Love it but not updating on new phone
I like using CardioBot but it’s not updating with new phone. I’ve tried several things but still not updating,
Not free

Good, but needs to account for cardiac patients
Update - The developer has reached out and explained how to access the individual days that I was wanting to find. I still need to be able to set the ranges that are normal for how my pacemaker is set up. My ‘normal’, is not the same as a lot of people’s ’normal’. Original review — I like this app, but there are two things that need to be improved: 1). I need to be able to set the parameters that are set on my pacemaker — for example, by low end is set to 70, which this app doesn’t like. 2). I need to be able to look at individual days, such as ‘yesterday’ or whatever day I need in detail. This information is helpful when I have a conversation with my cardiology team. Perhaps I am just missing how to do this in the app.
Very poor
Must only work and sync with an Apple Watch (which is Surles’s as it only has an 18 hour battery life). I have a Garmin Instinct 3 and I have to manually input everything. Nothing syncs.
Confusing App info
Need a study guide to understand this apps function.
Thanks
Very helpful
Misleading NOT FREE
Can’t do anything in this app without paying a subscription. Description of app is misleading.
Not optimal for cardiac patients
I really find this app useful except…I don’t see any way to let it know my heart meds are designed to keep my HR low. I can workout pretty darn hard and not go over 105. My cardiologist says you are doing great. Cardiobot says, you are not hitting your heart rate zone. Work harder. Surely you can adjust this so I don’t overdo it! I need this type of accountability but I also need my meds.
Heart rate variability
The developer is still ignoring my feedback that this parameter is being displayed incorrectly. The data points represent discrete measurements and should not be connected as they are now, unless the values along the connecting line actually represent heart rate variability at each point on the curve. The correct approach is to either leave the points unconnected, or connect each point to the next measurement with a straight horizontal line that steps to the next value — a step plot.
Not for elderly
I like the app for tracking trends and seeing my heart rate data over time, and it’s easy to use. However, the workout targets and intensity feedback don’t really fit people with medical conditions. My safe heart rate range is lower due to my health history and medications, so the app often says I’m not reaching target zones when I actually am working at a safe and appropriate level for me. That said, I was contacted by the developer, and they mentioned they are working on making improvements. Because of that, I’m willing to give it a higher rating and see how it evolves. It has good potential, especially if it becomes more customizable for different health situations.

Just getting started with the app
I have been walking for a couple years now. Lots of uphill routes.
Amazing App
It’s been 2-3 years that’s I’ve been using and it’s easily my favorite app investment! I def recommend! Thank you for update the app icon it’s soo cute!!
Annoying! Keeps repeatedly asking for review.
I see nothing here that tells something worth paying.
Apple Watch widget
Recently downloaded the app, I like the app information however I keep getting problems with one widget partial loading (resting heart rate widget) comes up with the heart but no indication of rate, my watch is an Apple series 9 so shouldn’t be a problem, the only way i can get it to record correctly is to keep rebooting the watch and phone which I don’t want to do. Please can you advise what’s required. Following on from my first review I’m getting to grips with this app now, I realise that resting for 10 minutes will trigger the resting widget which in hindsight is logical. I’ve started blood pressure readings which link to my watch and phone although they only show the last reading but that’s ok, cardio is ongoing bit basic but only just started to use this widget haven’t tried Apple Music option with cardio yet but I’ll get there. So a better feel for this app now patients is a marvellous thing . I’ve updated the star rating, not quit 5 yet but maybe one day.

I’m not sure if I will be able to make a meaningful review of utility of your App if there is not some concession financial front for your company, says you will gleaned anything you can get from just for the sake of your business credit and sales of the app you have so artfully designed for us to utilize

Requests of Review are too frequent and annoying. Reports are poorly synchronized. This bot can be retired and forgotten.
Nice app
I like the app but I don’t like how it keeps telling me my heart rate is low during the day. The app does not take into account that I’m sleeping at this time but when awake it’s always over 60. As a result on an almost daily basis the app says my average heart rate is under 50 but people’s rate is generally lower during sleep I’d like a feature adding where you can tell it the time of day you usually sleep and then it can calculate your average awake heart rate and then I might stand a chance of turning it orange for the day with exercise rather than blue. It can be demotivating after doing exercise to then see it blue for the day due to it being lower during sleep which you have no control over. I might exercise for an hour at most. I might sleep 8+ hours some days so the percentage of time spent in the 50’s or high 40’s is 7x more than exercising in the 130+
Could be better
I think it would improve if you could actually click on a timestamp to get a better understanding rather than just looking at a bunch of graphs. It could be a lot more personal. Reading a few reviews it seems there are heart patients in here that the more detailed information could help them get better insight. The app siva good idea, its just missing a lot. Probably wont be renewing.
Falls short of a really good health app.
Why is the heart points not reading the watch fitness app for steps and calories? I’ve been walking from parking lots into stores and walking around for hours and still Zero heart points. I’m not going to into the workout app to tell it I’m walking when the watch is already figuring it out. Reply- I’m out all day cutting trees and splitting wood, plenty of physical activity and increased heart rate. Not a single heart point unless I go into the fitness app and outdoor walking.
Love it

