Perfect App For Health Conscious Users
This app is genuinely the best health app out of every single one i have come across. It can replace your calorie tracker, workout tracker, sleep tracker, stress tracker, body battery tracker, etc. and it will connect everything to your apple health essentially creating a 24/7 health monitoring ecosystem that adapts to you and your habits as they change. This is unbelievably revolutionary if you are looking to be more proactive about your health and the best part is every feature i mentioned is included with the free version. I never write reviews for apps but Bevel has honestly changed my life. 10/10
False advertising
The app try’s to do too much. A 7 day trial isn’t enough time to get the full experience. Also they need to stop the false advertising saying “Bevel is now free” it’s not free. If it was free there wouldn’t be a subscription option…
An sich tolle App: ABER
Die App an sich finde ich sehr sehr stark, das Ernährungs Tracking mit KI aber auch generell bei der manuellen Eingabe bzw Barcode Erfassung lässt noch zu wünschen übrig, daher muss ich paralell mit Yazio tracken damit meine Daten auch übereinstimmen

Data rarely syncs like it supposed too. Just go buy a whoop and be done with it.
Ai is ok
The part of this app that kills me is if I don’t have my Apple Watch on right away when in bed the app thinks I’m not asleep and my scores plummet. The Apple Watch needs to charge so most of the time I will be in bed and wake up and put it on after an hour or so. Feels like artificial intelligence, a combination of past data and my Apple sleep data should be able to estimate when I’m in bed and resting. This would be a more accurate representation of my data and not pluming my score.

AI not great
Initially suggested a 3100 calorie program for a bulk, even though I told it several times that would not be enough. I then dropped weight because I decided to try to follow that plan. It never wants you to train full intensity, and is incredibly annoying about it.
Android and iPad
Loved it when I had an iPhone, really useful for Garmin but no longer iPhone so I can’t use it and the iPad version is currently just the iPhone one stretched.
Good but very buggy
Don’t wake up in the middle of the morning and go back to bed because Bevel will not realize that you went back to sleep at all when other apps like autosleep have no problem. The troubleshooting to fix this is like jumping through hoops and even after you do it nothing changes. This app is way too. nuch work. Needs much overhauling.
So Close to 5 Stars, Just Needs an iPad App!
Almost 5 stars out of 5, but you really need to make an iPad app as well and sync all the data! Please, please, please! Sometimes I need to log my food and macros from my iPad too. Thanks heaps!
My favorite app of all time
I’m not exaggerating on this one. Bevel is my favorite app that I’ve ever used. Better than any Apple-made utility, better than any game. In fact, it’s like it turns my health into a game. My wife and I compare recovery scores, thanks to family sharing. The Apple Watch integration and app are seamless. The AI workout generator delivers every time. My AI coach’s check-ins on fitness and sleep help me make steady progress. 6 out of 5 stars.
Not free
I downloaded after seeing an advertisement saying free. Thought that would have paid options. However the first thing it wanted was $$. Closed the app since I couldn’t find a let me explore the free first, or the standard x. Reopened to find absolutely nothing is available to do without paying. Everything was greyed out. You might have been able to convince me to pay your sub, had I been able to see and experience the app to find a value to it in my life. Too many apps these days want your payment info and still charge after the ‘free week’ after cancellation. Good luck.
Love the insight - AI needs more work
The app is great. It tracks so much and has been a huge help with keeping me on track with my overall health and goals. However the AI bot tends to mess up sometimes. Often it is messing up my sleep hours by a couple hours. When you call it out it responds back with the correct sleep time and admits that it is glitching. Hoping they get this fixed.
Potential but not there yet
Has potential but syncing from apple health etc is awful, has all permissions etc yet doesn’t sync heart rate or anything despite me following all trouble shoot advice. No simple way to just add a recipe I need to either describe it, photograph it etc and it’s never accurate

