Please Update/Fix Lagging Issue
This app needs to be updated. Nearly every time I open the app it doesn’t show pending purchases. Only shows current balance with posted purchases. This morning it didn’t show anything at all due to an error. Please fix these issues!

If you need to sign back in it flashes and if you have epilepsy that could cause you to have a seizure YOU NEED TO FIX THAT. And you need to stop charging people that are on a fixed income or get paid from Social Security. I belonged to a brick and mortar Bank years ago that if your checks came from the government they waved all fees. And there are enough web banks now that you will lose my business if you keep charging fees
Slow isn’t an improvement
Slow slow slow after so called improvement. Any test it?
Real-time Balances
The overall experience is good. We would appreciate improvements in two areas: (1) the balances shown in checking accounts do not always reflect tea-time amounts, especially when larger amounts are being processed. It shows them posted but the balance does not reflect it. (2) It would be great to see posted transactions in the order they were processed. It seems that the newly posted transactions are listed below or scattered among posted transactions from previous days. Thank you!

Mobile App provides great access and it permit questions to be posed with fairly quick replies. My only suggestion would be quicker alert issuance.

Pretty dumb that you can’t access loan pay plus, for a car loan, on the app. It’s a towne bank loan …. That you can’t access on the towne bank app ….

Unlike most other regional and national banks, this mobile banking app is simple to access and easy to navigate.
What a pain to setup
I understand security measures, TowneBank is ridiculous. Vague instructions, had to go to an office to help get enrolled, logged into App. Then wait 24 hrs to be approved, then on 1st logon attempt, have to answer the phone, to an automated message, and after calling twice neither options worked to let me login. I am about ready to close the account and haven’t had it a week. 👎👎

5 star Banking experience
Of the banks I have had a relationship with the staff and services from TowneBank far exceed all others. I particularly am happy I am able to access my funds in TowneBank from any ATM without concern for additional usage fees. It is a valuable perk! Staff at all locations I have used are friendly and helpful in so many ways!
The camera no longer comes up easily to make a deposit
I used to be able to do a mobile deposit immediately and easily. Now the new app tells me to rotate my phone but the screen stays black and I can’t take a photo….. sometimes if I stick with rotating and tapping for a few minutes the camera will appear but I rarely have that time. Is it a bug in the new app??

Worst
TowneBank recently bought a regional bank I’ve been with after moving to Virginia. They are the worst! Applied spending limits on my debit card and Zelle that did not previously exist while with the other bank, going to be late one rent because of poor communication on their end. Closing my account as soon as this is handled!

TowneBank Mobile banking is so easy to use and of course I appreciate all the staff with TowneBank. Friendly and genuinely helpful!
They charge one transaction twice on available balance
When I spend on my debit card. MasterCard presents the transaction as a an authorization and then it presents it as a finalized transaction anyway, both of those the exact same transaction end up coming out of my available balance. Horrible horrible bank can’t wait to close my account

Gave it 1 star because every time I open the app it continuously ask me to rate it. Thats so annoying
Nice App
The app works well, but they provide no way to pay down the principal on a loan. I called and they don’t have any way to help. You would have to mail extra payments and hope they apply it appropriately. I would have rated less, but I hope they read this and improve their app and mend this policy.

I have a car loan and can’t make payments from my other accounts outside of Towne Bank.

terrible company do
terrible company scummy people that steal from your bank as much as they want and lie constantly. their service is also terrible. do yourself a favor save your money your time and headache and just use navy federal . townebank has a mandatory minimum that i had in my bank and despite having it they would charge the fee and ontop of the 20$ feee because THEY put you in the negative they now also want a negative fee of 100$+ i've paid over 1,000$ to these scummy people . . terrible people with terrible business ethics
