New and Improve
I like the new and improved TDECU app. I can check my bank account, pay bills and transfer money without any hassle any time of the day.
App feels unusable
I appreciate the effort to secure client accounts, but a short time-out window coupled with incessant secondary verification makes the app (and website) feel unusable. Please find a better solution. For example, allow users to view their accounts and documents with a password and require identity verification only for significant action such as transfers, withdrawals, deposits, or changing account settings. Rather than repeatedly requiring a new access code every 15 minutes when simply reviewing transaction history and account statements.

Log off auto
Do not like auto logos when I am still processing stuff ! Also the code needs to be apparent on screen rather than having to open it up to at least save time

Disappointed with facial recognition
Disables facial recognition too frequently. Might as well not include it as an option.
Works when you can log in.
Decent interface when it works, but it seems to forget face ID constantly and then resetting passwords doesn’t like to actually reset your password. I use 3 other banking apps and never get anywhere near this level of frustration with the others.
Does what is required but too hard to log into
The app does all the things needed for a banking app. However, I only have about a 50% shot of it actually logging me in when I want to use it. Seems more stable on a phone with Face ID but I’ve not successfully logged in via my iPad in weeks. It gets into some loop where it’s asking for ID even though it’s been already provided. The website is stable. This app is not.

Kicks you out every two to three weeks. At times you have to call to rest. Calling takes minimum 30 minutes
Login Annoying
Login requires several iterations. Face login not working. Very annoying compared to Wells Fargo, 1st Stare, and Charles Schwab!

Face ID NEVER works
I have reenrolled for Face ID a million times and it still never works. Dumb.
Horrible user experience
The app feels like it was made by a bunch of high schoolers. Feels like everything is snapped on. Horrible notification settings.

Love the app, just wish had face recognition to log in.
why do you need to verify every time
everytime it ask to call to verify me, i put in the same email and password everytime how do you not know it’s me by now they it makes me scan my id and my face, 3 times already. it’s the same stupid face and same access point everytime every other bank i deal with doesn’t do all this unnecessary verification each time
Not great. But it works I guess
Always asks me to “enable Face ID” after I log in and it never remembers my choice. When you log in, it takes you to basically a mobile webpage, doesn’t feel like you stayed in app. UX/UI overall is lacking. They should look at the citi mobile app for user experience and design.
Efficient and complete
There’s nothing I can’t do with this app to manage my accounts. TDECU is great and the app adds excellent value.

Worst Mobile App Ever Used from Any Bank
I can’t believe they even release this code and app to their customer. I have used banking apps from banks all over the western hemisphere and I can hands down say this app is not only an embarrassment for the dev team and product manager that put it out there, but is so dysfunctiional that I would recommend to anyone I know not to use TDECU if they have to use the mobile app in any way.

Very bad
Every time I log in to pay my credit card it takes me forever to find how to do it despite that I’ve been paying on the app for at least two years. It is not intuitive and last month I paid my credit card bill through the app and it wasn’t received. How about a large button that says pay credit card here? I wrote this review a year ago but apparently didn’t submit it. I still agree with everything I said. Except now it won’t rennet my Face ID and I had to look up my login stuff every single time I use it.
