I’m willing to be patient but this is rediculous
I last tried the iPad version of Zions app years ago and the experience was so horrible I decided to use the browser instead. There are times when the Zions page won’t allow a log in but the app will work but at least I didn’t feel like putting my fist through my iPad screen when I used the app. Fast forward to today (March 2026) and here I am trying the app again. The iPad has this really nice windowing capability but the Zions app doesn’t support it. It does let me resize the window but every time I go to a new page the app resizes itself and becomes full screen again. I’m convinced that Zions doesn’t care about their retail customers and care even less about the app performance. One of these days I’m going to get fed up and switch to a credit union or something because everyone I know that uses a CU has an excellent app, especially compared to Zions’s crummy app.
Delayed Messages/accurate Notification Updates
While I really love the app and being a member? I quite often am annoyed with the fact that I don’t get accurate updates on balances- I’m always being delivered the former days news. If I want to confirm my balance I have to actually open my app.. kinda defeats the purpose of notifications. I need accurate information and prompt notifications.

Fix your check options
Good app, but man it's a pain to dipost a check. I'll be there for 30 mins trying to wait for it to allow me to hit next. It doesn't tell me if the picture is wrong or if there's an error. But I would say this feature does suck. Please fix it

New format is a downgrade
Since the new format was launched now when I check my accounts all I can see are the #’s and barely any of the transaction details. Very frustrating. App is updated. I only use the phone app. The old format was great. Been a customer since the 90’s. Hope they can upgrade us back to a more convenient format soon. Love Zions Bank.

Doesn't even work
I'm not sure when, but this app doesn't even load fully anymore, it just gives me an error code 1003. And I'm not calling a help number to get the app to work—the app should just work.
Bill pay’s deducted sooner
I wish the Bill pay item’s would be deducted from balance sooner.
No VPN compatibility
Isn’t compatible when using VPN. Terrible for security risk.

When the app does load it works great and I can move money around very quickly but the problem is that the app will never load anymore and always has either a 1002 code or a 1003 code no matter where I am and how good my service is

App isn’t good
App used to be super great and user friendly. Since it was updated in October customers can’t go in and do things on their own. Example is the rewards. Previous you could go in and get the rewards on your own. Now if you click the rewards button it won’t take you anywhere. Why can’t this app actually be updated to work decent for customers?

Your call in switch board is bad, I can’t after selecting Customer Service press zero to talk to a person. I have to wait until you go through all the options. I already know I want to talk to the operator. I don’t need to listen to all your options and the people that do can’t listen to all our options. Plus this is the 5 new debit card in a year.

You cant do transfers on the new update please fix
New Update ruined it
App was great for years but has been declining. Transactions don’t show up very quickly anymore. MFA requires too many “clicks”.

Love going to my phone and making necessary transfer, and checking on my balance.
Doesn’t Work
Do you even realize that the latest app does not work. It will not even open up. I have deleted it and re-installed it several times. Still doesn’t open up. Have you given up with providing an app? If so, let your customers know.

What Happened? Error Code 1003
It use to work now it gives me error massage Code 1003 even after I uninstalled and reinstalled.
Writing in check amount numbers
I like how in the Zions Bank mobile deposit app as I write in the dollar amount of the check, the numbers move right to left, ending with the cents, so I don't have to add the decimal point myself.
Unreliable mobile upload
Regularly have issues trying to upload checks. Take compliant pictures, fill in the boxes, but it doesn’t allow the option to click the next button. The app doesn’t feel stable. Especially because there are so few Zion banks across the country the mobile upload is a dealbreaker.
