Scam Pop up subscriptions tricking user to subscribe
Scamming type subscriptions like breach watch , made like a function part of the app. Trick user to subscribe, and cannot cancel and refund. Other functions are okay.
Easy to use
Only thing I do not like, but at this point what’s new, is they keep asking for money.
“Support” is a joke at best
They want me to PAY additional for support so I can use the app subscription I already pay for ?!? A current subscription paid in full. I’ve used Keeper for several years. Had a family plan that I no longer need so I purchased a single subscription when the family plan ended. My app won’t recognize the new subscription or allowing me to change it. It insist on me renewing the family plan that I’m not going to renew. Send a message to Support explaining that I have a new sub subscription that I want to use and I’m not able to because of the family plan all of the detail. The response I get back is that my version does qualify for support. I can click a link for support so I can get their product operating on my device for a subscription active and paid . Their response is as offensive as it is ridiculous. I can no longer recommend them. My opinion is to avoid them. If they cannot or will not support their own product, who will?
Auto-Renew is a gotcha.
Good product But…They will charge your account three weeks ahead of time before the auto renew date and NOT give you a refund.
Can’t live without it!
I have use Keeper for years and it is truly a life saver.
Ruined by greed
I’ve used this app for almost 15 years, have hundreds of passwords saved. Now they want $43/year to continue using it. No thanks Keeper. Just transferred everything to BitWarden, which is free and offers unlimited passwords.
Customer service
I found they were really speedy in response time and clarified solutions to my problems well. The only suggestion I’d ask is to have an option to speak to clients also. It’s not always easy to communicate through email.
Can’t update passwords
I’ve used Keeper for 5+ years, including paying for their premium service during that time. I recently stopped paying, mainly because Apple Passwords served as a good back up. But, now I need to pay for Keeper Unlimited just to edit my records?… I’ll be moving my passwords over to Apple and Google now.

Total pain
All I wanted was an alphabetical index to keep track of my passwords. I didn’t really want a keeper per se but I couldn’t find anything else. I loaded it and it promptly took over my I pad. It superseded all the automatic passwords and I had to go through it. It wanted an exceedingly long password as well and every time I would try use PayPal or word or anything I had to stop and do its password. It was such a pain I deleted it. I’m sure that is a very secure app but it slowed me down and made everything very difficult!
Too expensive with free alternative
The price hike seemed unnecessarily big (nearly double) for no extra features. So I moved. That’s about it. Hope that helps. A bit more detail… Been using Keeper for 5 years or so. Been useful. However, the doubling of the price this year made me try the native password app on the Mac / iOS. You can migrate from one to the other fairly easily by exporting Keeper to a spreadsheet .csv, making a few changes (deleting and consolidating “notes”), then import to Apple Passwords. I ran them both for a month to make sure Apple Passwords could do the job, and yes, it pretty much did the exact same job, with the same efficiency. I didn’t user the fancy extra features of Keeper anyway. I kinda trust Apple more tbh, so all good. Just deleted Keeper. Nothing changed in my world. Thanks Keeper for the decent app, but time to move on.
Excellent Ap!!!!!
Very useful and continuously managed/updated to improve usefulness. The yearly fee is somewhat pricey to have on all my devices is my only detracting aspect for the Ap. Continue to be a truly needed ap! Very easy and continually updated with improvements! Continuously kept up to date and improved! You Will need this ! The Very Best password manager you will ever find, it’s a joy to keep up with all those passwords!
Technical support
Worst technical support, I cancel my subscription because keeper never responded to me. Used apple password, they are much better.
Impressive
I’ve been using Keeper since 2017 & have been so happy with its security & seamless operation. I’d give it 5 Stars except it did recently lock me out so I couldn’t access it for 2 or 3 days while I communicated with Keeper who finally got me up & running again. Their Help Team was surprisingly reliable, patient, helpful & knowledgeable. All in all very impressed.
Works fine - Read the fine print before subscribing
I’ve had this app for about. 5-6 years. I used it bunch in the beginning but once I switched to an IPhone I never had the need for the Keeper app. Unfortunately it has been on auto renewal and somehow along the way additional storage was added to my account. I didn’t ask for it or have the need for it and if you look inside my account you would see 0 bytes of storage being used. My plan just renewed and if you cancel they can’t prorate and refund the unused time. Make sure you pay attention to the automatic renewal and check every once in a while you don’t have any extra services that you didn’t want or ask for.
Great app. Now too expensive
I have used this app for many years and have been really pleased with it until the recent huge subscription price jump. I don’t think I’ll be renewing when my subscription runs out. Otherwise it really good app

