Great workout app!!
I use the app with both my apple watch and Scosche armband. I love the charts and graphs as well as the ability to monitor my HR real time during my workout.
Watch app is lovely. Phone app is the worst app ever made
The watch app shows instantly what you’ve just done. The phone app will tell you what you did three day ago. It will not show Today until some time near Christmas. If you like app that crash constantly & are days behind your actual activity choose this one

I loved the original app, I could compare my self to others. That’s what motivated with this app. They took away that feature so I will not renew in December.

I like a lot of the new features. But I have to turn on in the app. Find my monitor. It is difficult to edit my workout to name it so that I can see it. From my point of view, you’ve made it harder for me to use the app.
Love app
Love this app. It’s so encouraging to see all the different progress. I love the gps esp when I downhill ski. It’s probably the best app I’ve used so far and very easy to use. Love all the stats.
Very limited functionality w/out subscription
The app is actually pretty good. However even Apple health (free) will give you very basic metrics w/out paying. You basically get nothing - not even your “day of” workout stats.
Great for tracking all fitness endeavors
I was using Strava for cycling. Found that tracking weight training and other e revise was challenging. Have migrated all activity tracking here. Love the simplicity, myriad of metrics, and easy sync with polar HR monitor.
InConsistent Data
I workout twice daily, both weight training and cardio. What Ive noticed is that all my workouts do NOT appear in the software once completed. So, I am left deciding if I should workout more or call it a day. Sometimes it takes up to 4 hours for the data to appear summarized in my Workout Summary. To me, that’s a real sticking point!
Recents Exercise
I designed my own exercises. I used to able to more exercises in recents, but not now. So they lost a star.
Fantastic app!! HRV monitor & pacer
I couldn’t have asked for a better app – I have to monitor my HRV precisely and this has made that very easy to do. It helps me pace myself and it helps me stay on track and know when I’ve reached my limits. I highly recommend for anyone dealing with fitness or HRV or chronic illness because this will help you. 🫶🏼✨
Used to be ok
I’ve been using this for years. Recent design changes are making so that I can’t even connect my wearable heart rate devices. Sometimes it takes minutes to find them, sometimes it never does. I have to restart the app many times to try to get a connection. What a waste of time. Looking for something else that is simple and actually connects to my tracker. Ugh.

The app solicits for reviews all the time, it’s annoying. It has feedback buttons in multiple locations which could be used for workout stats I want to see.

Love it, don’t leave home without it. It’s like have a coach in your ear buds.
Readiness level indicators completely off
I do HIIT 4x well and run. Every day, your readiness indicator makes it sound like I’m about to die! Not sure what’s wrong with it, but I ain’t dead yet!

Useful app for tracking workouts
FITIV Pulse has proven indispensable for my fitness training with the Apple Watch. The interface is very informative. Summary info and maps showing gps track color coded by heart rate are excellent. A five star app two revisions ago, each revision buries the most useful features for me behind unnecessary screens. Minus one star per revision until I can reconfigure the displays back to where I like them. Yet another revision and the app is burying my useful info even deeper. Please let me configure the welcome screen to show my latest workout with tags accessible at the top. I am very close to giving up on what was once indispensable for me. Nowadays it requires too many clicks and too much scrolling to get to my workout data.
Changes
I wish we can go in and modify our change the time on an exercise cause I forget to turn my watch. Sometimes FITIV doesn’t sync for a day or two
Fitness Gem
This program works extremely well. I am elderly and swim, bike and jog in water. This app captures it all flawlessly. I love that the leaderboard allows me to compete against the top athletes. It is a great device to keep one’s motivation at a high level.
Stop making so many changes and bring back the most recent workout option!
I’m getting tired of having to go through a million different exercises to find the latest, only ones that I use. Why does it keep reverting to the default one’s? Also please, stop changing the damn UI. It works, its fine, it works just leave it alone!
Happy with the layout but expensive
The app has improved but still isn’t fully consistent with my data. My weight entries sometimes don’t record. It displays my current heart rate and zone very well on both my watch and phone, and the layout works great. I just wish it showed daily averages for all workouts combined. The price feels high if that’s the only feature I’m using.

Too expensive for premium. Please reduce if possible. Excellent app but it’s way too expensive at the moment.
New update is terrible
They went all in on training metrics including introducing a “battery” stat, at the expense of the old easy to see at a glance summary of workouts. Please let me turn off the new stuff. I don’t need it or want it.

