I’ve used countless apps to manage money. SCU Banking app is by far the most intuitive app to date.
Prove you are human
After being on basic hold for 25 min trying to solve this continuous loop of “proof you are human” code…… still not working! Had to hang up as I couldn’t wait any longer. No IT Dept to assist on the phone. Frustrating to say the least!
The app is excellent, just crash sometimes.
The app works and gets the job done, but from time to time it freeze and stop working. I am sure it is something that it’s getting worked on.
App seems to be under maintenance a lot.
It’s seems like I am unable to get into my app with unknown errors that relate to app maintenance, being given errors with no solution when I need access to my money now, not later.

It’s an app for online banking. It’s not good, other credit unions and apps are better. Kind of really hate this online bank, UW Credit Union app is way better and seriously, this looks and operates bad. Keep doing updates but still the same old garbage.
Great
The app works great, smooth and easy to navigate. Super simple but still very useful and informative. My only suggestion would be to add a notification reminder for the savings goals and to be able to set an automatic transfer of funds from checking or savings into a specific savings goal. It’s great otherwise! I’ve been with summit since I was 17 and now 28, they’re a good credit union 💯💯.
App
The app does not work on my laptop. I use my cell phone to look at accounts. The app is a little difficult to move between accounts when comparing or searching for entries. I often sign out by accident and have to sign in a couple of times to complete my banking needs.
Better and worse
This new version is better at consolidating accounts but worse at presenting them. So little info is allowed per screen compared to the old version. I sish there were s way to display accounts in a “comact” mode — more information per screen.

Zelle
Tried to send money to daughter using Zelle. Could NOT find Zelle in my app and the app is current.
Overall great app
The app is great for most things. Once in a while an electronic deposit doesn't work due to poor handwriting and I have to take it to the bank (my old bank simply accepted as pending until a human could review and approve). Everything else works well.
Robot Verification doesn’t work
The app is helpful but I can’t login any longer. It’s stuck on the robot verification. It asks me to check the box, I do, then it loads for a second and then asks me to check the box again.

I wish I could see all my accounts even the business on the home page without having to switch users

can't make payments
Since the new update I cannot make my car payments anymore. I now have to go in person to pay and it's frustrating because I work 9-5 Mon-Fri therefore I have come Saturday which makes my payments late. I can't wait to fully pay off this loan so I no longer have to bank here.
Recent Update
Love the app, but unfortunately can’t use due to the recent update being incompatible with my my iOS version. Hopefully there is an update coming soon for those of us with older phones 🙏
Dislike the new app
I used to be able to see so much more! Like when paychecks were pending and when a check was going to be released. Now it’s so confusing! There’s so much going on I can’t find anything and I had to rearrange everything. I’ve had it for a month and I just hate it.
Polished Look. Painful Use.
The recent app update is perplexing. The new UI is clunky, unintuitive, and frustrating to use. Switching between credit cards and checking/savings accounts now requires adding separate profiles, creating unnecessary complexity and extra taps. The main view is cluttered with unnecessary tiles and analysis features, making it harder to access essential banking tools quickly. It feels like the focus has shifted away from straightforward banking to a cluttered experience filled with distractions. Hopefully, Summit will take this feedback seriously and prioritize a more user-friendly design.

Unusable
You have to complete a captcha each time you login, which fails every time if you use a VPN. The recent app over haul is not user friendly.
Perfect app
Summit credit union makes it very easy for me to check my accounts. Especially our business account, it’s very crucial to know what is getting spent and you can break it very easily on the app
Switch back to the old app!
I absolutely hate the new app. Hard to navigate. Everything looks the same. I don't feel like it's user friendly at all- I Luke's on the old one it had just the accounts and you clicked on whatever you were looking for.
Challenging
Wish I could arrange my accounts accordingly. Change the font size. A bit harder to navigate but am learning.
Convenient
The app is pretty easy to use and very convenient. My only negative is they have such a low limit on Zelle transfers.
Not a fan of new update
Don’t understand why it asks for camera permission upfront and why do I need to reverify my account and retype in my full SSN? Not the best UX
Horrible app update
I used to love the app and love summit and tell everyone, “get summit!” But no. Things have changed. This new update is horrible and makes me miserable every time I have to open the app. I’m already angry about the amount in my account and the fact that I got scammed and summit took forever to give me my money back and didn’t even alert me. So, seeing this update makes things way worse.

New banking experience is hideous
Used to be intuitive and feature-rich. However, Summit has sacrificed all that in favor of a bunch of "financial health trackers" and "projected spending" widgets that don't apply to most. Account balance view has been relegated to a tiny portion of the screen. Worst of all, you now need TWO accounts to view personal and joint account details. Used to be able to view them inline with each other but it's baffling why they would add this intrusive step. You can also no longer sort accounts into buckets - it's hard coded into "loans" and "accounts" etc. I'm open to change, but the dashboard concept has sacrificed meaningful features for bloaty and flashy tools.
Great Relationship
I’ve been with Summit Credit Union for 33 years. They have always been the financial mentor and partner I can count on.
App went from perfectly fine to awful.
I’ll keep the review at a minimum. Why fix what wasn’t broken? Now you broke the app.

New update is trash .
It was a simple easy to use app before the update that happened this morning. It was asking for my ssn again. It was fine for the first the time. I tried to log in again, and it was asking to be authorized again. Why fix something that wasn’t broken ?
