Chat function not optimised for mobile
When attempting to use chat functionality, user is Unable to Navigate within the app to search for policy info. If navigating to search for Required information then going back to chat you have lost your current session / Discussion with the consultant.
Constantly wants you to log in every single use
Doesn’t stay logged in which means no notifications. A secure device doesn’t necessitate having to fully log into an app every time you use it. The app should stay logged in and only need to be unlocked.

Look, we all know insurance companies are like banks. They pretend they’re only here for us but their sole purpose is to generate profits. Fair enough. Still, NRMA are pretty good to deal with. If you have to give someone your money, it’s best to give it to someone you stand a chance with of getting it back when you need it! That’s NRMA
Great Company Poor App
Great company great reputation great Roadside Assist assistance very efficient in fact but letdown by a terrible app that is very clunky logging in is a total mission requiring two factor authentication not once but twice plus Sms and even then it doesn’t log you in and then to access Roadside Assist assistance within the app requires a third login. There’s no UI flow

Allows me to perform all the required tasks to manage my policy and claims. Can take a long time or require multiple attempts before retrieving info. Logins don’t always work the first time

Constant log in/account issues
I love the convenience of having an app, when it actually works. I keep getting put in a log in loop error where it sends me to the website to log in via that, successfully verifies with 2 factor but then gives me a “something went wrong, try again later or contact us” message when it tries to go back to the app. I’ve tried just logging in on the website without going via the app and the same issue occurs. Could you fix this, I don’t want to have to call to get a solution, I just want the app to work!
New updated App
Not happy at all as I now cannot view anything on my mobile as of the new app update. I try to update but not happening. As I have iPhone 8plus guess it dosent work. I have been with NRMA many many years I’m now so disappointed. 😡😡😡

Claim history cant be found
I was emailed informing me that I can see my claims history in my policy section. I’ve looked everywhere and it’s not there
Caravan insurance
Sev was excellent to deal with. I had a revised price on my policy and the revised lay up cover saved me $399. The call was completed within 10 minutes
CTP
NRMA would not match CTP quote from another insurer. Lost my custom for CTP and will more than likely lose my custom for Comprehensive insurance when it becomes due. I saved $66 by comparing the quotes on the Services NSW link and I will definitely compare quotes in future.
Buggy, needs proper testing before release
Can’t access my green slip policy. Your web page redirected me to “former online portal” that’s not even working. Getting error: {"title":"Internal Server Error","status":500,"detail":"Contact Customer support"}. Does anyone test these web pages before putting them online?
Average and getting worse
As NRMA’s service continues to degrade so does it app. Slow, too many authentications and then it doesn’t provide the functionality it should. Sad !

I cannot change my policy details before expiry in order to renew and therefore my home and contents will not be covered as I am required to call which I cannot do from overseas! Frustrating!
Why bother
App now requires you to log in each time to access it. Might as well just use the website and save having it in the phone

Excellent help on the phone. Agent reduced the cost by $400. The cost of living at the moment is crazy, so every little bit of savings helps.
Useless
Only half of it works for me, errors when trying to change policy details and also trying to make a claim. You still have to call them anyway.

Disappointed
I have been a happy member for a very long time - but I have an apple 8 (as need the button on it) and can not update to IOS 17. All other apps work, I do not need extra abilities above the previous app version. So now I can not be aware of the due date for policies let alone pay them from my phone. NRMA “help” and provide a simple app without excessive bells & whistles for those of the NRMA community who are low tech and do not embrace change - please.

The app is very temperamental and you need to log in several times also my number for an sms is not what is on my records so I have to verify by email. Please fix it

TAM tech adoption model - ease of use & usefulness NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
Good day, areas for improvement WEBSITE & Policy documents 1) the POLICY No & address must be easily found…. Adjacent, above or below each other. Shouldn’t have to scroll thru multiple drop-down menus to find which policy goes with which property and/or type (house or landlord), add hyper links to key documents : policy, payment history, details. 2) fix links - I repeatedly an rec’d error msg trying to access policy certificate &/or invoice MIT Prof FD DAVIS empirically tested end user use of tech systems - 1985, his findings transformed how software was developed… CONCLUDING it’s vital to design for EASE OF USE, & USEFULNESS. You would think that as we pay so much to stay insured NRMA would appreciate the fact not all of us can update our hardware and older versions of devices to receive updates too.
App is ok but needs improving
App is quite good but needs to update quicker after policy changes. I made a change over the phone and it still stated - view my renewal and I had already confirmed my renewal. Also stated that payment details were missing for my renewal but they never changed?
