Absolutely garbage
Whoever helped make this app i definitely wouldn’t pat myself on the back, imagine stealing my money already and making it damn near impossible to pay you. Hope this company burns honestly.

The only complaint is when I go to bill pay it says it can load, but I x out of it and it goes to bill pay.
Run by National 3rd Party, App and Overall Service Not Great
This is the first credit union I’ve dealt with that has outsourced their online and phone customer service to a national 3rd party, this doesn’t appear to really be a traditional state credit union outside of having local physical branches. Due to errors in merging with another bank, response times in app are non-existent. The app is firmly stuck in 2014. Credit score hasn’t updated since Dec of last year, Zelle is unavailable, drop menus stick, some functions point to dead weblinks or a secondary app. The AI assistant is useless. I’m having to keep my old account at another bank open purely because they have Zelle.
Mixed up priorities
It seems that the designers of this app put the highest priority on the user being able to move and delete the account level widgets, to the point that’s it’s ridiculously easy to do so by accident. Why?!?! How did this get through User Acceptance Testing? Horrible experience.

Apps aren't working after prompting app updates
I have been having issues with both Va Credit Union apps since they prompted me to update them a few wks ago, the no longer recognize my login credentials & say my email is not the one they have on file for me when I try to reset my password & user IDs. It's frustrating to say the least, not sure what I'm going to do at this point, I can't bank with the apps all of a sudden, I've had them forever & never had problems til now!

The site is well organized with useful tools but too many login errors with system messages. It’s unnerving to have purchase declined from site access issue. Then you can’t login to see what’s happening. This is a more recent issue.

The worst
I have no idea how this app has 4 stars. It is horrible. I get stuck on random screens and then can’t get back to see my balance. It is so outdated. The worst banking app I’ve ever used.
Great, when it works
It works for periods of time, but then will not show accounts for long periods of time, making it not useful for checking anything. It usually is 2 months of working to 1 month of not working.
Always on Time!
As someone who doesn’t live in VA any longer the app is my lifeline! I can conduct all my business through it!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽love it’s functionality and ease of use!
TERRIBLE
I can’t believe I stayed as long as I did. If banking was a hotel, they would be the Motel 6. It’s banking from the 1980’s.
Good enough, was better
The old app was faster, had less little annoyances and irritations. This overhauled version works well enough, just slightly worse in most aspects.

I’ve had my VACU account for several years. I have not had 1 single bad experience. The customer service and ease of assistance is phenomenal. Sending messages through the mobile app is super easy and you always get a red back. When I want instant help, I resort to calling and that is just as simple. Thank you VACU for great service. I’m so happy to be a valued member.
Lousy
Took over previous credit union and rollout required re-initiation of all scheduled auto bill-pay. Mobile deposit system does bait accurately read checks and fails to deposit. Cannot link account to another financial tracking app.
Would like just one app
Separating the credit card app from the main app makes things so much more challenging. Wish there was just one app that covered everything.

Awful app
This is the worst banking app I've ever seen. The screen constantly changes and inevitably you pick the wrong account you wanted. If you leave your finger for a moment too long, it moves that account all the way to the bottom. I have given up on trying to organize my accounts how I want to see them because they'll never be there for more than a few days. Awful development, you could do better, VACU.