Very useful
There are not many apps that I find myself using everyday. Multiple times per day, I find myself excited to open Bevel and gain new insights. It has dramatically changed my perception about my wellbeing. Overall there is still room for improvement within the App, but I still find using it indispensable. I have already recommended it to multiple friends and family.
Not Free
They tell you their service is free until after you sign up and then it is only a 7 day trail period, and they make it hard to cancel the service.
At the moment I love this app
This app at the moment is so good a few minor issues but all in all I love it it gives you a good size picture of how you’re working your body every day the coach keeps you motivated and let you know if you need to up your game a little it even tells you when you need to rest after a workout it keeps your nutritional information that you’ve used before logged so if you’re A same every day eating person you don’t have to write it to every day cause it’s already there it also has a full list of workouts in all different strengths so you don’t have to do it manually. You just take a box and it’s already there all you do is add your reps and your weight. I feel my only issue with the app is maybe the step count is a bit high and I think the calories out might be a bit inaccurate, but as long as you know what you’re doing it it’s very good. Keep this up. This is amazing.
Useless for Shiftworkers

Important Point
Apple Watch complications do NOT populate unless you have BOTH the app on your phone AND your watch open at the same time. The app is stellar, but there’s no point in having the watch complications if you already have the app open on your phone. Per Support, this is a feature Bevel is working on. Love everything else. 😁
Best of both worlds
The fact I use a FitBit Air and an Apple watch. It synchronizes data from both devices and simplifies it in a more polished manner than Apple’s Health and Google’s native apps. I just wish it could be a one time purchase rather than subscription based. The main reason why I didn’t get a Whoop device. The free version of this app is still better than most.
Is this free or not?
I was reading before downloading. It stated free version unless you upgrade to pro version. I downloaded and it says only free for 7 day trial. I wanted to try for a while before paying for pro. Why the bait & switch ? Is it possible to try for free on a longer trial?
Great but Ads said free?
Enjoying the trial version, different way to seeing my data from Garmin and food tracking had been good too. Seeing Ads saying now free without AI, could be a good option maybe, but app does not show that. So either false advertising or not available for me or UK?
Scam
Just 2 days ago I saw an ad that mentioned that this app is free and now that I’ve installed it , it asks me to subscribe so honestly it doesn’t make any difference.

Really useful app
This app is great if you have an apple watch, garmin, or oura ring and want to be on top of your sleep, strain, recovery and stress. My first thought was to get a whoop when I decided to track my workouts and recovery, but as I did my research I learned pretty quickly that that is not a company I want having my data. Bevel does practically the same job but they actually also track your calorie intake and give you insights based on your workouts, recovery, trends, and what you eat as well as pulling data from different sources to give you more accurate feedback. It’s helped me a lot in the 2 weeks i’ve been using it for and I might upgrade to the paid version soon

Brilliant app ON IPHONE
I absolutely love this app if has changed my life but i wish it loaded faster on the Apple Watch but still the main issue is the fact it isn’t fully compatible with iPad but overall is 5 stars just please fix these issues
It’s okay but the food feature is garbage
So it’s a decent app in that it can read your health data and helps determine your stress levels, when to rest, when you can push. If you pay the subscription you get the AI but that’s the only true feature you get with paying, the rest of the paid features aren’t worth the cost. However, the food logging feature is garbage. You scan foods and 9 out of 10 times the nutrition values are wrong. It’s not easy to change the foods and you can’t share recipes. You can’t even specify a what a serving is on custom recipes, just horrible. It’s a good concept but needs a lot of work on the UX.
I really want this to work!
I like the idea of this app. I really want it to work! But I am constantly correcting it, particularly when it comes to logging food and water consumption. I will tell it I drank a litre of water. It tells me congrats. Then it tells me that I’ve only had a cup of water today so get on it. Then I correct it. Then a little while later it tells me I’ve only had a cup of water today. Argh It seems like there is a connection missing between short and long term memory. Another example - I told it I walk my dog every night. Then I said I was going on vacation for two weeks without my dog. Yet every night of my vacation it asked if I was walking my dog. Even after I corrected it several times. Once these bugs are worked out this is going to be a great app. I can’t wait for that to happen.

