Terrible customer service!!
Ok
Updates have fixed most bugs. It does what it needs to do, although I can no longer have it open to my Watchlist as the default opening view. So that’s a minor annoyance that I have to click through to it every time I open the app.
App needs fixing
Whenever I’m in my list of stocks I scroll down to the list and after I stop scrolling it places me back at the top of my lists and takes 2-4 tries of scrolling for it to stop, very annoying and needs to be fixed
No Apple Watch companion app with latest update???
Great but removal of Apple Watch app is a real backward disappointing move. Please bring it back!
Great app
Recent changes to the app have greatly improved the user experience.
no more macOS support?
Why was it removed?

How do I receive notifications on my accounts.
App needs an UPDATE to 2025
Could you please fix the bug where it does not show the international wallet performance in the main page? (Not the web-based but within the app) I always need to launch the platform to see the performance of each stock, and they do not even follow real market performance, bad
Trade history
Only thing that bothers me is not being able to see trade history, price averaging and total no of shares is great; however, cannot track my trade lots. I wish commsec can update to show the details of old trades.
One of the best apps.
One of the best apps out there. Little concerned that the new purchase interface might be a little too simplistic for those of us not just buying x lots of ETFs. Minor gripe.
App crash try to buy shares at nyse
App crashes limiting opportunity to buy, bad experience. Lot of other bug I am observing from such a big brand banking & regarded as tech banking product organization. Disappointed
No live trading updates
There is no live trading price going on with buy and sell pages. Previous versions were better. Even you cannot open different page in app while you are on buy or sell page you need to go back. Previous versions were better for a trader perspective.
Stop loss
Great app but can we please get a function added so we can set stop loss on the app?
Auto-investment / International performance / ETF pages / USD no auto-conversion
Suggested Improvements: • Introduce auto-investment features, including Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) and Enhanced DCA options. (Or build a new app? Called Commsec auto/intelligent investor?) • Integrate international stock performance directly to "Portfolio" within the app (without redirecting to a browser). While it may be useful for other users, I personally don’t focus on short-term performance, and charts don’t encourage me to trade frequently. • Create a dedicated ETF page to make navigation and investment management more convenient. • Add an option to set USD as the default currency, preventing automatic conversion to AUD when selling U.S. stocks
I want to trade in $, not units!
The new app only accepts orders in no. of units. So I you want to buy, say $5000 worth you need to fiddle to find the right number of units, which you can’t predict if its an at market order! Sucks big time
Hate the new buy/sell page
I don’t know why they had to change the buy sell. It already cost me money. :(
Ken
Lots of information but no help starting a international a/c as on iPhone just seem to go round and round to nowhere helpful
Great Trading app
Awesome app. Very clean app to seamlessly trade on ur phone. Thx CBA
Digital inequality
The decision to only support phones with newer iOSs is disappointing and feels unfair to users who cannot afford to upgrade their devices regularly. Not everyone has the financial ability to purchase the latest phone, so restricting access based on device age can disproportionately exclude lower-income users. While updating technology is understandable, developers should consider supporting older devices for longer so affordability doesn’t become a barrier to accessing the app. Overall, the app risks contributing to the digital divide rather than providing an inclusive experience for all users.
New icon is awful
Bring back the old icon or give us the option to change please.
Widget is broken
This has been a great app and provides a lot of trading and research functionality. However the Home Screen widget was something I used regularly and now it seems to suddenly be gone. This makes the app less useful.
Grumpy customer
I don’t want to update anything. And if I did why would you need my account details. Things were working fine until you needed an update. I’m finished.
Don’t like the new icon
Why use the similar icon to the commbank app?
New App Icon. Why?
Can’t understand why there was a need to rebrand the old icon. Almost identical to the CBA banking app which is painful. At least give us the option to change this if required. Many other apps do.

Still no dark mode!
Give us back dark mode!
Weak trading platform
Ok App for really basic buy/sell. Improvements suggested: - Executed order should state execution date/time and not by when order was placed. - should be able to see current mark price on the outstanding order page - need to see percentage for day price change
Is not supported on my iPhone
Just opened the app on my iPhone 7 that has the latest updated iOS on it, both phone and iOS is supported by Apple and the phone gets all security updates. However the CommSec app will not upgrade or run on my phone, it requires iOS 17 and above, iOS will not run on my phone! My choices are to upgrade my phone or change to a broker that has an app that will run on my phone. As this phone is perfect for my use and still supported by Apple and will not be forced into updating the phone by Commsec. There is nothing stopping Commsec having a version for this phone and iOS and the new version, CommBank / CommSec you have really disgraced yourself on this one.
Useless
This app doesn’t let you see your international portfolio, it will just open it with your device’s browser. What’s the point of making an app if you’re going to do this??
International share trading
When will Commsec allow us to trade internationally directly through the app? The domestic trading is awesome so why is the international part so terrible?
Can’t run it
The app no longer runs on iphone 8.
Need to add cash transfer
Super frustrating that to move cash in/out of my trading account I have to go to the web
Could be much better
A great way to see my current portfolio, but there are many improvements that could make this app much better. TouchId? Option of opening on Portfolio page instead of Watchlist? What about an iOS Widget? Watch out because once Robinhood launches in Australia you will look very dated.
iOS 17 or above not available on my iPad
App has stopped working on my iPad. Got the latest version of IOS available but not supported by commsec. Very disappointed. Will need to start using NABTRADE now.
