The new update lost several features and went several steps backwards. May be time to switch to an Aura. It’s that bad!!!
Bigger font size please!
Please please please make the size of the text bigger! Or alternatively, incorporate an option on the settings of the app that allows the user to choose more accessible font sizes :)
Dislike new app design
This rating is only about the app design update not the ring. Just wanted to let UH know thanks for the app update but it not as clean to use and I hate having to slide the globe around to see my scores for the day. Anything having to click in isnt as easy at a glance. Like step count for example. I would rather a quick snapshot up top of all my stats. I am active so this should be easier to navigate quickly and on the go. Can I have an option to switch to the old version while you continue working on this new version?
New update.
This is the first time I ever written a review, but I’m disappointed with the new update. I wish there were an option to switch back to the previous version. For me it’s not an improvement, especially since you removed all built in workouts that I personally used constantly. The data is now also much harder to read as it was before.
Love The New Interface and Look
Have been a huge fan of Ultrahuman app and has been an integral part of tracking my lifestyle and fitness journey. But today I am specially writing a review after seeing the new white colour interface and the new look of the app which looks very classy and amazing. Kudos to the team.

Great ring tracker
I love my Ultrahuman ring. It has all the data and like others have said without the subscription like the Oura ring. The battery last a long time and my cycle tracker has been really helpful. I do wish you could connect with friends on the app that have the Ultrahuman similar to the Oura.
New app update
The new app update is terrible. The data is presented in a way that makes the information tricky to find and the white background and small text makes it hard to read. Go back to the old interface.
Font too small
It might sound trivial, but many people who have and enjoy the ring are on the older side and benefit from being able to increase font sizes on apps. I do like the new look and feel of the app, but the font is way too small so it’s making me use it less.
Exceptional!
The updated app to their Emerald platform is absolutely a game changer! It has even improved the battery on my UH Air and rivals the Oura Gen 5 head to head (I have it too for comparison). I am a data nerd but appreciate the more insightful and useful AI direction it is going. Keep up the good work! I am a lifelong user!
Janky update
The new update of the app isn’t as insightful or accessible as it used to be. The temperature deviation features don’t even work. I’m no longer able to look at my monthly values, click them and read the insight. The reporting isn’t accurate either in accordance to the ranges they give. It indicated my temp was well aged but the key below it was saying “baseline” despite the value falling under “needs attention”
Love the ring- battery life isn’t great
I’ve had my ring for about a year now- it’s my second one! My first stopped connecting and after talking to the great customer staff I was sent another. Overall it’s a great ring, tracks everything I need and it’s sleek and the gold color doesn’t wear off. The only real issue with it is the battery life. On average it only last about 1-2 days which is not ideal! Definitely would repurchase if new model has better battery life.
New update is lame
The new app update is horrible (v4.0) - the layout design screams android from 2013. I miss the minimal layout from before. Also on my 4th ring so if you ever get one make sure you buy the coverage!
The Update
I don’t like the new update, and quite frankly wish there was a (optional) way to turn it back to how it looked before. The new update is both clunky feeling and also not that much of an improvement, so overall I just think it’s bad! Aside from that, I’d say the ring is ok but this isn’t a full review of the ring, just a short review of the update. Either 2, 2.5 or 3 stars for it. And also can tech companies stop changing the appearance of their apps and services for 5 minutes?! Anyway, thanks for reading.

New App version
The new app version is absolutely terribly designed and not functional. Nothing loads syncs nor works properly and all I get is error messages instead of my data
Good customer service
I purchased this week about a week ago and it worked for 1 day and then disconnected from my app, I contacted UH via instagram chat and they quickly replied and suggested I do a battery drain reset, it took 4 days and then followed the instructions to charge and try again, it still didn’t work. I contacted them again and they are sending me a new ring immediately. I am giving them a 4 star because even though I only got 1 days use, I liked the interface of the app, the info it provides and the customer service was quick.
Disappointing step tracking for insurance compliance
Persistent 30% undercounting compared to Apple health. Known algorithmic issue that a replacement ring could not fix. Requested a refund - they are silent
Help with adding activity
Since the new update, I can’t figure out how to manually add workouts like strength training, Pilates, etc. Not easy like it was before the update.

