Forms issue
I had issues twice now where I filled out a form on this app, got an email confirmation that I filled out the form and then they claim they never got it. The email even had a link to view the from I filled out and get a copy. I don’t understand how they never get it then.

From in person visits to the app, always responsive and just works.
App glitches
Whenever I go to unlock my card it doesn’t unlock. Sometimes it takes about 20-40 mins of me trying to unlock my debit card before it actually toggles over to unlock which happens to me almost everyday.
Have a section for credit report

Old way was much better
I cannot find checks that have been cashed or bills that have been paid. Before, right on the first page, was a list of all transactions and it was so easy I DO NOT like the new form at all

Love it.
App update
The app was fantastic before this new update. It is awful now. It doesn’t load. Death spiral every time I have tried in the last 6 days. Tried in WiFi tried in cellular. I have also tried to shut down my phone and boot back up, same outcome. Please fix it!
Great app overall, but…
I’ve enjoyed using this app for business transactions and looking at my account. One less star, though, because I find the mapping function for finding branch locations to be clunky, confusing, and not user-friendly.
Completely different from what you see.
Don’t know why, but 5 Star decided to change appearance removing the sectional organizing leaving accounts listed top to bottom. Fonts are light on while background. What I’m saying is what you see is not what you will have to work with. Love Summit, just find new changes in appearance more cumbersome. Still trying to find my way to access VISA account data.

Nothing but problems
Absolutely terrible the app never works. It keeps my card locked overnight. I can’t unlock it. Just a lot of problems with this bank.
Liked the old version better
I am not fond of the new bills/pay tab. I liked the old se up better. It was easier to navigate.
Ease of use
This app has all the functions as being on the desktop. Easy to maneuver around very well laid out.
The app is a waste of time
My card is stuck locked. I’m forced to leave my car and walk. No emergency phone line.
Not great
Minimal features. Wire transfers to other institutions, finding helpful support, accessing customer service is slow and cumbersome, or not even possible through the app.

Every other day there is a bug, and I can’t access my information. Now I have turned my card off because it’s misplaced & for some odd reason the app won’t let me turn my card to active. How ironic it can’t be because the app is always messing up could it. MINOR inconvenience. I have no access to MY OWN money.
Making a deposit
It tells me to rotate phone to take a picture, it actually takes me 6-10 minutes for it to rotate correctly! Very aggravating.
My new favorite savings account
This app is great. I use it to track my round-up savings!
Love summit not this app
I’ve been with summit for a long time and I live by the app to manage my $$$. On fridays the app shuts down, I have to write down everything I spend. Then days later charges that were there disappear then re appears to make you go negative when you already thought it was accounted for!! This app needs to be fix then summit will be 100 % the best!!!!!
Can longer do mobile check deposits
Can’t do mobile check deposits since IOS 16. Please fix as the app is not usable without that.

Check deposit broken
As others have said, I can no longer deposit a check properly using the app. I try to take a picture, and the app freezes and won’t take the image. Everything is up to date.
Mobile check deposit no longer working
I’ve used this app for years but suddenly when I try to take a picture of a check to deposit the screen is all blurry and it won’t allow you to do so anymore. I have the most up to date version and it’s no useless.

Latest version doesn’t know when I change camera orientation
I needed to deposit a check into my account to cover a purchase and the app tells me to rotate my camera. Well I rotate the camera every which way possible but the app doesn’t recognize any change at all. So n

Bluetooth tracking, interesting. Beacons in branch locations I suspect, just would really like to see this explained.

I’ve been banking with Summit since my company started our direct deposit. I’ve never had any trouble with them and when I’ve made a mistake they’ve always help me figure it out. Now that I’ve retired I’m staying with them.
Mobile check deposit is broken
2022.06.001 version no longer allows the iPhone 13 Pro camera to focus so you can do a mobile check deposit. Very frustrating!!!
