useful af
dura is incredibly useful for managing your workload
The app is terrible on iOS
I have used Jira for over a decade normally a huge fan. This iOS is all over the place.
Very effective
This is game changer app. Very helpful even in free version. Appreciate your efforts.
Anjali Deshmukh
It took too long for you to understand that Jira user can’t use “@“ to loop in someone in conversation, while replying to someone’s message. But now the feature is added and is very useful. Still, runtime spellcheck feature seems missing. Please add it and just underline the misspelled word but do not autocorrect it; just suggest the correct word/spelling. Thanks
App has a bug and is not attended for long
There’s a bug where it asks the notification configuration. The app freezes at that stage and does not move forward. I have to close the app and reopen it every time. This issues has been there for a really long time and I’m surprised they haven’t fixed it.

Tried to use the insulate my other didn’t work
Turns out the tickets aren’t paper
Backlog Not Displaying and Incomplete Sprint Reports (Jira Cloud)
In Jira Cloud, the Backlog view is not displaying at all after installing the app. Additionally, in Sprint Reports, only Velocity and Burndown are visible, while all remaining report sections are not showing.
Multiple links, multiple codes, multiple companies, multiple projects
Can’t even activate. As I try, I get several login codes concurrently. Hassle to go back and forth on my phone to set up one founder who has multiple startups launching and scaling. Which single login with dashboard bite to my portfolio companies was possible.
Enhancement request
App works fine but I have a minor complaint about the UI. On iPad, ticket cards are too easily dismissed by the slightest gesture. When I open a ticket as a popover, then try to scroll, the card is dismissed if my scroll gesture goes slightly off axis. It is very frustrating.
Project manager
Is super tool for jobs sides
Not Functional
Logging in I’m prompted to setup notifications yet can’t get past the screen. Cool.
Useful but inferior to the web interface
The design choices in this app are bizarre. Knowledge on how to use the web interface does not help in learning how to use the mobile interface. Key features are missing like automations and plugins. Formatting is a subset of what is available on the web. Updates are slower than the web.
Adding unnecessary steps to upsell new features
A decent app overall but for a productivity app, it’s criminal to add unnecessary steps during key processes (like add new task) behind a paywall to try and upsell AI add ons. A new task should be 1 click, not click “do you want to add a new task or use new AI mode”.
Can’t read text
Our company uses Jira for ticketing system. We are unable to read text from users in dark mode on iOS.
Great on desktop and on the go
I really love that I can quickly get a view of my projects even on the go. Functionality is very similar to the full desktop version.
Terrible experience
Unable to switch sites. No matter what I do it remembers the wrong site. I chose the wrong one because there was no description (very bad UX design), just a random suffix. Then I cannot switch out of the bad account. No matter what I try, it takes me right back. Log out, delete cookies for Safari, delete/reinstall app. This is the worst app experience I can remember.
Working fine all good
Working fine
Creating ticket doesn’t work
I have had this app for ages for work and it will not let me create a ticket. It just says I need to set the account, but there is no field for account so I cannot set it!! Please fix this but it drives me mad, makes the app pointless.
It’s okay, I guess.
I mean, it could be worse.
Mobile app is good
It notifies all relevant activities on tasks im associated withwith.
Last update - worse ever
In the last update I can’t copy links. I can’t see settings because I don’t have enable notifications. I can’t see latest tickets created.
A little inconsistent
Overall the tool isn’t the worst that I have used on the ipad, although there are many times it is just not intuitive, or limited in how you can use the tool compared to web experience.
Backlog won’t open after the latest update
The backlog on my board actually any of the board won’t open it just stay on the same page example - if I’m on report and I click backlog for the board we just stay on the report on even if backlog is selected, please fix this possible
Let us run the iPad app on Mac!
After the really amazing native Mac app was killed I keep hoping they enable the iPad app to run on Mac.
nice app! very convenient!
Very nice app that helps me manage things to do!
Using Jira in app
Experience of Jira in app for enterprise is quite challenging we need to login multiple times
Re-take
4.3
Dark mode doesn’t work
Ok app but dark mode is unusable and it doesn’t save light mode in the app, very frustrating
Internal forms don’t work
I can never fill out an internal form on the app. I always have to use the web version and when I begin filling out the form in Safari, the webpage always crashes.
This tool is a lifesaver.
Helps me keep track of all my workload and saves me from chaos
No Flexibility
Chose a site during first download and now it won’t let me change sites even though I know I have access to others. Tried redownloading app, clearing data, and different devices nothing worked and documentation about the app is horrible on their site
Works well
Some features from web are hard to use/find. Really good app otherwise
Crashing and overheating
Latest version gets crashing frequently and overheating the phone. Fix it please
Pretty buggy
Can’t add comments to Issues without locking up the app.
Awesome
I use the iOS app 2 hours a day for working instead of the Windows version. The Smartphone app is more productive
Bugs everywhere
Move an item in the same column to order by priority? Reverts back. This thing is so buggy it's unusable
Nice app
Nice app
No Dashboards
Couldn’t able to view the dashboards. Even if we can’t create a own dashboard in mobile app, atleast already existing dashboards could have been shown for viewing purposes.
It’s ok but lacks a lot of the web-based functionality
I currently use Jira for my personal task and project, and although it’s very useful and the mobile app does help having easy access to my tickets/task, it has bugs and is very bare-bone compared to the web version. For starters: - Can’t choose my Epic’s color, I have to write it (it’s hard to remember the exact names) - Task tickets get duplicated in the “All Work” tab of the iOS app, I’ve played with filters but still does it. - Can’t create any automation through the app or do any modifications to the project, not even change statuses names. Overall ok but this app feels a bit like an afterthought.
A Cut Above The Rest.
The platform is a cut above the rest.
Broken half the times
Get better engineers pleaseeee
Nice
Good easy to use and visually good.
Extremely buggy
Whenever I try to scroll on the board view it’s just frozen, ultimately renders the app unusable.
Login issue
Log in is very difficult most the times on iOS version . Please resolve it
Lite
Nice
Verification code doesn’t come until 10 mins later
Verification code doesn’t come until 10 mins later - this is super inconvenient and sometime the system ask you twice for the verification code. Super unnecessary.
Awesome UX
Awesome UX
Feels like a web app, only less responsive.
Every year or two, I start this up to see if it has improved. As I recall, this used to be little more than a web view around the web app; which meant that it shared the lousy keybindings with the web app, and because the actual web app had a banner to redirect to the iPad App. This last time around, it Is clearly different to the web app, but not in any useful way. Functionality is down, much harder to customise boards and such forth. The real killer is the responsiveness. I found I had to click on issues three or four times before they displayed. I’m not on the fastest internet, so it may be the app isn’t showing any visual feedback until it gets the details of the ticket, but showing visual feedback when waiting for remote resources is such a basic need in any mobile app.
