Not for Individual Users
I have been evaluating flowcharting solutions and really enjoyed using Lucid on the web. I installed the app and found that I must be a paid Team or Enterprise user to use it. I was considering paying for Lucid’s Individual plan because I really liked the service however, I don’t like how the web page works on my mobile devices. Because I do not have access to the app as an Individual user, I’ve decided not to subscribe to Lucid and will be choosing a different solution that allows the use of their App at a reasonable price.
Intuitiva y fácil de usar.
La aplicación es muy buena y ayuda bastante para tener y hacer diagramas muy rápido. El único punto negativo que la app esta un poco limitada a comparación con la versión web.

Ridiculous that I pay $11/month for this and still cant even use the app. Love lucidchart and its capabilities but at the end of the day they are just another corporation trying to steal as much money from you as humanly possible. $11/month for a charting program that I can’t even use the app for!? They should be ashamed
No longer usable for individual use on iPad
I've been using Lucid for years and constraining tablets and mobile now to teams/organization and removing the application from supporting individual (paid) account was a terrible decision. I do work for myself and outside of my projects that are not part of a team, and I require separation of accounts and projects. I lose so much real estate having to now be forced to use a browser in my iPad. Additionally, while on the Lucidchart web, there is a huge "Open App" button, but I obviously can't because my paid account is not part of a team or org, so, it's just taking up even more pixel space. Please allow Lucidchart to be used without a team or organization for Paid accounts.
Bloody brilliant
Really like the desktop web app, so thought I'd try the iPad version and am really impressed. The more recent reviews seen to have been noted, and the app seems pretty flawless now? I do have a subscription though, but it seems worth it for the desktop web app alone.
Doesn’t work unless enterprise
As a paid individual user you can’t use the app. Not sure why developers don’t allow access to paid users

Great app! …need better QC
I will update this rating back to 4 or 5 stars once this bug is fixed in the app. There is a support thread going right now where on both the web version and the iPad app, there is an issue where moving the mouse pointer near controls along the edges causes the canvas to scroll away in the opposite direction. Makes the app basically unusable. Really seems like that is something that should have been caught before a release.

You hurt your paid customers
You removed my ability to use the iPad app even with a PAID account. There for, you lost a 5+ year paid user. Horrible decision you made, and you blame Apple for hurting your loyal customers, when the decision was yours. Shameful.

Cuando quiero convertir un texto a italic, el texto de la figura completa se cambiará, a pesar de tener seleccionado unicamente el texto que quiero convertir en italic. Yo que uso Lucidchart para dibujar diagramas de clase UML, ésto es un detalle muy negativo.
Really bad customer service buggy app
The app is okay albeit a bit buggy paid for a subscription for a month and was unable to use it when I contacted customer service their advice was that I cancel the iTunes service and thanks for the money, they were more interested in getting back to their coffee then dealing with customers. They also have locked down the app that you used to be able to use in preference for the inferior website

I used Lucidchart a great deal to create wireframes and process maps as part of my thought process. I pay the monthly app fee. Suddenly, however, I am limited to only being able to edit the last three documents created. This severely limits the utility of the app. What’s going on?!

Great for turning those thoughts into reality. This app is super easy to use (not too sure why some other comments said it was quite difficult) because it’s not! Simple and quick to use drag and drop system makes it super easy to create diagrams, and would totally recommend this app!

This app used to work for Free Tier users. You pricks locked it behind paid and enterprise accounts for NO reason other than greed. I was a paying customer on and off as needs arise but now I refuse to renew out of principle.

Utterly Useless on iPad for Individuals
I really like Lucid Chart and use it for my business operations and to create clear charts, but the fact it's not available for individuals is making me reconsider my subscription. Additionally, the website redirects me to the app, which I cannot use. Let's fix this please.
Love the app, but some key features are missing
I’ve used a number of modelling tools in the past, including some really beefy enterprise-grade solutions. In my view, the ease of use and extensibility this offers are by far uncontested. However, what I find sorely lacking is 2FA. Enterprise tier with SAML isn’t really an option, or practical in any way for single users. Please fix it.

Nice product to use
No single user access
The decision to make the app exclusive to Team and Enterprise users is boneheaded and greedy. I used to use this app on the go often and it was nice to be able to access my projects when not at my computer and not have to navigate it on my mobile browser. Now any of us on individual plans are screwed. Thanks Lucidchart.