My wife’s ring and now mine have both had lithium ion battery failures right at the one year mark, just outside warranty, they have now bubbled and customer service will not support them. The Ring Air is band in USA now, they tried upselling us to buy their new Ring Pro. Terrible customer service, don’t buy…
Irritating flaw
The app does not follow the screen appearance setting under iOS’s Appearance. It defaults to dark even when the user has light selected. Users make that choice deliberately.
Tracking isn’t accurate
I wear my ring much more than my Apple Watch, they are also worn on the same hand yet my watch reads DOUBLE the amount of steps VS the ring. At this point it’s junk and I’m regretting the purchase.
App Update Confusing
The app interface has been completely overhauled. The original interface wasn’t anything spectacular, but at least I could find my data and understand it. The data is now more difficult to understand and interpret, not to mention with everything in capital letters it’s hard to distinguish what is important in terms of health hierarchy. The “world” icon on load is cool, but it truly doesn’t serve any health purpose. The data now seems to be a bit more disorganized instead of getting an overall snapshot upon logging in each morning. Love the ring and the data, but it’s just more difficult to interpret now.
Targeted and Useful Data
This APP is truly wonderful,provides meaningful and usable data. Service is also one of the best I have seen.
Do not buy!
I got an ultrahuman ring last April, by August that ring died and I reached out to customer service and they sent me a new ring. By January that ring died and I found out that they will only replace your ring three times, so I asked for a refund and they told me that these rings don’t usually die. It was a fluke. We will send you another. July that ring died I reached out and my warranty was up. They couldn’t do anything to help me.
Response time
It’s an elegant app - with a lot of potential that I am not presently using - but hope to do so Meanwhile, your responses could certainly be better I been asking for my supply of devices and it shouldn’t be taking this long I think I have only four more days to go before replacement is needed Please be kind enough to revert soonest as to when I can expect to receive my consignment Thanks
Bad Trade-in Value. Not Pleased with AI Customer Service + Actual Customer Service from Human
Ring worked well until updates. I purchased end of November 2024, it worked fine until beginning of January 2026. Now I'm constantly having battery and hardware issues despite the app saying everything is working properly. Contacted customer support numerous times and the only solution is for a $85 trade in for the pro version. I paid approximately $400 for this ring, it should not be dying after a few hours and it can never connect to the app. Always dropping connection and once the connection drops, no data is captured. Even after putting the ring onto the charger when it claims it's run out of battery, the battery seems to jump to 74% and again no data captured. All of these issues started in 2026.
Great until battery issues started
I loved this ring so much. As a night shift worker it helped track my sleep stats and gave me tips to improve. The app is very organized and easy to understand. I will say I’ve had the ring a little less than 1.5 years and it already started to have battery issues. My ring won’t last 8 hrs now my sleep isn’t being track as accurate. I talked to the team and they can’t issue a replacement anymore. If you do decide to try it out definitely get the insurance or look into other rings without so many battery issues

Not so good
While there have been some recent improvements and enhancements to the app, this latest iteration aesthetically is just ugly, clunky and not intuitive. I really wish you’d consider changing things back. Beyond this, around 6 weeks ago after a firmware update, my ring which is 7 months old went from holding a charge on average from 3-4 days to less than 24 hours. Support was no help and now I have to charge my ring more than I get to wear it. And yes, I use chill mode and always have. What was a useful tool now has become something that’s not mow due to the charging issue and now the abysmal looking app. Just waiting for my ring to die it’s slow death so I can go purchase an Oura which I should’ve just done to begin with.
Ultrahuman
The smart alarm isn’t so smart after all. It allows only one alarm to be activated at a time. Which means if i want a wakeup schedule for mon-fri and different for sat-sun, i am unable to. There are so many use cases where users may want multiple alarms, but the smart alarm lacks those features.
Worst customer service
At first I loved this ring and how much data it provided. However, the longevity of the ring is not acceptable for the price. Battery life, inaccurate sleep data, not collecting steps or exercises were constant but my biggest issue is the customer service. They are unreliable and even if you have cases that are escalated, they don’t get back to you. Id recommend any other smart ring for this reason alone as technical issues happen but lack of support makes this brand not reliable.
Incorrect sleep tracking
The ring does not correctly detect when I go to sleep, which makes the sleep data inaccurate. I contacted customer support, but unfortunately they were unable to resolve the issue. Very disappointing for such an expensive device.

