New app - I don’t like it
1. The sound when you open the app - it’s a great way of letting everyone else around you know that you are opening your bank account!! Not a very safe sound. I know you can disable the sound however I don’t understand the reason behind nor do i see need for this sound. 2. It looks very compact, like everything is squeezed into a very tiny space. Imagine if your phone screen is very small 😬 Also, for people like me with eye problems or sight issues, it is not very “friendly” to the eyes.
Frequent app updates
The interface in the app is ok, but the frequency with which app updates are rolled out is incredibly frustrating meaning that you often find you are out and without access to a wifi connection but unable to use the app until an app update has been downloaded and installed.

The new App is terrible!!
Everything is hidden, the whole ‘services’ tab disappeared! And I’m trying to replace my lost debit card, and I get the message “you don’t have any eligible cards” 🤦🏻♂️
New Update is having error
My Raktoken got disabled and i tried contacting love chat support as per app advice but support team advice is not even showing on the app the options.

I am really satisfied with the RAK Bank services as always, You are number one, this time there was a registration issue and the RAK bank representative took the charge and helped me throughout the process. He was patient, polite and very helpful. Things are solved and satisfied. Thank you so much RAK for serving me.

The July 2026 update is bad
Ever since I updated the app I am having the worst time trying to make it work!!! It doesnt mattet if I use wifi or data, stand at home or near a window it wont work, might work 1 time in every 10 tjmes you click on it!!! It was bad before but at least it worked abit more frequently

I am new at this bank so far it's good I dont know in the future. But i noticed something they don't include the balance in your account when you purchased on something.

RAK app New Update not working
I updated the app and later tried to log in using Face ID. But a pop-up message appeared several times showing “1533 bad request”after that I attempted to log with my username name password but no OTP was received. I then tried the “forgot password”option, but that also failed after three attempts with correct password and username, my account was blocked. And I was asked to visit bank , I will try to close the card through customer care instead. Thank you.

If ain’t broke..
The last app redesign was great. It was long overdue and an industry benchmark. I understand a nice, new and long overdue logo and font, provide a rare opportunity to refresh the app. So visually, well done, its looking modern and crisp. Using the new 2026 app though - I though my Credit Card had disappeared. It took my a few goes to find it. Hidden inside ‘You owe’. Why? By explicitly labelling money as ‘our money vs. your money’ RAK Bank have created unecessary customer confusion, friction and anxiety: Internal logic (asset vs liability) priority over customers mental mode (‘the products I use’) Seems minor, until you start using it. Aside from brand value impact, this negative framing now shouts “this is a problem (debt)” rather than “this is a tool you control”
Possible Glitch
After a payment transaction is made, the screen goes blank. The app has to be force closed to proceed further. Looks like a glitch in the app.

The latest update for this app has been revolutionary. A complete change from the previous design and speed (which was painfully slow). Thank you for finally doing this! Looks great, works smooth.

User will not understand about outstanding balance, u should have to update balances as it appears on the statement, why it is taking one more day to get update?? Change the design please

It is very bad, being a very new customer facing so many challenges with the App and not getting any notifications to approve the transaction and not even when I am trying to approve the app, not seeing anything to approve the transaction then how someone can make a payment if not able to approve this

RAK bank mobile app has single-handedly decided to become so secure that is has become unusable. It is apparently now mandatory to register for RAK token. Registration process is primitive and cumbersome. It demands multiple steps, including debit card PIN which RAK bank has conveniently forgotten to deliver to us! Is this a comedy or a tragedy? Most certainly, it is not fun!
Improvement
Please include the earned points for each credit card transaction in the statement so that we can know how many points we are earning for each transaction separately.

Just update the app but unfortunately the app still not have what I was hoping to see . No last 5 or 10 transaction. No information about the cash back amount. Can't use the cash back from the app. Hopefully this will be in the next updates.

This app is so bad compared to all other banking apps. No credit payments from other banks in the app, only view up to 10 of the last transactions and terrible interface and graphics. Rakbank please review others and update entirely to offer at the very least a similar product to your competitors. Thanks

There is no way I can control the transactions to avoid the scamming
Transfers not possible because of glitch
Transfers used to work before, now if I try to transfer between UAE banks, at the last step when you enter password nothing happens when you press Submit, stays on same screen. Very frustrating
