Incredible app, thank you!
I use this app to gauge how ready I am to train for the day. Really helps quantify how I’m feeling. All of the metrics in the app are helpful and clear. UX/UI is top notch. Very grateful this exists.
Greedy corporation turned it into a subscription
This app used to be free to use. The current owners bought it and immediately turned it into an overpriced subscription and added ai nobody wanted. Such a shame
Love the app, small bug
Been using the app for a few days and I think it’s great. But I’ve noticed when I enter caffeine in the journal it consistently adds two entries within a couple minutes when I only enter one
seems of false advertising
Why does it say completely free in the photos on top but then the app wants you to pay a subscription?

Two Watches Please
I wear a separate Apple watch to bed at night, and then put on another Apple watch when I wake up. BodyState fails to see my sleep score. Can you fix that?
Used to be great
This app used to be amazing, I mainly use it for the widget on my Apple Watch and a widget on my phone screen. Both of these previously updated themselves and clearly background refreshed (i think in the early days of BodyState I paid for this feature as a one off payment.) However, over the last few months I now have to click the widgets for them to refresh and the whole app just seems to be generally slower whilst opening. What’s changed?
I love this app but…
This app is so helpful I haven’t been getting the proper amount of sleep which has been putting my body through stress. Update: Lately I have been having to refresh my app constantly because my BodyState number hasn’t been updating on my widget whether on my phone or on my Apple watch especially my stress score I think it’s a glitch. Idk what is going on with BodyState but once they fix this I will put the 5 stars back.
My favorite body score app
This is by far the most accurate “body battery” score I’ve used and takes into account more metrics than Apple itself uses for Sleep Score (which is wildly inaccurate). I get everything I need within the free features without needing to purchase more. Tik Tok app recommendation steered me right for once!
Uninstalling
App was great. Something changed and now it’s not worth it. The “continue bug” ruins the experience. Fix the bugs and maybe users come back.
Body battery indeed
Having this helps me to keep track of my body better. Who needs to guess with spoons when you have a number based on your vitals. The only thing I don’t like is that every time you open the app you have to hit continue to see your number.
Not Free
Downloaded it went through all the prompts and it wasn’t free. You can do a 7 day trial, but don’t forget to cancel if you don’t want to continue use… currently $3 a month isn’t bad but if u have other expense this is not worth it!

Downright amazing how rapidly an app can go from sugar to sheeet after the original dev sells. The resulting acquisition ‘tude ensures flights to Athlytic, Bevel, or others. What a pity, but hey, good while if lasted.

Whenever I open the app now, I have to press “Continue” and wait a few seconds before I see anything.
Sync issues
Constantly doesn’t sync with the iPhone and need to open the iPhone app and doesn’t change from 0% after sleeping
Awesome App
Caught some talk about this app on Reddit and have not been disappointed. Use it in combination with the Apple Health app and it really helps me understand my body state each day for my runs.
Apps gone down the tubes
Why do we need a blinding white screen every time we open the app and why do we need to press “Continue” to get rid of it? I find myself just not opening the app ever since I don’t want to be blinded.
Very practical App
I really love the design. The only thing that’s bugging me is that it only takes the activity data from workouts. I usually forget to record my workouts so it isn’t collecting the data. But besides that it’s an great app
Was useful, ruined by paywall and AI
Admittedly I was a light user of the app. I liked the ability to see a dashboard of my vitals and see the trends on a chart. At that it did its job well and I needed nothing more. Now anything useful for me is behind a paywall and “AI” is crammed in. I don’t need a bot nor do I need to spend $260 per year just to view a chart. There is no world where this app is worth $5 a week or $50 per year. Time to look somewhere else.
Really good value but frustrating launch screen
The app could be 5* but that launch screen is doing my head in. Have to hit continue every time I open the app.

Never Provides Resulte
Each morning this app has one outcome or none.. very frustrating. No clue how it can have that result when I wear my watch while sleeping.

Gibt anhand von ein paar wenigen Körper Daten einen netten Überblick das wohlbefinden. Allerdings funktioniert in letzter Zeit die Synchronisierung mit der AW nicht mehr zuverlässig. Man muss die app am Handy regelmäßig öffnen.
New IAPs, lost my support
Features that were standard are now locked behind a paywall. The data comes from Apple health mostly, so why pay the extra just to see it in a different app? It’s a shame cause it is a good concept

Sold to a greedy owner
This app used to be great. But it appears to have been sold to a company who is only interested in adding subscription fees to everything and has completely given up on development. The app has gone downhill and is not worth it at all. Look elsewhere.
Nice but interpretation could be better
Nice looking and with a great UI. Handy being able to ask the AI questions as well. However it could be better at recognising fatigue and not suggesting exercise when you already feel exhausted. Great visual design though

Had the app and used it when it was offered for free. Apparently it sold, so now less features and costs $. No thanks. Too bad a good thing was ruined.

I’ve been using the app for a few months and it has seriously improved over that time, it’s really useful in tracking the state of my body. It’s very well laid out and full of interesting and pertinent health data. It also has some of the best widgets you can get! Loved this app but now it’s way way too much money. Ruined. Delete.

Don’t ruin this app
What is going on with this intrusive subscription page? Honestly this used to be an easy recommendation, but I don’t know anymore with new sync issues and pricing. Please remember what made this app great & stop changing it for the worse.

A great app that condenses the info in Apple health into an easy to understand layout.
Worse under corporate ownership
The original indie developer who wrote BodyState made a great app and built a community that attracted the corporate parasite owners who purchased it. Like all parasites, they immediately proceeded to extract money and reduce value. Excessive subscriptions far in excess of the app’s value. A loading screen every time you open the app to make sure you’ve paid that introduces so much unnecessary friction into the user experience that I’m writing a review to help other users know this was a good app, but not worth the download anymore.

It could use some more metrics and information explain what we are looking at and how our bodies are effected.
Very colorful
I really enjoy using this app. The interface is clean, colorful, and easy to understand, which makes checking my stats quick and intuitive. I like how it presents body battery and stress data in a simple way that’s actually useful day to day. It’s become a regular part of my routine and helps me stay more aware of how my body is doing. Solid app overall.
New subscription
I was an early adopter and with the new update, all the features I was using are now locked behind a paywall. Uninstalled.
Gives good information
This gives a chunk of the Garmin data I wish I had as an Apple Watch user. It’s not quite the same but it is a great step forward.

Broken after update
Been using this app for awhile without issue, and the ATL measurement I normally find super helpful. After installing the new update and loading it the day after not wearing my watch to sleep, it seems to have lost all my data entirely. It used to cope fine with me not wearing my watch to sleep now and again, and would still record and display other data. Not sure what’s changed.
