100% worthless
Its an app for an app. Everything that is Microsoft loop was in Microsoft Teams. I refuse to use it for work. I’m not keeping another worthless app to keep track of data that already had a place. All those five star reviews are phony, nobody loves this app.
It uglifies emojis
I just started using it and it seems okay overall, but for some reason it replaces all my emojis with uglier versions.
Buggy
Constant authentication and sync issues. Great other than the bugs!
LOOP UI
Love loop, however the UI is clunky and sometimes after loading all the table details it will glitch and I’ll have to start over. Or if I don’t work quickly enough it times out and I have to start over. If i have a large table I do it first in xls and paste it into loop to address these 2 issues.
Very nice App
Excellent
Need better training
Don’t understand the tool
Widget when?
Loop itself is pretty great. Would love to have proper widget options :)
Review
Getting slow when typing on iPad for more than 2 mins. Not able to insert component of hand writing
Laggy Slow on iPhone
I really enjoy using Loop on my desktop/Mac in Teams but it is slow and laggy on my iPhone.
Great app for group notes
Opening categories for specific areas and then saving notes from those areas in these categories really help organizing notes. Teams notes from the past and upcoming list of plans can be saved here. Great program.
Buggy
I love the idea and design, but the product has so many errors and is slow to render changes and contains too many bugs. maybe one day it will work like.
Bonne app pour s’organiser
Bonne app pour rassembler l’info et collaborer, mais il y a encore place pour l’amélioration notamment avec les liens vers les autres app. Pour remplacer notes totalement,, mais quelque options pertinentes sont encore indisponibles.
Limited UI for tables
Has basic functionality for tables but it’s limited compared to other platforms
App is crashing on iPad
Unable to sign in app crashing all the time please fix.
Solid alternative to Notion
Overall a good product!
Can’t use
iPad app can’t use
Getting there
I like the idea of loop and it has some good thing but it has a long way to got catch up to others options like OneNote. There are many almost there like tables are not even near what can be done in OneNote and even further from excel.
It has potential, but not there yet.
The mobile app is very limited. It does’nt let you move notes to other folders. Even editing is limited. I wish it was as useful as the desk top version.
Mixed experience
Loop is one of those products that both hits and misses. I do use it frequently, but the collaborative goals I had with it are overshadowed by the misses, making its usefulness less than desired. For hits, there are some really interesting tools when creating content on a page, and the integration of Copilot in the page authoring itself can be helpful. However, for all the hits, there are misses. Folders you create have no real organization in them, and you cannot templatize a folder to create a project brief, shared task list, etc. So, you have to manually produce that organization. Also, in the Office tools, Loop components are embeds. They can have their own security, etc., something that cannot be seamlessly managed. It's as though the product was an internal skunkworks or separate effort, was acquired, but the integration across the suite never happened.
Great Workstation
Still a bit patchy, but the best app for my windows platform that I can instantly work with data on my phone that transfers to my computer, working with my own files - lots of potential, still needs work with the deletion of pages & creation of new Workspaces… it is great though just what I needed now for data science
Also unable to sign in
It took me through an authentication loop with my work authentication app (also through Microsoft) and I was unable to use the app. Not the loop I was hoping for.
Potential
I see a lot of potential here but still pretty early days. Looking forward to seeing how this gets off the ground.
Less than optimal capabilities
The IOS version has much less capability then the web version. You cannot organize newly created loops within existing subpage hierarchy. There are several other functionalities that are missing.
Notifications
I would give this app five stars if it actually sent updates to our devices when we are mentioned in loop and things are updated similar to the emails. Otherwise it’s almost pointless
Good concept needs more love
Good conceptually. Lots of bugs in the web version that are obvious. Microsoft should put some more resources into this application.
Would never let me sign in
Even though I use this for work quite often, and all of our teams notes automatically go to Loop, I could not sign into the app.
Need workspace list; codes & Latex enabled
It is still missing the wokspace list. Hope the update will have it. Enable coding & LaTex
Compare to Notion
NOTION!
Valuable < Unstable
The web app is constantly crashing, more than once a day. Multiple times I go to “save as loop component” and it loses / deletes the selected content.
