Useful utility
With so many fitness apps out there, this utility was incredible at getting everything synced together, and keeping it synced!
Monthly fee to write to apps
Not clear before download that it cost $14/mo to write data to Apple Health. The only reason I was interested was to write to Apple Health but not at that cost.
Does what it does
…as long as you put in proper settings, some glitch from Strava to Garmin
A bit useless now
I’ve been using this as app for years, I love the quick filter option and how I can choose when I upload to Strava, but they’ve removed the option to share runs natively on what’s app /sms
Garmin connection broken
Garmin connection is broken and unable to sync to Garmin Connect.
The best! Fixes all the sync challenges!
I am not some super athlete but just a guy that likes to track my movement and exercise. I want to have data to spot trends and for who knows what in the future. The software of many devices frequently support synching with one another, or even with Apple Health. I use three devices and/or systems - Polar Flow, Concept 2 and Apple Health. Some of those support syncing to one, but not the others. Some support syncing but it’s frequently unreliable and just stops working. Run Gap to the rescue - I know have all the sync capabilities in those three system disabled and I use Run Gap as the orchestrator - pulling data from all three and synching it around to the others. It supports so many more systems that I don’t use too. This app is wonderful.
Very misleading
This app forces you to pay before it allows you to write in other apps.
Works great
Does what it’s supposed to
I want this to work
Good in concept, but hard to use and I can’t get it to work :/
A needed kludge
All these connections between different fitness stuff drives us all nuts - RunGap helps bridge the gap for maximum analysis.
Full control and insights
Great app for managing all your sources of workout data, and providing more details/insights on your activity. This app makes importing from Garmin to Apple less tricky

Too expensive now for occasional use.
I was an occasional user to import a cropped workout from Strava back to Apple Health because I forgot to stop recording, maybe a couple of times per year. I know developing software is expensive, I get it. But for the amount of value I get out of this app, for me personally, £15 per year is 3-5x more than what I’d be willing to keep paying, with no option for a lifetime purchase. I’ll be looking for alternative approaches now instead. If you’re someone who uses this as an important regular part of their fitness workflow then maybe it would be worth the money, but unfortunately that’s not me. And it’s not like the app has changed significantly since I started using it 15 months ago, but the yearly price has increased 50%.

Won’t stop trying to log into other apps.
It won’t shut down.
RunGap product and support
I have been using RunGap on and off for about 8 years now I think and the product have really grown to address the many needs of their clients. Support has always been top notch with excellent communication and feedback when needed.
Consistency is poor
Consistently dropped connection to wahoo and Garmin
No longer working
Latest update has made app unusable
Great App - But Restricts Activities
I have been using this application for years. I started recording an activity with two devices this year (on different services) and found out it will not show both because they start too close to each other. Seems like this decision should be up to the user.
broken
doesnt work with adidas app. Keeps saying to create account on runtastic.com which is also not possible any more.
Great App!
Great app. Simple to use. Bridges the gap for data uploads between various apps. Also, customer support is wonderful.
Disgusting Segregation policy
Positive review is currently unavailable from your region. Greetings from Russia. Slava России!!
Wattbike
Hi, Could you please add Wattbike into the accounts? Thank you, Great app by the way.
No sleep data
Unfortunately, the export of sleep data from Apple Health to Garmin is not supported. The operation, especially the setting of what should be exported from where to where without the activities appearing twice, is not intuitive.
Payed to import to apple health 😑
It’s a good app but I wish it were free to import to apple health
Excellent application
If you are looking for an app that sync all activities across workout equipment. This is it !
Why make me pay monthly?
I’m surprised this isn’t a one time payment. I also gave in and paid for it to port over the gps info for a run from Apple health and it still didn’t work. Seems like a one-off but really disappointing. I used an Apple Watch Ultra 3 and an iPhone 15 Pro Max at full battery and it was a normal route for the run.
Working Awesome!
I use it for iFit and Wahoo to dump the files to Garmin for tracking
Does not work
Can not sync data to Garmin Connect. Experimental but not even close. That was the reason I got this app. Does not work.
Apps works with some quirks - please add an evaluation sync option
I tried this app to push Apple Health data into Garmin. I bought a subscription, got the sync working, but found my Garmin will not sync older activities so I deducted a star. Also basic metrics like steps from Apple Health are not syncing with activities. This seems more a Garmin limitation than an app problem. I have 3 months left on subscription but will likely not renew if I cannot get steps to sync. I also deducted another star due to lack of sync test option (even partial) to test sync function without being forced to buy a subscription.
love love love!
love is all i have for this app! very happy with it and its support (:
Garmin doesn’t work
Garmin integration repeatedly fails and has done so for over a month!
Great Apps but does not support 2FA
Does not support 2FA in most useful integration (missing a * for that as it leaves your data a bit less secure)
Garmin to Apple not great
I bought this specifically to sync garmin data to Apple Health. About half of the step data is missing.
sync’s but doesn’t really “sync”
it copies rides over but doesn’t integrate it in the your daily stats - for example a karoo ride sync’d to garmin connect , garmin doesnt include it the same as if you recorded on a garmin device - it just shows up in your feed. Kind of useless.
Great App
Love this app! I have an Apple Watch and it seamlessly integrates with Garmin Connect and Strava. It transfers my runs and workouts to both of those apps with literally no effort on my part. A++++++
Buggy paid software
Always trying to import every 30s no matter what. When it imports a run from Apple, instead of giving it a generic title for the run, it uses a custom title from 8 months ago, for every run imported
Does what it needs to
After paying for the service, it’s actually a really great app, highly comprehensive, and provides more tools than one would use. it’s not designed the best, in terms of the look, or ease of use. Took a day of using it between my Apple workouts, NikeRunClub and Strava for me to figure it out - not hard just not super easy as many apps are. The UI could be refined and made more simpler for new users. All in all, I’m happy :)
I don’t want to give up but
Every time there is an update I have to figure out how to sync with Polar Flow and apple health and Nike Run Club and with this latest update I can’t get it to work. It would be nice if it came with instructions! Not sure where I’m the long chain things are going wrong. I know it’s mainly Nike’s fault but when I go to the trouble to pay for a third party like rungap I would appreciate more support to get it working. And to not have to repeat the process every few months.
App hangs
I import from SUUNTO and Peloton which hangs the app. I can do one or the other which isn’t what I am looking for
Awesome
It really works! Easy to setup and keep all your workouts logged.
Your data will not be safe
Your data will not be safe
Friend Feed
Can't view my nike+ friends activity in the friend feed, otherwise 5 stars!
Extra cost on new version
I had paid my annual subscription only to be promoted mid subscription for a new paid tier to keep using functionality I previously had.
Handy
I do like it but I wish it would move workouts over as what they are. I use it to move from Peloton to Strava to Garmin, most things move over as a Gym activity. I wish it would move over as Strengrh like it is. I have to go in adjust all strength and stretching workouts
Exquisite
Works flawlessly Apple → Garmin, and Garmin → Apple. G VivoActive 6, Apple SE 3. I’d like to clone this Dev’s class and skill to sprinkle over the dunderHeads here masquerading as developers. (Yes, I loathe subs, but I adore competence. So I pay w a smile.)
Paywalled everything
Used to be a good app that did all you needed. Now it’s all paywalled like everything else. I’ll go back to manual import. RunGap was nice to have, but not critical
Good
Polar?
Even with update runkeeper still not working
I just did the update and still cannot get into runkeeper. Something is still wrong.
Used to love this app
Recently it had stopped syncing and downloading from my running app to Strava. Now I’m sad 😔