If you use this, you’ll never workout.
This app just wants you to lay on the couch all day doing nothing. Go for a 2 mile run? Better take the week off. Compared to Garmin training readiness, this app sucks and is over tuned for wanting people to be lazy.
Good but not perfect
After some sync issues we are now back to normal. AI integration is ok, but keeps forgetting things and is sometimes completely out of wack. Overall I like the dashboards and recommendations. Food log really sucks and you should enable upload food from LoseIt! I don’t want to log twice and Bevel is too US focused when it comes to food logging.
Can’t rely on it
Paid for it for several months, and the bottom line is it can’t reliably do what it claims to do. The food logging is garbage. The “scores” and biological age it extrapolates are essentially nonsense. Logging information through Bevel Intelligence is pointless because it forgets or miscalculates the data on a daily basis (I’ve had 2000ml water, it’ll tell me I’ve had 375; I’ll log five cigarettes to track my nicotine intake, at the end of the day it’ll congratulate me on having no cigarettes today). I have Crohn’s and tried using Bevel to gain some insight into my patterns — the Intelligence made a conclusion early on about a supposed pattern and then argued against all new evidence it wasn’t actually accurate. It’ll make you feel like you’re gaining insight and control into your health, but it’s absolute nonsense, and unreliable too.
Too many bugs, too much lost data… Unsafe for me.
I’ve used Bevel for nearly a year and have just cancelled my subscription. It was great right up until it wasn’t… I don’t think it’s suitable for disabled or chronically ill people in the way it advertises. Bevel started losing data I had entered around food and water tracking, and because it wiped what I had entered it believed I had never entered it. This happened repeatedly. So I stopped using the Journal facility. It then stopped merging sleep sessions. This was a big issue as, due to disability and injury, I have episodes of wakefulness at night. Despite manually setting to merge sessions (and Apple Health merging the sessions), Bevel couldn’t do it. The AI said it sent urgent fix reports for nearly 2 weeks but no response. This meant all the data the app was working with was incorrect. So recovery, battery, HRV - everything was inaccurate because the overnight measurements were incomplete. Some nights it said I had slept for an hour (when actually I’d slept for 7) and my Apple sleep scores were consistently 4 or 5 times what Bevel was scoring. The final straw was when the AI checked its logs and let me know that - despite being asked for overnight SpO2 alerts below 95% - it had failed to alert me to 3 extended episodes of 88% O2 (which is hypoxemia and a big red flag for me) and 7 more episodes of 91-92%. Not getting the warning meant I didn’t seek medical help early and got quite unwell. If I hadn’t trusted Bevel I would have been checking with Apple Health and caught this sooner. Before the issues started this year, it had helped me with summarising symptoms and getting questions ready for my doctors. It also prompted me to get medical attention for what turned out to be complex spinal issues. That’s why I still put 3stars despite the recent catastrophic failures. In summary: If you’re fit and healthy, you aren’t worried about data being lost and/or don’t need accurate tracking then this is great. The AI is very responsive and you can set a preferred personality type to interact with. If you’re happy spending £50 on a tracking system you need to double check, go for it. If you’re disabled or have a chronic health condition that you need to monitor accurately, avoid. It could put you at risk if you rely upon it and finding the energy to double check everything and then give evidence to the AI that it is in error is exhausting. Even without the safety issues, I don’t want to pay to argue with a robot.
Absolutely love this app
For many years I had a Fitbit. I recently upgraded to an Apple Watch 11, but wasn’t very convinced by the data I was getting from the Apple suite of fitness and health apps. For example, I fit that used to give me scores in the 70s for sleep whereas the Apple Watch would give me scores in the high 90s even on mornings when I woke up exhausted. I chatted with AI about whether I should switch to an aura ring or maybe a whoop band, but it suggested I try the Bevel app since my watch was collecting all the data I need, but I just wasn’t having it presented to me well by the Apple suite of apps. I first thought I would switch to the free version of Beville once the seven day trial was over, but after using the app for just three days, I was convinced I wanted to continue the annual subscription. The data, format, insights, and AI interaction inside the Bevel app is phenomenal. And it is extremely good at capturing calories and macros simply from the photos of my meals. I couldn’t be more satisfied with this app.