Awesome fitness app.
Doesn’t measure anything
The app was working well for quite some time but after a few months, all of a sudden I can do a strength training, core, and HIIT workout at max intensity and it will calculate my heart rate, average heart rate, yet won’t calculate calories or points. I’ve tried everything under the sun to fix this and it will not work. Extremely disappointed
Best fitness app I tried! But...
As a health professional, I downloaded the pulse app, and like the nice environment, as I used native and free apps before. Lot of info on the dashboard. It summarizes sleep, heart rate, fitness info (distance, avg heart rate, max HR, etc), as you choose. You have to download and use the associated apps (run or bike) to get to use the app while training. I liked it so much, I accepted to pay the membership, which gives great advantages for a reasonable price, with graphs and VO2max and training zone. Very happy! For one year or so... for some months now, the app is dysfunctional. The FITIV team offers LITTLE SUPPORT to help. Finally, I had to reinstall it, and lost all previous data.
Please allow users to modify sleep goals
Otherwise great app, but please allow users to set their own sleep goal. Mine resets back to 7 hours every day and it skews the data for days that the goal wasn’t changed.
Consistently fails to properly connect to Fitbit Air
I love the Dynamic Island and widget integration for iOS which is much better than Google Health but I’m consistently running into problems tracking my heart rate with the Fitbit Air. It says it’s connected but will not track the heart rate while Google Health tracks it perfectly fine.
Duplicates ifit- sometimes…
It’s getting better. Love all the stats! However there is a lot of errors in distance as it pertains to treadmill running. I have two other apps that I use that match each other and this app is very often wrong.
Does not download workouts from garmin
I used this ap for years and it worked fine but in November they must have changed something as not downloading workouts from garmin with any consistency. Makes it of little value unless fixed

Works great, but too complicated
I love the features, but it’s too hard to get to them. I find the menu confusing and I can’t always find the information I want without trying multiple ways. I would like to customize my menus and get rid of the extra things I don’t want to use.
I still use it every day
I use fitiv for elliptical, walking and biking. I love that it tracks the routes on a map. I like the challenges and badges. A first rate app.
New iPhone crashes
Was working fine now crashes on new iPhone air, iOS 26. logged in and crashes on Workout tab. App freeze the moment I tap on that tab and crash to Home Screen happens. Reinstall does not help
Excellent
I’ve used this app for the past couple of years to track any training & exercise that I do. I find the heart rate graphs and feedback particularly useful. Only quibble I have is that, as an actual ‘on-the-water’ rower, there is no rowing or sculling work-out (only indoor rowing machine) so I have to edit/rename the walking one. Apart from that, it’s great.

The weight lifting part of the app is a hassle to stop to add exercise and weights. I just want to lift and circuit train.

50% of my workout start witth me having to reinstall this app because it crashes… sucj a waste of time Again another update and it crashes. Heart bear take 20 secs to starts… i want to train not troubleshot the app..
Really Good
Visually, the user interface looks good. I would appreciate the ability to edit activity duration post workout incase you forgot to turn it off and have the app re-calculate the calorie count accordingly. An indicator showing when it’s connected/not connected to an external heart-rate monitor (chest strap). Apple Watch app does not save metrics how you had them set from the previous workouts, you have to keep entering what you want to show (HR, Cal, Distance, etc.) and where every time, really annoying. Not bad overall. would be nice to be able to download your own data to review your history of exercising.
Started off well then drops out
The app was pretty good to start but during December the app started to drop out and part way through my training and recording times/distance/speed. This is frustrating and after contacting via the feedback I’ve not heard anything or received any push notifications. This is shame as Strava offers similar functions for free and doesn’t have these glitches. If this app worked 100% of the time it would be great in getting data/rest/recover/under over training info.
Newbie
When I first started using FITIV it worked great and it was easy to see the data from my workouts and activities. However you have changed the format a few times and now I find the app inconvenient and difficult to use, so I quit using it to track my activity. I don’t like things that change all the time.
Best HRM/Fitness Tracking App out there
Been using this for 15 years. Tried several others but always come back to this one since it does everything I need.
Random Starts
This app turns on even in my sleep. Not reliable at all and you can’t delete the workout on the app so the daily and weekly summaries are useless.
Decent app
I had a lot of problems with this app when I first got it back when it was called MOTIFIT. The big one was that it wouldn’t connect to my Apple Watch. Since then however, I’ve become a beta tester for the app and put forward numerous ideas some of which have been incorporated into the app and some which will hopefully be in the near future. I use the app paired with a Polar H7 and Apple Watch and it works very well. The information presented on your phone/iPad can be customised so that you only see what you want to see and it also uses GPS to log cycle rides, runs etc. You can also automatically or manually upload your workouts to Strava and it can be linked with My Fitness Pal if you’re tracking your calorie intake and expenditure. 4 stars from me, a decent fitness app which I recommend it for anyone who’s into their fitness. I use it for my weigh trainings, indoor rowing, cycling and walking.