I have had Keeper for years now. I don’t even remember what I used prior to having it. But…I know I have intentions of letting it go.
Lost passwords with paid subscription
I have a paid subscription of keeper security. At some point my older Iphone keeper software stopped syncing and there was no reason provided.THE SOFTWARE DID NOT SAY I NEED AN UPDATED VERSION LIKE EVERY OTHER APP DOES NOR DID IT SAY SYNC IS FAILING. When I got my new phone it synced old data from the vault and all my passwords from my old phone was lost. TO RUB IT IN KEEPER SUPPORT MADE IT LOOK LIKE AN USER ISSUE FOR NOT UPDATING. I have lost most of my passwords.and the ones I have I am not sure if it is the latest. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Off line protect
Watch out if you have turned off having access to passwords off line it doesn’t matter I have it toggled off. Yet today by accident I went into the app off line and it still allowed access with no password to the app required. I was wondering how all my accounts were being hacked now I know they have been accessing keeper even thought I did toggle off no off line access.
Nearly doubling its price in 2026
I have used this app for years but I am absolutely shocked to receive an email saying it’s Price from £22.99 to £39.99. I can’t justify that and I’m actually angry at the audacity.

This was good at £22 per year
I have enjoyed using this for several years. I started with free version and could add and edit with data stored locally to my phone. I am shocked the subscription has nearly doubled to £39.99 this year and the company have locked the app so you can’t edit or create entries without paying. They are holding us to ransom for our data so I would not advise anyone using this.

Good luck getting in it the whole setup system is mental. Put the password in and get an email. Email doesn’t work then the password doesn’t work. Good luck.

I have no complaints about this safe App.. As long as I remember my password to get into my App. safe it holds all the passwords for all the App's that ask for the password so I can go on with whatever App. I'm in. It keep the passwords safe from anyone wanting to know my passwords, and I like that! Get this App. it's the best safe App. I know😊 That the truth to you all who want to remember your passwords but, don't want anyone else to know them. It's to me very safe and as long as you remember the password to get into the App. safe you will do okay and that the truth again👍🏼👍🏼. Still the best App. EVER!!! What can I say on my iPhone you can get in so fast with touch thumb print I like that fetcher, I just wish that fetcher could be set up on my iPad but, I'm okay I still remember my password. Terrible customer service
I tried this app for less than an hour. It is clunky and difficult to navigate. I attempted to get my money back, but they instead forced me to pay for an entire year an hour after my purchase. DO NOT BUY! Update: the developer reached out stating there must have been confusion regarding payment and customer service could help and sending me this link to change my review. I contacted customer and they still were unwilling to offer a refund for something I won’t use for a year. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Brilliant app - not worth £39.99 though
I’ve had this app for years and years and have never been able to fault it however, a new price renewal of £39.99 from £22.99 is taking the mick so unfortunately I’ve cancelled my subscription. It’s not worth that price.
Price jacking
I’ve had this app for years. They just upped the price from $21 CAD to $50. It was maybe worth $20 but not $50. So I just cancelled. Robbery

App looked good so downloaded & got passwords sorted, only to then find it's just a month's free trial then £40p.a. Should be mentioned up front as many other free apps out there to us.

I have used Keeper for a number of years now. Originally it was just a few pound a year. Then it went up to £22.99 per year and I stayed with them. But now after being notified it is going to be £39.99 a year I am calling it a day and cancelling my subscription. A hike of 74% is just too much especially as a Password Manager is now built into iOS and to be honest I mainly use that feature with Face ID anyway.

Great app, poor helpdesk service
Have been using Keeper for years. It’s excellent (multi platform capability and 2FA are highlights) and I even keep going with it whilst I get a password manager along with my VPN subscription. Only negatives are paying an additional fee for password breach monitoring and poor service from the in-app help function. I recently had a query and they mailed me back just saying don’t mail as they don’t monitor the email- really poor. They never responded to my reply 😕
Passwords don’t sync
I’ve reset my Amazon password 7 times now because my changes on iOS aren’t syncing and getting changes I made on desktop and vice versa. This is a basic feature that should be working seamlessly and I’m very frustrated this is even happening with no apparent way to force a sync
Great app; very buggy
Love all the features. Have been using keeper for years. However 6 out of 10 times when i open the app on iphone its empty and says lets add some records (i have 250+ logins) . Hitting search throws ‘optimising for search’ so cant search. Very frustrating as the only way around is to find a logged in laptop and access that way. This doesnt happen on my laptop via browser extension P.S reinstalling app or resetting iphone to default (aka deleting everything) doenst help. Hope you can somehow fix this

Great but needs one more option
I wish this had an option to make the 2FA code available via Apple Watch. This would be a great option to have especially if we could enable it individually for each 2FA
