ALO app is a game changer
Finding out that this app has free classes on it was so helpful for me. For a girl who is learning more about strength training and on a strict budget this app came to my rescue. So many classes, so many different types of movement. Thank you ALO!!
This was my favorite app
I used this app since 2020 almost daily. I was more than happy to pay for it, it was worth my money, I loved the classes, the UI was clean and I appreciated I could access my account from anywhere. Ever since it switched to the free model, my classes crash or freeze every few minutes. It has rendered the app unusable for me. :(
Amazing app but wish it was compatible with TVs
Love the workouts and highly recommend. My only complaint is that it is not compatible with my TV screen sharing or Apple TV
Great Classes, Casting Function Unusable
I love the classes. Honestly they are incredible and there’s a ton of variety. For whatever reason, the app will not cast to my smart tv. I’ve reset my phone, I’ve adjusted all the settings. No trouble shooting will allow the videos to cast to my tv, despite never having problems with any other apps on my phone. I go to the web browser on my phone and cast the videos from there. Would love to be able to use the app but it’s essentially useless at this point so I’ll be deleting.
Can’t Airplay to TV
I use the website instead of the app because the app does not have an option for AirPlay to my TV. Love the workouts and classes. I hope that they add this feature in the next update so I can use the app instead of the website.

It came around nicely during the pandemic and really just saved the day — prior to that I had both yoga studio and equinox memberships lol. I’ve just continued my alo moves subscription since and credit the app coming during a time of isolation for improving my personal yoga and general fitness practice :) And yes the instructors are all top notch - some of whom I knew and whose live classes I had attended! Love it. Just keep adding class and don’t stop what y’all are doing. Thanks, Alo!
App is Broken
unfortunately after their new update to the “wellness club” the app glitches massively and it’s not possible to open it anymore. Been using this program for well over 5 years and never had an issue until now. Alo has been taking some major downgrades over the years but this has to top it.
Love this space
For years this has been my go-to for a reset or tune up in my practice through various stages in my body’s life journey. I wish it was still accessible through Apple TV-hope that can soon be enabled again, but overall I’m grateful this exists and think of it as a cozy yoga library with hits from my history years ago that I can feel comfort is revisiting like an old book, while knowing I can discover more if I’d like.
Doesn’t log classes
As a paid up user for a few years now it is frustrating that if you cast to a TV from the app it doesn’t record any as completed. Mine shows nothing since I started in 2022. I have to ‘log’ classes to keep a record. Annoying.
Lost all but the last 30 days of my history!
No saved videos, no history beyond 30 days. What a disappointment! I had years of history!
First time user
I can’t believe this app is free I have been looking to find more new exciting and challenging yoga classes and this app hit all of the marks I was looking for plus the yoga instructors are awesome. The app’s in-use interface though could be a little smoother but all in all FANTASTIC!
WHY WAS MY ACCOUNT DELETED?!
Seriously, i bought a subscription this August, from what it looked like I wasn’t qualified for a refund, today I try to log in and it says - email not found in records?! Even with ‘forgot password’ and whatnot, no success! And your customer support takes so long! I get it, there is no more subscription, but what about my playlists that I was gathering all this time?! 0 respect!
Lots of options
This has tons of classes with excellent search capabilities. The instructors are excellent. I just wish there were some yoga classes that involved more movement. Even the ones that have titles like “fire” and “power” don’t move as much as a good power yoga classes would at a studio.
Very poorly instructed classes
I really wanted to love this app but the classes are horribly instructed with no additional reminders (eg: tuck your core, inhale exhale) that should definelty be included especially in a Pilates based app. There is also no music or if there is any it’s so faint that you cannot hear it which makes the class drag by even more slowly. I’ve tried the nike + app, and the peloton app which were both great and I will be switching back to peloton. The alo app feels like the instructor is rushing through the workout without explaining anything at all and feels like a guaranteed injury due the odd movements provided.

Terrible
Terrible customer service. App very glitchy. Couldn’t update my cc info. Contacted multiple times. And they canceled my membership and now are telling me I need to reinstate at the new price.
Love the workouts , okay music playlist
The workouts are great! I appreciate the instructors don’t talk too much with attempts at motivational story telling (like peloton). My only suggestion for change is the option to play your own playlist. Oh also can you make a TV app? Thanks!
Bad costumer service
I loved the app, the teachers and it’s content so much which makes it all the more saddening that the costumer service really isn’t up to par. I got ghosted last year by costumer service before they fixed the mirror screening issues in the app for Iphones and apple tv. I loved the content so much I let it slide. Got ghosted again by costumer service when my automatic membership didn’t renew automatically like it was supposed to. Sent multiple e-mails for follow ups with no reply. I had to spend 1h on the phone for costumer service to say that they CANCELLED MY ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION and won’t honor the membership price I had paid SINCE THEY HAVE A NEW ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP PRICE. Told me I could “lock in that new price forever”, which is what was written when I bought the membership in 2022… Legally, that’s kind of shaddy.
Awesome but…
Filter component needs to be more sophisticated. For example if I filter for barre, then why do I have to scroll through all instructors? I should only see barre instructors. Also, keep the yoga cult jargon out of other style workouts. Emily sierra is top notch barre instructor. Verbal cues are on point and the level of intensity and difficulty are properly matched for what the description of the workout says. Please up the game of other barre instructors. Serious barre fitness and serious dancers don’t want to have to filter through barre wanna be instructors. Stick to yoga or Pilates unless you have real training. Mathew F and Roxy J are the best strength training instructors. They don’t talk too much, they provide good coaching and they avoid all the Alo-yoga cult like chit chatty jargon and false motivational speech.
Best Fitness App
It has zero cons in my opinion no forced subscription. Just nice work out videos and I love the fact we can turn off the music that’s being played is such a positive. I also like the playlist feature too. Over all best workout app I have used and I totally recommend it to anyone.
Does not work
It does not cast properly and the appletv app does not work. Garbage.
Apple TV app no longer works
Used to love this app having subscribed for 3 years but I won’t be renewing. Trying to do too many things that I’m not looking for in my life from an app.
Disappointing for the value
The number of the exercises does not match the price (even the 40% off first year). Other well known brands are offering a similar app (maybe less number of videos) for free, so it’s not worth paying for this. Also many exercises start without warming up. Why wouldn’t they just add a quick warmup to complete the session?!
Removal of Apple TV support is such a disappointment
I have been subscriber of ALO moves for years, one of the massive benefits was to have an Apple TV support so I could have it conveniently on my big screen I the living room. Not sure what led to the decision but that was a very disappointing one

