I wish the old app was still around, this was a waste of money and time by Utah First.
Best Credit Union App
Coming from Chase I was used to a great app. Looked at lots of different banks and landed on Utah First primarily because of their app and next because of their customer service! Solid

Hands down the BEST bank!!!
Love working with them! So glad I made the decision to switch over to them. They have helped me get a car loan with not the best credit so I can rebuild it. The staff is very professional and very helpful!
Horrible
The app never updated a transaction so every time I check my account I always think I have money in it. The apps need fix . Transactions need to be updated on the spot .

Horrible App for Auto Loan
Customer service is the only thing I’d give 5 stars but the app is so behind! Won’t let you make payments on app, you have to go online. When you do transfers to pay your loan there’s nothing to see. Can’t tell if I set it up right or not. What’s worse is payment for transfer options are so limited. When you set up payment it takes forever for the bank to withdraw from the my regular bank account. It’s really bad! I’m so used to using my debit card so payments come out of my account asap. This is so frustrating how hard is to have a simple payment option with faster more efficient ways of making a car payment.

Doesn’t update
This app has gotten worse over time. My checking always has the incorrect balance. When I call they can’t help me. This issue has me seriously considering moving to a different credit union…