Facebook ad said it’s now free. Laughable since the first thing that happened was this app wanted me to subscribe for 99.00 for a year. F off, seriously.
Great health assistant
It’s great, but… food entry could be better. You have to run food entry by AI or some processing each time, I eat a lot of the same stuff so I should be able to quickly added repetitive food items quite quickly and easily. Saying this though the insight and AI overviews are great and have helped me uncover how bad my rest and recovery has been
Not great
I think the app may work for those people who have plenty of time and nothing to do. It will not work for busy mums who just want things done and for things to work. If I am being asked to pay £99 per year at least I would assume this app is integrated with some other health nutrition data on my watch or phone. It is not. It feels very much like I am beta testing an app for someone only I have to pay for it too. Many features don’t work. Nutrition is the main one that interests me - and it does not display correctly. Some sections contains nothing at all and despite the premium version / nutrition score features are still locked. Since I was logging my food in another app (like MyFitnessPal or MacroFactor), Bevel pulled in the nutrient totals but didn’t see individual food entries. Nutrition Score" stays pending and it sends those generic reminders and announcement I have not logged any food. Because of this rest of the app is not working correctly. Glitch after glitch. I enjoyed some of the features, including bevel intelligence - however if you are planning to charge such large amount - please spend time on the app and make it USER FRIENDLY - not a DEVELOPER FANCY. Please ask busy mums or dads with children and ple ty of things to do in a day - to road test your app and give you honest feedback and point out issues where features are over complicated to work or enter and time consuming. None has time to enter laborious amount of details life is too short and there are other easier apps. Work together, on data integration and simplifying it for the users. Maybe next year when you will work on it and improve it you can charge the amount you are asking - but in my opinion you are still far off

Never wrote a review before but this app is best and so easy all in one package, so convenient, I look forward to using this app everyday, I never tracked my fitness and nutrition before because you would have to use different apps first different things and would still have some issues. Bevele interface is so easy and best part is you dont have to pay
Disappointed
I had high hopes, but after multiple attempts at troubleshooting, I’ve been unable to get information from my Apple Watch to sync to the app and get any metrics. Paid for a subscription and the app wont pull in any info from the watch. I’ve asked for help from the AI on the app as week. Followed the directions multiple times to no avail.

Great but not for food logging
I’ve become really dependent on Bevel, and I really like it for most things BUT the food logging aspect is garbage. I use another app for that because it’s so bad but Bevel will only link for calories and macros through Apple Health so I only get part of the picture. Such a shame. Great app otherwise but needs SIGNIFICANT work on the food tracking element before I’ll consider renewing the annual fee.
The Swiss Army knife of fitness
Absolutely addicted to using this tool. Avid endurance athlete in running , cycling , MTB and a number of other genres. This tool handles all of it and more. I was using a custom tool I built was Claude for deeper analysis. This tool has matured to the point that’a no longer needed. Thanks Bevel team! Keep up the amazing work.
Misleading
They have an Instagram Ad gloating over how the app is free because “health should be free” but when you download the app, BAM there’s the paid monthly subscription. The AD even has comments of how ‘awesome it is to have a free health app’. They probably paid bots to lie
So far pretty good.
Very well executed overall. Logging food is still tedious and slow. A web interface would help there. I would love a web ui so I can use it anywhere in fact. Conversations are slow to type on the phone and the speech recognition is also painfully laggy compared to ChatGPT and Claude etc. The advice it gives has worked so far and I’m happy to stick it out for the year to see how it evolves.
Missing the most important feature
This app is an ai health coach that doesn’t generate a plan for calorie deficit?????? What’s the point of having an automated ai program following biometrics and food logging but not provide a simple calorie limit for weight loss? Save your time and use lose it
This really has potential to be amazing!
So far I am really enjoying using this app. It’s helpful and informative and gathering all health stats etc into one place is great. The only problem I have with this app overall is the price they charge to use everything needed within it, it’s just far too much of a price to pay when all of the features are available for free elsewhere. If the price was a reasonable and fair amount then I would probably give it the full 5 stars. Until then, I will stick at a star
