Free(but not!)
I was searching for the free courses. Everything under the free course once I hit the enroll button, says this course costs $49. Yonsei university Korean course on there is supposed to be free. But then says $49 once you tap the enroll button. You can go to the website for the information yonsei university or jesong university and you can do the language course there free. TTMIK is also free. This has a paywall for every course now.
Subscription issue
How we can update the account details for subscription unable to find any such option via mobile phone
Ummm
So far learned a lot but sometimes I’ll read something I’ll do an assignment or do one of those feedback assignments and an error will pop up or it’ll say I didn’t complete it. It’s kind of weird that sometimes on my computer it’ll say one thing on my phone. It’ll say another it makes things really confusing and hard to keep track of.
$49 a month for it not to work half the time
Always getting pop ups saying "something's not right" whenever I try to finish an assignment or reading.
Rocky start but I’m having fun
It’s been really nice.. actually
Disappointing App
Pretty much strips all functionality apart from watching videos. Forgot about trying to get on the website while you have the app installed.
Text to speech
It will be really nice is the app incorporates a text to speech feature.
Good app
Good
Hard to navigate compared to website version
Trying to navigate the app is much more confusing compared to accessing Coursera through the website.
Great
Work where ever you’re at
Annoying popups
Stop asking my opinion of your app. Have a single star.
It’s not having full screen in iPad
It’s good that we have application for iPad but need to fix some bug,so that it can fix with full screen
App Won’t Stay Awake
While watching videos in a course the screen keeps sleeping even if the video is full screen
Video/audio player not accessible for blind users
Audio player is not accessible for people using screen readers and the normal shortcut keys to navigate videos do not work. It would be great if they make there audio/video player accessible because otherwise it’s super fustrating
Incredible Resource
So thankful for the courses and education I have at my fingertips with Coursera’s courses. Thank you!!!
Feedback pop ups are annoying
I actually really like the platform and the first time you asked for feedback I gave you five stars, but after every single quiz and every single video, I’m being asked to give another review and I’m super annoyed with it and it really degrades the experience in the platform
Python
I am learning python but when I use the python built in it doesn’t pop up an input when I write something like pay = input(“pay:”) And instead tells to retype
Do not like the update for pushing people to do a course with a fee premeditated, bring back audits.
Earlier coursera had an option to audit a course. I was one of the audit fellows who explores a course enough to invest in it. If the course I have invested doesn’t give me benefits my money is being wasted which I am not grateful for.I would like to have the audit option back to all courses irrespective of the specialisations as well. I can attend courses, then get certificate for ones that are relavent to career. I belong to basic sciences committee and there’s not enough courses worth exploring in coursera currently.
Exam results not working properly
Exam results not showing properly. Previous attempts data showing on the result scores
Good course
If you are looking to learn more hop on the app
So much for the “FREE” courses
Total bait and switch when you read any promoted article a extolling the virtues of free certification programs with Coursera. Not a single one of them are free any longer.
Content good but getting several errors
The content is very helpful and the way that course is structured is very good but after completing some assignments I am getting errors before finding out my score results.
**2.5 — Login system needs an update**
Mobile login is smooth, but on desktop and Apple TV you're still stuck with old-school username/password — no SSO, no biometrics, no passkey support, nothing. For a platform teaching modern software and programming, that's a glaring gap. Fix the login experience on non-mobile devices.
Bug Report
Tables don’t show up in the app. I’m doing a Harvard Business Review on Creating High-Functioning Teams and often it will say something like, “Notice these Signs of Burnout:” with no additional information. Come to find out on the computer there are tables but those tables don’t show up on the app
Great
Great
straight scammers
After 7-days free they automatically take 24.50 from your bank account didn’t even ask just took it, and they don’t let you refund because “you could cancel anytime” when we could forget about this all the time because is not a priority thought, and in their policy we SPECIFICALLY can’t refund id we do a payment after our free trial end, it probably is a tactic to get money from us. awesome
Back button
There is no back button
Unable to go further the payment thing.
I recently made an account, wanted to do courses in defence studies, international relations, strategies, but unable to go ahead of the payment process. Everytime I get a message to try again. Please help with it. Thank you
Link for sale is not working
Got email with 50% offer. When click on save now it’s not working. Tried on 4 devices
Amazing course
Thanks for your cooperation 🙏
No longer free courses
Just reinstalled after not using for a year and noticed that you cannot audit courses anymore. Must pay $50 a month to use now. Seems like they abandoned their original philosophy
So far, so philosophical…
Getting to grips with the relationships between psychology and metaphysics is, to choose a neutral word, engaging.
Courses are great, but unable to subscribe easily
Do not set up a subscription unless you 100% want to be charged monthly in perpetuity. They make it near impossible to cancel your subscription without some how finding customer support (they don’t make it easy to find either), and going through them. I ended up just deleting my credit card info from my profile so they couldn’t charge me anymore.
Refresh issue maybe?
After quizzes the app says I chose the wrong answer when in fact I did.
Thank you!
So happy tarot is on here!!
Give me my money back
App is fine, but I canceled my subscription so why am I still getting charged for it?
Good app, a few glitches
The content itself is great, absolutely amazing! There are a few problems with the app though. For starters, the ui is navigable but could use some clean-up. Secondly, there are occasional words or symbols that are meant to be in there but end up just being a random string of characters like 1#lsfw or something like that. If you are able to, I would recommend using the website.
URGENT RESPONSE NEEDED- unauthorised money deduction
I have been paying monthly subscription since January and decided to end it this month. My coursera plus payment was Rs 2099/monthly on autopay. I canceled my subscription a day before the payment was supposed to be made, 18 hours later I received email for a deduction of 2800 rupees which is Rs 701 more than my subscription value. And the app still shows subscription canceled, yet deducted money from my account. I tried every possible way to check why it happened, bank also said its on the Merchant. I emailed on Coursera Support and there’s no response yet. I requested to refund my money & to answer why extra money is deducted l. What kind of Scam are you guys doing? There’s no telephonic contact & certainly no response to my mail. I need urgent reply and resolution to all of this.
Frequent bugs
App freezes way too often.
Excellent
Exactly what I am looking for.
Can not login to other account
As titled
A very good introduction to metaphysics for those with some prior experience of philosophy
This is an interesting and, on the whole, very clear introduction to many of the central topics in metaphysics. I haven’t come across anything like it elsewhere. The lecturer and Erasmus University are to be applauded for making an intermediate-level course on this central area of philosophy available to the general public. Note that the auto-generated subtitles are often inaccurate and misleading, and therefore best ignored if possible. This shortcoming is a feature of the platform and is not unique to this course. However, it’s worth noting here because precision in this subject is so important.
Cold inflexible business model
Subscription renewed automatically after promo expired. Contacted support immediately, hadn’t used the service at all, but refund was denied due to policy. Content is good due to partners, but billing flexibility and customer service is disappointing.
Language
I miss my mother tongue HINDI
Excellent learning platform
Coursera is amazing app for learning new skill and getting professional certification
Coursera too may requests
Within about five minutes of signing up for the service and starting my first course, I am temporarily blocked with the message that I have made too many requests. No information on what caused it. Apparently I will have to wait somewhere between 30 minutes and 24 hours. Bummer.
O
Reflection exercises not working in the application, I have to open from web
Doesn’t open enrolled courses
Keeps telling me to try again in a few minutes
Inconvenience
App feels incomplete and lacks few simple features that are desktop exclusive apparently. (Ex. Assignments)
