Awful experience
Would be 0 stars. Made an expensive booking, they cancelled it just as the payment went though, without telling me, I wait at the airport all day, just for them to tell me it’s cancelled and I’ll receive my money back in 7-45 days, no off of help or anything. Won’t book with these again.
Very poor for a major airline
UPDATE: After initially rating this app as 1 star I am now changing my rating. After contacting TUI, who I booked the trip with, it transpires that I was unable to access the details as the flight tickets had not yet been allocated, despite me having booking references for both TUI and Etihad. Can I suggest that this is made clear by both companies? Now that I have access the app is very easy to navigate. INITIAL RATING: 1 STAR. Have been able to create an account, which in itself wasn’t easy, but still unable to locate my trip details or enter passport information.

While laid over in Abu Dhabi I go to a store and pull up the app to make a purchase and it says I have no future or past flights. Mind you I still have another 8hr flight ahead to complete my trip. Thankfully I had a paper ticket as well
Slow response time
The app lags a lot resulting in it being very slow. Whilst there’s lots of functions, it also doesn’t show basic information ie activity so one can’t follow whether flights miles have actually been credited.
Brilliant
App is easy to use and efficient to find anything you need. We have Judy transitted through Abu Dhabi we have just had a seamless flight from male to Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi to Manchester and we arrived home an hour earlier than scheduled. Fantastic service.
Disappointing
My flight from Warsaw was rescheduled significantly from 11:50 to 09:35, and operated by a different partner airline. They only let me know less than 7 days before the travel and my flight is now longer too. Very disappointed with them.
Didn’t enjoy the food
During my recent flight on 03 June from Mumbai to Atlanta I didn’t enjoy the food options served on the long flight. During every flight on my trip, as a vegetarian I was served chick peas in one form or another with every meal. I’m sure your team can do a better job of basic menu planning. Barely any veggies were served, even the salad served had chickpeas. This points to an obvious case of strict cost management at the expense of customer experience. Also, during the long 15 hours flight Abu Dhabi to Atlanta there must be provision for some snacks and drinks available for self service between meals at the back of the plane. This was not readily available, one had specifically ask. Finally, while I used only the free WiFi option available on board, I received a bill for paid internet post my flight. Not a great flying experience with Etihad Airways this time.

i can’t check in online because of the middle initial use for booking even i put my documents info and first & last name correctly with a middle initial in it ,need improvement to access all options easily

Try to update post code, emergency contacts & you put it in, go back in after logged out & it’s disappeared! Tried to pay a couple of times & then kicks u out & try again & price doubled!

Not Easy
This app is difficult to navigate. I have tried for weeks to change my flight but I don’t see the option to do so under manage my trip and agents help incurs a $30 fee ? this is crazy. Is this a budget airline like Spirit? Well we know what happened to Spirit … 1st and last time flying this company. Too many restrictions. I’ll fly another one for less headaches. I haven’t even been on the flight yet and I’m already frustrated. NEVER again. I don’t need so much headache to travel! It should be seamless. SMH

“My experience with Etihad Airways was excellent. The check-in process was smooth, the cabin crew were friendly and attentive, and the flight was comfortable throughout. The seats were clean, the food was good, and the in-flight entertainment offered plenty of options. Overall, I had a very pleasant journey and would happily fly with them again.”

Prepare to sign into you Etihad Guest account every time you want to perform an action. It’s pointless signing in upon opening the App because it asks you to do it again when checking your trip status, again when booking a chauffeur and again when booking a seat, etc. The App doesn’t support Facial Recognition and often hangs. Error messages are frequent when trying to make transactions.

The application has calmed my nerves, worrying about whether it would be cancelled however all Etihad flights have gone as normal with slight delays which isn’t a problem. In these trying times I have put my faith in Etihad. HashKMH4

Website and app has too many options. You have sign in then get stupid extra layer of OTP , POINTLESS! I’ve put in email And password. Check in family of 4 took two hours, initially spent 3 hours with support to sort club numbers which didn’t work. All booking and customer service with Etihad is garbage! Too much time lag Too many things don’t work FAQ’s bog standard info which doesn’t help Whoever built, wrote, designed this app or was involved should be sacked

Use a laptop. The app is rubbish. Trying to register is convoluted and the calendar is ridiculous when trying to enter past dates like your date of birth. The menu is not user friendly in the app
