Fantastic banking app
User friendly and highly functional
Can’t enter auth code
When I try to log in it accepts my user and password, but when it asks for my auth code, I swipe away to get it and when I swipe back the app displays only the UWCU logo and is completely locked up.
Widget when?
Is there going to be a widget released? I have a couple of widgets from other banks and credit unions. A widget missing for this app is the only reason I don't give it 5 stars.
Not polished
The app is designed quite poorly. Transactions randomly fail with unclear error messages like “try again later”. Requests for money received in email don’t open transaction when clicking on the email link. In fact the request is no where to be found in the app (or at least not intuitively). The login process is quite clunky as well. I don’t use this banking app much but these quality of life features could be easily implemented.
Balance hard to read
I like the app, I like how everything is but the balances are too hard to understand for a new member like me!! I literally hate the bubbles! Have the balances BELOW the transaction amount! :/
Two Factor Authentication Not Working on iPhone
Love the app, however awhile back my two factor stopped working correctly. I use 1Password which has two factor integration and normally when logging in I can just hit paste in the authentication box. But for some reason it won’t paste and I have to open 1Password to manually copy. This feature works on my iPad and I’ve tried resetting authentication without any luck. It works for a couple days and then stops. Anyway hopefully just a bug but otherwise it’s a great app.

Recent builds of the app on recent iOS versions appear sluggish or slow when attempting to login. Receiving a “taking longer than expected” error on init boot. Bias is device uses commercial vpn, so any security config against known vpn nodes are likely causing delay or rate limiting on the app.
App Won’t Login or Re-Download
I’ve been using the UWCU app for a few months now but within the last week or so, I haven’t been able to login. I just get an error message saying the app isn’t working right now. I tried to delete the app and redownload it from the Apple Store, but now it won’t even download. A little frustrating that I have to log in on a safari browser every time I need to access my banking information.

It does not work
The app is broken and does not work. I’m sick and tired of trying to login every month and having to call in. You need to fix it or remove it from the App Store and allow us to login online. This is unacceptable.

Solid software, have never felt as though my bank app lacked functionality and on the contrary I think it has more functionality that other apps, summit, Wells Fargo etc.

Lack of card tools
This app doesn’t have all of my cards attached to it.
Didn’t know how good I had it…
…until I tried switching to a different credit union. Holy cow. *This* app ACTUALLY WORKS — its numbers are accurate, its functions are quick and work well, it makes login both easy AND secure. It’s not flashy, I guess, but who wants ”flashy” from their *bank*? Instead it gives off “quiet competence”. I’ve since switched back to UWCU and won’t be changing anytime soon.
Mobile check deposit feature faulty and unreliable
The mobile check deposit feature has been really buggy the last few months. Lets me take a picture of the front of the check, and then deletes the picture when I try to go to the next step like I never took the picture. What gives? Very frustrating when you rely on the convenience of mobile deposit and cannot anticipate whether it will work that day or not. Please fix!
Bad updates
I updated the app like they asked and now Zelle isn’t working. An update that gets released before making sure the basic services aren’t glitching is embarrassing in 2026.

For some reason the app it’s now a blank screen. Even when trying to access uwcu online brings me to the app with a dark screen, unable to accesses anything.

Amazing App - Keeps Me Banking with UWCU
This is an absolutely amazing app, I’ve used it for years and have rarely had issues. I truly trust UWCU and enjoy banking with them because of this experience! I highly recommend banking with UWCU and using the app.

This app is hot garbage. Refuses to login after authentication and so slow. I have to open and close the app at least 3 times just to get to home screen.

Impossible to find how to activate my new credit card with the app as the letter that came with the card says I can
