I wanted to make a contribution and the app now needs me to reverify and I CANT. I don’t have to option to even allow this to use Face ID I don’t under what’s going on with this app after the upgrade for more security. And I think it’s dumb on the website you can’t do contribution by bank transfer or direct debit. Only BPAY??? I don’t want to deal with BPAY even commsec doesn’t do bpay anymore
No longer loads
Weirdly since the war in Iran began the app no longer loads for me. Making it hard to see how far my super has fallen during this time

App won’t load
I open the app and it just has a loading circle. It is up to date. Can’t see my super balance, thanks
New update breaks login
I can’t even log in now, yep you’ve made it so secure I can’t use my member number or even an email or phone number to verify it’s me. I can’t log in now without magically using another device I don’t have to verify it’s me….thanks!
Potential Improvements
I have been using the app since I got my first job at 15. While I appreciate some of the recent updates, a few important features have been removed. For example, the app no longer shows the number of units you own. When I realised this had disappeared, I tried logging in on the website but could not find the information there either. Please bring this back. It does not make sense to report unit prices if the number of units owned is not shown in the app or online. It would also be helpful to have an estimated return for the financial year, so users can see how their super is performing. AustralianSuper provides this and it is very clear. I like the investment comparison feature, but it would be better if users could enter their own super balance instead of choosing a selected figure e.g, $10,000. It would also be useful to have a breakdown showing how much money has been salary sacrificed or deposited as non-concessional contributions, rather than listing everything under “other contributions.” Furthermore, for this to apply to filtering information in the app as well.
Terrible app
Cannot sign in, requiring a form of security I’ve never even heard of before. Honestly thinking of switching super, shouldn’t be this hard being able to view my own funds
Face ID
What has happened to Face Recognition? Why do I need to go and look for my Membership number each time now. It was easier before. And don’t get me started on how difficult it is to get insurance, seems like discrimination to me.
Rest app
Absolutely useless app, it signed me out and I can’t access the app anymore. I have tried a myriad of ways to reset my password but it doesn’t accept the new password and I get locked out. I much prefer the old app.
Still can’t use it 2026
Hesitant to use passkeys but it’s a great app. Tried to setup Authenticator in iOS and no luck, rest app would work with it. Relunctantly signed in to Google Chrome, setup passkeys, added a passkey. Tried to login and got an error “Unable to meet the authentication requirements imposed by acr_values parameter.” REST, I don’t know what values you set or why it doesn’t work but if you value your members you’ll get this fixed and expand your troubleshooting faq’s!!
“PASSKEY BARRIER”
App worked fine for years on my iPhone, quick & easy to see super and balance. Now the app upgraded security features, there’s no way to bypass the “add a passkey” option. The app says to “log into your chrome” and then nothing. Cannot use the app to login anymore. Many users have made complaints. Still no fix. I understand upgrading security, but this is a technical issue on RESTS side. Would gladly add Face ID if possible. All my other apps use it. Please hurry up and fix the issue!

Absolute Garbage
The audacity of this organisation to stop us from logging into our account. The app is absolute garbage. I can’t log in from the app. I don’t even know where the money is. Called them, they can’t help us or give us any info. I am leaving this super ASAP, and you should too. I can’t believe I am with them for the last 17 years. Disgusting.
Won’t let me login
Won’t let me login without forcing me to make a passkey. I’m not going to make one. Perhaps I need to join a super that I can access without this hassle

Can’t change notification settings, and they don’t work anyway. Needs to be fixed