Not for Apple Pencil
The app provides great selection of templates, shapes and connections. But I was hoping to draw shapes and text using Apple Pencil which unfortunately doesn’t work. That means I’m stuck with touches and keyboard input. This is a deal breaker for me 🙁

Die App lässt sich nicht mehr öffnen. Nachtrag: Wenn die App sich nicht öffnen lässt, einfach löschen und wieder installieren. Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn sich hier der Support gemeldet hätte. Insgesamt das beste Tool, um Prozesse zu malen. Mit dem iPad und iPhone sind nicht alle Funktionen der sehr guten Web-Anwendung vorhanden. Deshalb 4 Sterne. 5 Sterne gäbe es für den vollen Funktionsumfang.
Buggy
Been using the iPad pro version of this app for several years but frequently it has a hard time opening text to edit and other weird issues. It has random bugs that seem to come and go. NOW it's telling me I can't use the iPad app, but have to use it in my browser. I like this app, but the developers are constantly changing stuff. I use this app for work, to earn money. So every time you make a change, I lose data, or I lose time, or it's a hassle. Ive got alot of time invested in this app and all of the charts I've made. Don't make me dump you because you can't keep your customers happy.
Useful, But useless
Useful app, tons of features. But this app is anything but smooth. Laggy experience. Becomes useless when things start to go wrong. Auto-save is a pain. Auto rearrangement of the shapes messes the layout you built with. Undo feature works often and not all the time.

Frustratingly locked for education users
It’s really frustrating that the app version is not available for educational users. Seems pointlessly locked.
Apple Pencil bug
When we are working in a chart with more than 1 page, the Apple Pencil selection does not work anymore. It selects in places where you are not touching
not good for studying
tried to use it to make a big map on everything I need for a topic. Turns out you can’t use a lot of shapes without buying premium. I’m broke. Wouldn’t recommend using it if you can’t afford premium. I understand you can’t make everything free if you want to make money but if you only are using Lucidchart casually and your broke there’s way better apps to use. The rest of the app is fine but it annoys me that the literal point of your app is set on a limit. Would not recommend to anyone who doesn’t run a company.
Going good until...
... it began reacting weirdly to Apple Pencil on one diagram. I’ve wiped the screen, reconnected my pencil and still on this one diagram it selects about 3cm below where my pencil is on the screen.

Needs to have an app option
Browser incompatibility issues would be remediate if they simply offered an app version! I’m not disabling my browser plugins for this one site! Even on mobile devices can’t login to the gov account!
Great app but a few bugs
I love this app! Don’t get me wrong it is an awesome app packed with features and very neat, just has a few problems. Sometimes you can change the styles on the boxes and you might need to tap a few times to get it to select something but other than that is good. Keep up the good work
Nice but text doesn’t work properly
I have been making a diagram for a coursework assignment on my iPad and every now and then the text I was typing left only a blank space in the box. After a bit of testing I found that when you type the letters q, z or j into a word the whole word disappears. It is not limited to letters though, it also happens when you use any number above 2 and the majority of punctuation Please fix this issue!
Great tool, but is it worth the monthly subs? Not really
The good bits are hidden behind the subscription, which is a shame. I would buy this, but I’m not leasing it..
Useful work app
Currently on the basic version which has been really handy for work having been given a complex project to put together. Have produced a professional looking organisational and process chart which has helped visually. Well worth using.

Cool! Unusual app with a template for every activity under the sun. Lots of fun interactions. Works fantastic with iPad which can’t be said for many apps. Only wish you could preview templates before they were loaded in to save time and squinting.
Almost brilliant but expensive and missing key features
Why can’t I add notes and links on the iPad? I was about to upgrade but will now be looking for another tool.
Buggy iPad app - but unbeatable web based service
The iPad app is just too difficult and buggy to use: regular and replicable freezes in touchscreen detection when trying to move objects, difficulties in activating text fields within objects and the impossibility of accurately resizing and placing objects with fine precision, mean that the web interface is the only way to use Lucidchart for now. It took me hours to create a chart using the app - fiddly and inconsistent dragging, resizing and text editing were the main problems - whereas I could have done it using Chrome within probably half an hour. As an experiment I persisted but I still need to edit the results in a web based browser. Hopefully the app will improve in time but for now, beyond basic charting, I can't see how it can replace the web interface. This is no criticism though of the incredible core Lucidchart backend service or the web interface. In terms of app freezing whereby the canvas touchscreen becomes unresponsive but the pull out control panel still works, this renders the app essentially unusable. The workaround is to pull out the panel which usually reactivates the touchscreen functionality on the canvas. Bugs like this though shouldn't exist in a non beta service.
Simply the best!
I've used the cloud version on my Mac for a year and just discovered the mobile version. This really is the best software for drawing diagrams - whether simple org charts or very complex business models or processes. I couldn't work without it.

A bit slow
I love Lucidchart on browser and am a paid up suscriber. However the iPad app is quite slow and laggy. When i open the app it often takes a while to load, when I open a “file” this is also really slow. Additionally when I scroll and zoom around a diagram it’s a super low frame rate (not the 120hz my iPad Pro is capable of). Surely there’s some way to optimise (1) file opening (2) startup and (3) zooming? My iPad Pro 13” 2018 is literally one of the fastest evinces on the market across portables and desktops, would be good to see top class performance in lucid chart :)
This app has lots of potential, however, there are serious flaws ruining the experience
No matter what I do, lines connecting any ERD elements (I haven't tested on any other type of diagram) do not export properly at all. The app is great but it has crashed on my iPad Pro 6+ times over the last hour which causes for a very frustrating experience - this seemed to all happen when I was in the 'Manage' area when I was editing the ERD box fields. These issues are exactly what are holding me back becoming a paid member.