I really like my Ultrahuman ring and it is a great alternative to other rings but I hate how much AI they’re pushing through this app.
The app works well, customer service is a different story.
It is absolutely impossible to get in touch with the customer service Incase India. They email after 3-5 days and when you respond, they take another 3-5 days to respond. Absolutely pathetic to deal with.
Great ring with minor bugs
I like this ring and it is accurate most of the time - I use it mostly for monitoring sleep. I got a new phone, however, and it no longer connects with bluetooth automatically. I have to manually connect every day.
Beyond Frustrated
I’m beyond frustrated with the hardware and software of Ultrahuman. I’ve had the ring for a little over a year and already needed a replacement and two firmware resets. I started off having a good experience and even recommended the product to multiple family members. Additionally, about a month ago my ring just stopped working and support made me do a battery drain and checked on things and ultimately I was approved for another ring. While waiting for my new ring to arrive, all my data has been lost with no response to why and no resolution. I asked for a tracking number on my shipment and was told it was shipped to the wrong address and now my case is being circulated again for review because apparently there is no real tracking of support cases and no accountability. Lastly, the basic period tracking is terrible. There is a paid version that apparently has all the features that I would expect for a product like this. While I understand that premium features can help support product development, I don’t think women’s health insights should require an additional fee. This feature addresses a biological need that only women experience, so placing it behind a paywall means only one segment of your user base is asked to pay extra for health information that is fundamental to understanding their bodies. That doesn’t feel like an equitable approach. Overall I would not recommend this product, app, or company and I wish I had never chosen to purchase Ultrahuman or refer the product to family.
Ring is great, glucose monitoring not avail in Canada.
The ring itself and the data it brings is great, I really like the interface and the sleep data works well. It’s comfortable to wear and sizing is a good fit, even with smaller fingers. I also appreciate the fact that this ring does not require a subscription to work and provide a great amount of information. This said, it does not include glucose monitoring. This is a paid subscription service. To which I paid for, all to be told after the fact that said service is not available in Canada. Had to contact Apple for a refund, as Ultrahuman chat support claimed they cannot refund on the original payment method (CSR wanted in-depth banking info.? Account number, bank, swift, amongst other private financial details.) Very odd. Please review and modify this process. There’s zero reason for this.
What happened??
My ring was working great, albeit with not great battery life, but then the latest update absolutely nerfed my ring and now I can’t get it to connect at all.
Ring stops connecting after version update
I have used Ultrahuman ring for a month without any issues . How ever after the current version update , ring stops connecting. Support asks me to follow a 5 day process where I need to drain the battery completely and then charge it to full. Looks like this needs to be done once every 2 months . If this does not work , we are eligible for replacement . I got one such replacement

Not sold in the US
I did all the research and right at time of placing order the AI tells me the item is not sold in the US. This would be really helpful to disclose when the website specially has an area for the US. Very frustrating.
Ultra human ring
I purchased my ring it’s comfortable and I like the it is free subscription. I have had some connection issues however, have experienced really good customer service whereby my ring has been replaced.
Slow performing app and unpleasant onboarding experience
I bought two Ultrahuman Rings on May 14. One sizing kit reached us promptly on May 16. Since the rings were for two different people, we were able to use the same kit to finalize both sizes comfortably. Unfortunately, the app experience has been frustrating: 1. The app never reflected that the sizing kit had been delivered. 2. The delivery milestone bottom sheet is extremely slow. I timed it multiple times, and it takes anywhere between 1 min 25 sec to 2 min 11 sec to load, with no loading indicator or feedback while waiting. 3. Even after submitting our sizes, the app only updated on May 22 after I contacted support via email, which redirected me to WhatsApp. I still don’t know whether another sizing kit is being shipped, which I do not want. For a product centered around performance and optimization, the app experience needs to be faster, clearer, and more proactive, especially for a purchase worth ~₹25,000.
Good but needs improvement
I love the Ultrahuman data, and that’s why I selected this brand over the competitors after doing a ton of research, but their equipment needs serious improvement. I’ve been with UH for 10 months and have gone through 4 rings now. With no fault to me, the wearer, the rings sensors or batteries only last ~2 months each. I simply wear my ring 24/7 to track my workouts, recovery, sleep, and body temperature. I lose roughly a week of data every time my ring sensors or battery starts to go due to charging multiple times a day or dying before the replacement arrives. This consistently interrupts my tracking, which is frustrating considering I need to wear to get full insight. The customer service is great, and I always get replacements, but they can never answer what they are doing to improve their ring function and performance. If this continues on this trend with no improvement, I will unfortunately be looking into other ring brands.
