Easy & soweit kostengünstig
Mag den Service. Roller fahren ist toll und die Ausleihe ist einfach. Priese sind relativ okay. Tagespass rentiert sich auch mal, wenn man weiter weg einen Ausflug machen mag zB. Kundenservice sehr engagiert und nett.

Erweitern nach Giesing/Harlaching
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem System und den zuverlässigen Fahrzeugen, dennoch wohne ich in Giesing und Harlaching (kann dort nicht mit dem E-Scooter hinfahren), und benutze es viel weniger als gewollt. Ich empfehle eine Erweiterung des Systems in diesen Zonen, würde sich auch fürs Geschäft lohnen💶.

Emmy is currently the only provider for this service in Berlin, and it shows. Without competition, there is little incentive to improve, and the app reflects that: the UX is essentially unchanged from five years ago, with the same persistent issues still unresolved. Pricing has gone up significantly and is now comparable to renting a car outright, yet the structure remains opaque. Prepaid account credit, for example, can not be used for 30- or 60-minute packages, which is far from intuitive. Customer service is virtually non-existent! I would not recommend this service.
So etwas buggy, Rest gut
Sehr praktisch in der Stadt und unkomplizierter Anmeldevorgang. Allerdings ist es echt super nervig, dass man sich jedesmal beim öffnen der App neu anmelden muss.
Besser als gedacht
Ich habe emmy neulich zum Ersten Mal ausprobiert und war etwas unsicher, weil die letzten Bewertungen ziemlich schlecht waren. Muss aber sagen, dass ich bis jetzt kein einziges Problem hatte. Dir App funktioniert bei mir ohne Probleme und die Roller machen übertrieben Spaß. Kann‘s eigentlich nur empfehlen
Completely broken
Unusable.
First time, loved it
I had my eyes on one of these. Took it through Berlin today. Start procedure was alright. The helmets were both much too small (size S). The scooter is very comfortable and handles well. Very stable. Good acceleration and top speed (47 km/h) was sufficient to flow with traffic.
Nicht mehr benutzbar
War früher mal echt super. Bei den letzten vier Fahrten musste ich die Hotline kontaktieren, da mal wieder irgendetwas nicht funktioniert hat… Wenn das Team endlich mal ihre Software unter Kontrolle kriegen würde, wär es ja ne super Idee. Ich werde‚s jedenfalls nicht mehr benutzen, weil man sich einfach nicht darauf verlassen kann.

Also ich muss ehrlich sein: 10/10, bitte (!!!) behaltet diesen 24h Tagespass. Es hat so viel Spaß gemacht, mit euren Rollern durch Berlin zu düsen. Die App ist eigentlich ganz intuitiv nutzbar. Ich finde nur, diese knapp 5 EUR, nerven mich bisschen, da die nicht direkt mit dem Tagespass verrechnet werden konnten. Aber ansonsten: die App, der Roller, die Helme, die Kopfnetze, wirklich richtig gut durchdacht. Ich kann euch wärmstens empfehlen!!!

Great but bugs since update
Very good app and scooter system, not expensive. But since the last update some days ago, I can reserve but not rent anymore.
Photo Activation and expensive
Photo activation is not working well. Was not able to resolve even after contacting the support center. Also it is rather rxpensive for the electric moped

Führerschein wurde innerhalb 2 Minuten verifiziert. Die App Einrichtung ist allgemein unfassbar leicht. Die scooter sind komfortabel und machen gleichzeitig spaß
Non-eu drivers license
The company before, Felyx, recognized my drivers license from the US but sadly since the merge with Emmy my drivers license is no longer valid because it’s a non-eu drivers license. These scooters are one of my favorite parts of Berlin and I would ride them EVERYWHERE. Please give it some thought!

Funktionsprobleme
Emmi Roller fahren macht Spaß jedoch kommt es häufiger zu Problemen. Neulich konnte ich den Emmi Roller nicht abstellen, obwohl ich damit auf zugelassenen Parkplatz stand. Dadurch musste ich am Ende doppelt so viel zahlen, wie ich eigentlich zahlen sollte. Und am Ende muss ich das Serviceteam anrufen die haben sich dann darum gekümmert. Haben mir aber kein Geld zurückgegeben. Ein anderes Mal wird der Roller auf der Map angezeigt und dann läuft man dahin und dann ist er da nicht. Noch dazu ist es viel zu teuer. Fahr kein Emmy Roller!!
Technische Probleme
Beim öffnen passiert es häufiger, dass die Helmbox nicht entriegelt wird. Wieder abmelden und anmelden kostet 1.00 € plus ein paar Cent. Dieses Geld ist dann verschenkt. Sonst fahren die Roller ok.