👍
Yes
Laggy and doesn’t match the website
Please allow the website to load in the browser
Task lists
The task list is active and provides reminders which is amazing. One wish would be to be able to copy and pasted tasks from one past meeting task list to a current meeting past list. This would be ideal to carry forward pending tasks for meeting discussion and reminders.
Cumbersome navigation on iPad
Simple not useable on iPad as it’s hard to navigate pages. The iPad app is structured like the mobile app. It doesn’t use the additional screen real estate for easy navigation within workspaces. I was hoping for a Notion like experience, where you have a fixed vertical side menu with all the pages within a “workspace”. Since its so cumbersome to navigate it’s not easy to edit multiple pages at once nor to browse through the resources. I believe the app is great to simple add and edit specific elements, but it doesn’t suit my use case (browsing through documentation).
Comparaison
J’ai travaillé beaucoup avec Notion, et je trouve l’idée bonnes, mais vous semblez timide sur les outils comparativement a Notion vous avez déjà commencé à copier allez y a fond
Cool
Cool
The UX is awful
No way to exit out of a comment view once left (must force close app) on a page in the tablet app. Sharing a page with edit access grants only read-only access from mobile. No access to version history. Not even a clear way to access the web version of loop on mobile… direct links bring you to the loop homepage, a shareable link is read only. Infuriating experience - IT need to stop mandating MSFT apps. Between this and teams it’s impossible to get anything done efficiently.
Please make a widget
This has become my note taking app, I love how simple it is to navigate, so much intuitive than OneNote, big plus is having the ability to create different workspaces. My only wish is a widget option. Other than that it’s a great app.
Great Concept but Glitchy
Could be an awesome App. But it glitches and is completely unusable on my iPhone 14 Pro. Works good on my iPad Pro besides the fact that the image is small and doesn’t fill the whole iPad screen. Most likely because it’s an app made for phones
Rough
I love using Loop through the browser on my computer. It has completely changed how I work and collaborate with my team. But the iOS app is rough… Navigation between workbooks is not as intuitive as it should be, and typing likes to add spaces and formatting. If I had to guess, Microsoft is trying to program it too much and not using some of the iOS defaults. Could help them in parity with Android or other places, but makes for frustration at times. If you are just using this app to view what you have in Loop already, you’ll have no issues.
Game changer
From desktop, to mobile and back Loop does it all. From work to weekends seamlessly handling all my needs.
Awful
High latency for creating notes. Deleting notes doesn’t work. Confusing UI with multiple unneeded elements. Looks like all actions are backend driven and it shows
Great Product
This is a great product but standard export methods to EXCEL, WORD, AND PDF for further record keeping and reporting would be a great feature which is kind of missing. iPad version doesn’t behave like desktop for shortcuts but OK. Definitely better than Confluence for day to day use. Thanks for the release.
Great start but needs much better search
Have been using Loop since I noticed it integrated into Microsoft teams. It has become my go to tool for all meeting notes, and I love the ability to share notes across tools and let everyone edit them live. Major barrier to use for me is its very limited search capabilities. The inability to search across note contents makes finding content needlessly difficult.
iPhone Compatibility Could Improve
Very laggy compared to Windows experience.
Loop is amazing
Cannot say enough good things about the tool for task tracking, process recording, event planning and project management.
Missing features
Does not make use of the additional space on iPad, impossible to make subpages and can’t even rearrange them. Realistically it is unusable compared to Confluence, Notion, or OneNote.
Great for business & personal use
It’s developing all the time and has a lot of potential. I’d like to see more text formatting options including the ability to add vertical and horizontal page sections, like SPO pages. For personal use, I’m loving the mobile app for viewing what I created on the desktop. Would like to be able to upload my own page banner images. Please don’t paywall this software like you are doing with everything else these days.
Formatting and functionality broken on iPad
I want to like the app, but the functionality is broken overall. The “/“ shortcut prompts a pop-up, but when you select the type of content field you’d like to generate, it simply turns the “/prompt” into plain text. There’s no way to organize pages into subpages in the app, navigating through existing pages is incredibly frustrating…it’s clear the developers did not test the app prior to launch. It’s less functional than the native iPadOS notes app.
Add deep support for Apple Pencil
I want to see deep support for Apple Pencil and all of the Apple Pencil pro features. Take what you’ve started to learn in OneNote and improve it here.
