Good APP to Track Indifferent Drivers
This is a great app…easy for payment and tracking rides. Especially when your taxi driver unnecessarily runs up the meter.

Good service
No taxis available, but a taxi shows up at my house
I have never had issues with this app. But recently, for 4 consecutive days whenever trying to make a booking, I get the notification that “there are no taxis in my area, or my booking was unsuccessful, I should try again” I tried ti book again, and said the same thing After 10 minutes two taxi drivers were calling me yo let me know they were waiting outside. Now when I walk out I don’t know which taxi to take and the drivers are fighting.! Can you sort this issue out.

I’m using this app since I came to UAE , but every time driver doesn’t know how to behave or even though I need to share location with them whatapp every single time. You need to fix app it’s self and plus give some training to your staff , since some of them behave like the own the world

Will not open nor find my location.
When it works, it is great!
Most of the time this is a great app. Very easy to use and convenient. The major issue is that the payment part of the app goes down too often. If it’s down you have to have cash and the drivers don’t always have change. Especially first thing in the morning.

Frustrating
The app regularly says it can’t find a taxi, but then books one anyway, after I found another ride. It also doesn’t tell the driver of cancelations. Several times I have had a cancelled taxi arrive at the same time my Careem arrives with a confused driver.
Why no tipping option for card payments?
Please allow a tipping option for the excellent service your drivers provide. Due to covid, I do not carry cash so much. It would be great if your app had a tipping feature just like Zomato or Deliveroo. It must be possible?

Location Issue
Experiencing issues for Taxi arrival. App is not picking properly the pickup location and I faced same issue 3/5 times. Drivers are keep searching the location. Additionally, drop off location does not show all locations when we are searching.
Excellent App
A very functional and must have app. Allows payment via the app. Very simple to set up and use definitely a must have to move around Abu Dhabi.

Can not create an account with a US number making the app useless.

It works, but not well
While the app does successfully pair riders with drivers, the location tool doesn’t seem to function well. Each time I use the app, I need to call the driver to give accurate directions because the app also doesn’t provide them with a clear pick-up point. The map picture isn’t very clear, and the live location of the driver takes longer than other car-hailing apps to update. My travel partner was unable to cancel rides after booking.
Desperately needs a revamp
The app works, most of the time but that’s just about it. App in general needs a massive revamp at this point it’s easier to call the integrated transport centre line then to use this app because half the time it doesn’t even have the location I’m looking for, ontop of that it takes forever to load and the design of the app could be better in general
Do Better
You need to improve the satellite location information on this app. Two days in a row I have tried to use this app and it is telling me that it cannot get a signal when all the other apps on my phone work perfectly fine. Today, I was trying to book a taxi from my city center Masdar (which does not even come up in your app as a location). The app was just spinning and spinning not giving me a driver. The information desk at my city center Masdar was kind enough to call me a taxi. While your app was spinning and spinning not giving me a driver. I then hit cancel on your app and it would not let me cancel. I closed the app and then two drivers show up. One saying I had booked him on the app and telling me my name and information when his information never showed up on my app. I can’t even submit this review in your app right now because it says there is no connection each time I hit submit.

When a pre-booking for the airport is made, is it reasonable for the conditions to state that the booking is not confirmed and depends on the availability of taxis, with the company disclaiming any responsibility? When a booking is confirmed by the customer, it should be confirmed by the company. The taxi policies in Abu Dhabi need to be revised.
it’s good, with caveats
this is an app that is worth having in your life. The map detail is insane, often better than Google Maps and always better than Uber/Careem. It’s really easy to use and does, ultimately, get you a cab, for free without calling the booking line. The caveats: 1. it doesn’t close properly - each time you open it, it’s likely stuck in the state from when you last used it. Not really a problem, just wait 30 seconds. 2. the cab driver isn’t actually told where you are, in the sense of an accurate GPS or dot on a map. That can get weird because sometimes they are told you are somewhere completely different! Write in the Note field where you actually are, it gets sent to the cab driver screen. 3. it used to always and accurately track the cab in real time on the map as it came to you, really useful, but this has now become hit and miss, more miss, which is a bit annoying. Fix these little things and you will have single handed THE BEST APP IN ABU DHABI.
App issues
Why have a pick up pin and drop pin if driver is not trained to use it ? Wasted time waiting and directing driver for both pick up and drop.
Unavailable taxi Problem
After the app tells me there isnt any taxis nearby, I cant try to order a taxi a second time even when i can see taxis in the applications map it keeps stating that no taxis are available nearby.