So praktisch, macht Spaß, sehr hochwertige Roller, unkompliziert, zuverlässig und preislich fair!

Great Service with mediocre hardware
I frequently use Emmy in Berlin. I love to ride the scooters. What is really bad is the helmet box . It is cut way too tight for two helmets. It leaves me calling the hotline at least once or twice a month. The mirrors are frequently twisted and can’t be used at all. The indicator has to be turned off manually, ( coup Scooter played at least an audible sound). All in all i will definitely continue to use the service but it’s time for the Emmy team to fix those issues. Andi

for years now emmy annoys customers with permanent updated & each time I want to use a scooter ( like once per months) they force me to login again with email & new email code. So it is actually not quick & easy to use as they promise - at least not on an iphone 😓

Die App ist sehr langsam und glicht ein bisschen… Die Fahrten werden nicht direkt abgebucht, was ein bisschen nervig ist! Fahrspaß ist auf jeden fall verhanden😁

10€ registration fee
This company asking for 10€ registration fee before they accept your license. Their phone service is another sad story. Go for Tier guys, they have superb & instant service
App & scooters work perfect but...
The experience is always great! The prices is the best in Berlin but the big problem is not enough scooters. It’s always a lucky moment when one is within <5 minutes walk but it’s very rare.... get some more on the streets ASAP
Operative Probleme
Jeder dritte Roller geht nicht an oder aus. Die App loggt sich literally alle paar Tage aus, was nervig ist wenn man unterwegs gerade einen braucht. Die Roller sind mit 36cent/min mittlerweile einfach zu teuer. Es gibt keine Minutenpakete mehr und in HH einfach viel zu wenige Roller.
Still a startup
Nice scooters, but they still have a lot of rough spots they need to fix in their app and overall experience. I’m updating this review after working through an issue with a fantastic member their service team. I see some negative reviews here about their service. They must have made major improvements in this area, because my experience was model of what I wish every company provided. Toan from Emmy, you know I’m talking about you.
Why all the hate?
Don’t know why they have so many bad reviews. I have been using their service a lot over the past year and they have been wonderful. Good support that speak English. And the bikes are wonderful.
Horrible app
The scooters are fine but the app is horrific. Often breaks down you can’t return the scooter or hire it especially when in a rush.
The new app is much better
Much better UX and UI. Now you just have to make 1) pricing a bit better (Coup is cheaper now!) 2) the UX of scooters better (they still… suck-ish)
The worst app
Concept is only cool if it actually works, the app bugs out constantly and support is not able to help one just because it’s a poor app in itself
Nice service and coverage, painful signup
Painful signup and verification, where guidance isn’t clear and video upload is limited to something like 3 seconds. Looking forward to trying the app.

Great fun and convenience around Berlin. I only wish there were more in the fleet so I didn’t have to walk as far to find them sometimes.

All the scooters have been in great condition and getting started is super easy. Would be nice if you could reserve for a longer period.
Wasteful
It is two days on the row they keep rejecting my license. I called them... it took me 20 minutes to talk to someone who wasted my 15 other minutes and failing to understand suggested I should talk to his manager. It led me to waste another 30 minutes waiting for the manager to pickup the phone and the system hanged up on me.
Birth of date not working
I cannot sign up because I cannot type in my date of birth. Don’t know how the experience is, couldn’t try it out.
Better than the rest
This app and scooter rental system has come a long way. They have made it easier to figure out and it runs more smoothly. Most importantly, it is by leaps and bounds the best way to get around Berlin. Fast and fun and reliable. I wish they had it all over the world. So much better than all that scooter junk that is showing up on every street corner. Two people can ride comfortably across the entire city in minutes.
Terrible customer service
After spending an hour trying to work through a complicated system of verifying an international drivers license, I was rudely told by customer service to continue calling them until an English speaker would pick up the line. Rest assured after calling three times and getting the same response, I stopped. Absolutely worthless process for a company claiming to be English compatible
Good scooters, shady company
Beware a hidden sign up fee! I downloaded Emmy with the promise of free rides for a first-time user. However, upon registration I was hit with a 10€ charge which was only explained to me after I raised the issue. Nowhere was this charge advertised. Customers deserve more transparency.