Useless
The app asks you to fill out a questionnaire but does not work past the 2nd question. Not sure what the point is if you can’t even get started.
Great but one small thing
I really love Alo moves but I wish I could make a playlist of classes on the app, instead of having to log into my desktop to do so. I mostly use it on the go and want to add videos to playlists then and there.
Mixed feelings
The workouts are super great, but the app is terrible. It doesn’t allow you to screen mirror or send to Apple TV. It cuts out. I have the free trial and everytime I click a new workout I have to resubscribe only for it to say I’m already subscribed and then it’ll work. I wish the app was better then I would consider getting it for good.
Love the App, wish it would cast to my TV
Trying to use with my Roku and it’s a nightmare. Very rarely casts or screen mirrors. Usually just get a black screen but when it does work it usually stops after the intro. Sick of having to watch on my phone screen. Is there a Roku app in the works or do you plan to change your DRM so that the app plays nicely with Roku?

I’ve been looking for an app for pilates and yoga videos but they have all been so expensive. This app is not only free but goes above and beyond including self-care and nutrition. I can’t say how grateful I am that this amazing app is free. I would recommend everyone to try it out!
No customer support
Purchased app, it’s not working so I wrote to there customer support many time. I’ve received no response. This app is expensive and for no support is super frustrating. I would love to use it specially how expensive it was to buy it.
Horrible user experience.
Have been using this app for years now and over the course of these years, the app hasn’t changed much, still horrible user experience, glitchy and filters don’t even work. I’m now in need of prenatal yoga/pilates classes but when I choose this style in filters it doesn’t even work, showing all other normal classes. Would love for you guys to invest some time and money in user experience and add more prenatal content. Thanks

Great work outs - app needs work
I’m subscribed but I have to hit unlock and subscribe. A notification appears saying I’m already subscribed once I close it I can hit play. Video freezes and doesn’t save to my library. I love the idea of total run time but it doesn’t calculate the few classes I’ve taken :(

I am obsessed with this app! So many workouts and so many trainers! Jade so far is my fave but I’m only on day 2!!
Apple TV
I used to like the classes but I just purchased an annual subscription and it won’t work on my Apple TV. Keeps saying login. Works fine on my phone.
Alo Moves
Alo has been my go to for strength, barre and general fitness for 3 years! The platform is user friendly, has great teachers and the best bit is not having to use precious time to travel to a gym or studio. Highly recommend for fitness. Unfortunately, the app has moved away from traditional yoga classes and in recent times very little new yoga content has been released. Recent yoga classes typically focus on toning, sizzling etc, rather than yoga. Sure, core strength is important in yoga but if you’re looking for a balanced yoga practice with a range of new classes I suggest looking at some of the other online yoga options available.
Frustrating Music Update!!!
Been a loyal AloMoves user for years! But I’m really not enjoying the recent update where I can’t play my own music over the top of classes anymore. The Feed.fm music selection is awful - you can’t even select a song you just have to listen to their chosen playlist for that class. And some classes have no music at all!!!! It’s so unenjoyable, especially when I’m using it in a loud busy gym and I just want to get in my own zone. PLEASE bring back the option to play Spotify alongside the classes again. I’m starting to look at competition and alternative platforms because of this

I love alo moves!! I love the classes!! This is 5 star except the AppleTV app doesn’t have filter options and recently all the open classes are missing!! I deleted and added back - same issue!! Please make AppleTV app the same as on my iPhone and iPad!

I’ve been trying for 2 months to cancel my membership and I can’t My app says that I cancelled but I’m still getting charged When you enter to the “manage my membership” page it never loads. It’s seems like a legit scam, please be careful
Payment options are confusing
I am curious the difference between the annual and the monthly. If you go month by month, you are saving more money than paying annually.
App is insufferable
Would be cool if you could look through the app more than 30 seconds without it crashing. You can’t click on classes or series, save or unsave them. Instead of coming out with more content, use the money to fix your app. You can’t look through it at all without it not working.

The yoga is great. The app sucks. The my practice portion of it is frequently unavailable and air dropping never works. Other apps do work with air drop, so it’s not on this end. Would be great if they’d fix these issues so we can actually enjoy the content.

Love the workouts app is not well made though
I love workouts and quality of instructors, but come on it is not the cheapest workout app the quality of how app is made is very bad. Always something not working, no proper way to create practices and even that simple my practice list does not work. Super annoying.

App freezes every single time. You need to constantly reboot it. You get to the class you want in the end, but it takes a while.