Absolutely useless app, I cannot register with my Saudi Arabian number
Why can’t you allow registering with other phone numbers from all around the world? United Arab Emirates trying to do anything to attract more tourist and only number I can use is UAE. This is absolutely wrong I cannot register even with my Saudi Arabian phone number. I need to order Taxi for my wife and baby to go from the airport to zoo and back and this is impossible. Your phone numbers are not working as well …. unbelievable

Finally Abu Dhabi Taxi’s Upped the game!
With the reintroduction of Uber this month and also strong competition from Careem. The Municipal Taxi’s got the push they desperately needed to upgrade their App with some nice features. The new version of the App looks like it has all the same features of Uber as first glance. But important missing features: - Loggin profile does not allow you to add you home address, and other favourite locations - Driver reviews missing - The map does not recognise Marina Square, Al Reem Island 🌴 (for that reason is useless to me) Hope the App developer reads this 🙏🏼

Buggy, won't install
The app will have me agree to terms and conditions in English but then I cannot select English as an option- it works if I switch to Arabic but then I cannot switch it back. When I force quit the app from the screen to choose between English and Arabic it doesn't load again.

A bit slow and a bit off for tracking taxi location, but it is easier than calling (and free).
Location
Driver does not know my location many times even when I call and give directions. I had to call multiple taxis and ended up being late. All drivers don’t use WhatsApp so sending location does not work.
Same as calling by phone
Please make sure the drivers have the app and follow the location and not call to know the address

App doesn’t work
This app is useless you gotta be only in city center for it to work. Other side of the Abu Dhabi region it always hangs and starts to give you errors. 1 out of 100 times I was able to book a taxi. payment doesn’t work, well I carry cash. Now driver doesn’t have change of 50aed. Overall taxi service is bad and they made an application to Match the service. Well done

Sometimes i make advanced bookings for the next day only to have them canceled?!? Which means that i am late to school.

Cancelling
The map does not work very well, and canceling doesn’t always work. Often times I will cancel a ride and it will not go through. This makes it even harder considering microphone on my phone is broken so I cannot call to cancel.
Great taxi app
A few glitches like not always able to locate map, but otherwise great. Gives me taxis car reg so I know if it's the correct one and eta. Well done!!!
Otp
When i try to input OTP, there is no way to see the 'verify otp' button as the it was blocked by the keyboard for which cannot be unhide. Not user friendly on these part . I was stuck on this bug. need to improve. Am using iPhone 6plus
No longer tracks taxi's progress
The app is useful for making bookings (no fee from a cell phone, unlike the TransAD telephone number) and is remarkable in the level of local mapping data - down to building level in most places. It even shows our neighbour's pool!!! Loses a star though as it used to track, in real time on a map, your taxi's planned arrival - this was more useful than you'd think as, on a number of occasions, you could see that your taxi was running late or had got lost / taken a wrong turn. It was also helpful in explaining to the driver where you were in relation to his current location (vital in a city where addresses mean nothing!). Sadly, this feature (as of Feb 2015 on an iPhone 6) seems to have stopped working as of a couple of upgrades ago - now, it just shows your taxi's static starting position, it no longer updates as he moves. It's a shame and I hope that it's possible to have this restored soon.

App Crashes
Every time I try to register the screen goes black and eventually the app crashes. Other than that, great app. Please fix soon.
Fair enough
The good thing about it is that you can easily call a taxi but the problem is that when I cancelled by booking, the taxi still called me. Maybe a verification or not? But it is good that AD made this app. Well done.