Terrible app
Do not recommend after asking me to review it for the millionth time
Nice info
Good info. I’ve signed up to Pro. I got an alert to tell me my sleep report was ready but it was info I had already seen (last nights info only). Or am I missing something? Could we get a calendar of sleep times like heart rate? Can we get more control of notifications? Thanks
Amazing until Recent update
I don’t get HRV anymore at all for the last 2 weeks.
Not very usefull
Data is presented cleanly but it doesn’t give anything you can’t get through the Health app. The AI coaching is really not very useful and doesn’t offer any insights. The awareness section is just links to content you can find yourself. There is no calculation of stress, just a presentation of HRV. There is no presentation of post workout recovery (1 minute, 2 minute HR recovery) just an indication of your HR throughout a workout (which you can also get in the Health app). I subscribed due to a reduced rate so I’ll try it for a year but so far, I’m just not impressed. It’s a slightly better presentation of your data that is in the Health app.
Excellent app
Worth the subscription fee. I use all throughout the day.
Black screen
The screen goes black. Nothing is visible.
Great balance of detail vs simplicity
I’ve used a few of these apps and they range from very basic, to over-the-top with detail and stats to the point you don’t understand what you’re looking at. This app finds the right balance between those points, and the subscription adds genuine value for trend analysis over extended periods of time. My only wish / compliant is notifications are all-or-nothing and I’d like to be able to choose what to be notified about. I don’t want Sleep related notifications for example, but weekly trend summaries or High / Low HR alerts would be welcome. I’ve turned them off for now, which feels a missed opportunity for the Dev.
Crashes
On the trends screen the app kicks me out every time I scroll down the page, I can’t really say it offers much better info than the normal health data on the iPhone, maybe the summary of low, normal and high is useful.

Whys the year set at 2021
Guess I'm stupid but I don’t see how the year can be adjusted on this app. - not that it would make any difference in the readings. Apple Health app is better. Don't bother spending your $ for this.
What’s happened?
Since the last IOS update the complication on my Apple Watch has disappeared, why and what are you going to do to put it right? Other than this I think it’s a great app.
Struggled to see the value
Not sure this app really delivers anything useful.
Dodgy numbers??
I have had the app for a few months now however while it’s great as a coaching tool, I wonder as to the accuracy of the information it feeds back regarding heart rate zone during workouts. Heart rate zones are measured as a percentage of 220- YOUR AGE . I noticed that cardiobot does not request this information so how can it judge your heart rate zone during exercise? If the developers can sort that out I think it would be a much more useful application. Thank you

Restoring app after a New phone
No apparent way to transfer the app to a new device. No logical steps to reach customer service to correct.
One strange thing?
Love the simplicity and it tells me what I’m interested in. Why does it open with the calendar in 2016 though?
Step backwards
The old version was better as it gave you a figure rather than just a colour figures give you a better idea of progress
Not much
Provides essentially the same info as the Health App (free) that comes with the Apple Watch. I signed up for a free trial but was charged for year before the free trial ended. Wasted $30. Can’t cancel and get a refund. Not recommended.

Awesome,and nice to see!

Five stars would be possible
If there was a setting to change to miles from Kilometres. Ability to add notes. Otherwise first impression are good would prefer to have the workouts above sleep “just a personal thing”
Mediocre app and refund not available
I purchased by mistake and after few minutes I realised that the paid version is 90% the same like the free version of this app. I requested a refund, as in the UK by law there is a cooling off period of 14 days for any online purchase, and it has been denied. Don't buy it, I wasted 19.99£.
Misleading HRV interpretation.
Overall, this is a good app. Where it falls short. Is the HRV interpretation. The app makes the assumption that a low HRV is not good. But we know that HRV is a very complex measurement based on the flight flights response of the body and doesn’t necessarily mean they’re having a low HRV is any worse than someone having high HRV. I am a very active and fit in individual, my resting heart rate is often around 40 bpm mark, I train three times a week, at least once a week I hit 180 bpm on my cardio and I run regularly; I also do resistance training three times a week. My VO2 max is around 44 to 48 which is considerably higher than the average person my age of 44 years old. The app gives me a warning when my HRV drops to around 40ms, this is normally a midmorning where it seems to recover to 80 in the afternoon, often at night it is in the 120s to 160s. The reason why this is misleading is because the app is making an assumption that a low HRV is bad. You notice the Apple watch app that measures your HRV doesn’t tell you whether a low HRV or a high HRV is bad. It tells you what it is. In summary, I think the app needs a bit of tweaking. And The in particular part of the HRV measurement needs to be adjusted as it’s very simplistic and could be interpreted incorrectly with the simple statement that the HRV is in a bad situation when it simply might not be at all. I had decided to remove the app because all it does is introduce more anxiety. This is an excerpt from the website simplyfaster.com which explains in more detail this issue. Why and when a decreasing HRV trend does not necessarily reflect fatigue Aerobic exercise tends to have a stimulatory effect on parasympathetic modulation, which can be observed in the HRV score the following morning. This is one reason why moderate aerobic exercise is often used as an effective recovery modality. However, exercise intensity is an important mediator of cardiac-parasympathetic responses to the training session. A recent study by Plews and colleagues4 featuring Olympic-level rowers found that training phases of high intensity (e.g., above the second lactate threshold) suppressed HRV, while phases of lower intensities (e.g., below the lactate threshold) increased HRV. This is important to understand when interpreting an HRV trend over time. Phases involving moderate intensity aerobic work are likely to cause an increasing HRV trend, while phases of high intensity conditioning with minimal low intensity work will cause a decrease. The absence of low intensity aerobic work results in an absence of the stimulatory effects that this training type has on parasympathetic activity. Further, the high intensity training will be more disruptive to homeostasis as a result of greater metabolic demand. In this situation, a progressive decrease in HRV can occur despite no meaningful increase in levels of fatigue. Therefore, you shouldn’t be alarmed if you observe a decrease in your HRV trend when limiting moderate aerobic work.
