The refresh of credit card payment schedule on the due date is very confusing as it shows old due date and new amount due. Also, for banking- the SA account was promised 6% interest but I get only 2% each month Lack of information
New futures needed
1. Please allow users to edit a beneficiary’s nickname after it has been added. 2. It would be very useful to have an automatic salary distribution feature between the user’s own saving accounts within the bank. Users could set a fixed amount for each saving account, then distribute the salary across them with one tap once it is received. This would make budgeting and managing monthly expenses much easier.

Dear app developers, please add option to change font size in the app. All texts are so small, letters are so tiny. A lot of apps offer option to change the font size but not yours. Be open minded and considered for continuous improvement.

Today , i faced issue in the supermarket because i couldn’t able to use my card ,reason for “expired of the record of Emirates ID” from the bank , which was not informed totally and i had to call service and make a phone call to fix the issue for more than 25 minutes call. And we found out the reason at last . Not totally acceptable . Why there’s no informations about expired of ID record ?!!!!!! You just wasted my time

Last Update Killed App (Update)
There was an update which killed the app for me where the app would require FaceID on startup. This issue was resolved and I am able to use this app as before. Thank you to the developer for fixing this. Overall it’s a solid banking app. There are a few issues with clarity around how to manage some things.

Unresolved Billing Issue and Poor Customer Support.
I had an EMI on my card, and I fully settled the outstanding amount. However, one month later, I received a new statement asking me to pay AED 135.95 without any explanation. I am currently outside the UAE and have sent 4–5 emails requesting clarification, but I have not received a single response. The EI app has no option to raise a complaint, no live chat, and no WhatsApp support. I also cannot connect to customer care when calling from outside the UAE. This has been a very frustrating experience due to the lack of customer support and communication.

Suggestion for improvement
The app is user friendly and easy to use. However i believe the overall experience depends on both the app and the service. If there are discrepancies with transactions it affects the overall satisfaction. I hope the transaction realisability can be improved to match the quality of the app.

Does the basics of what you’d want but the constant pop-ups for everything are so aggravating. You shouldn’t have to dismiss “offers” (which feel a bit like shady marketing) more than once but it’s always 5 taps of hiding ads before you actually get to the app.

Option to find how to raise a complaint/ grievance/ concerns is so hidden that it’s hard to find the information.

So far the app is secure and easy to access. I’m just still navigating how to do the normal activities that I do such as transfer between accounts or local bank transfers.

Bad experience recently
I have had a good experience in general with EIB and always preferred over other banks, but this completely changed when I tried to open an Alpha youth account for my daughter, I went to the branch initially and they told me the Alpha account can be open digitally through the app with few simple steps and this is when the nightmare started, I did the account opening through the app but when the tried to deliver to me the debit card, the courrier showed to my door with the card only to tell me after scanning my ID that the package is not showing in the system and I need to visit the branch, long story short it has been 2 weeks, 2 visits to the branch and multiple complaints through the call center and still not resolved. Needless to say it has been the most frustrating account opening experience for me in the UAE!

Dont have option to redeem cashback on app No option to get info for cash on call As far as i remember, these are available on the original app. Ive been using this app for years now and disappointed to know that other functionaility which was there on the original app was still not in effect
