Very outdated banking app
The functionality is outdated, there are a lot of features expected that are missing. For example: Virtual Debit Cards, 2-FA with Authenticator app, Passkeys, and more… even changing basic info in the account is hard.

Ghosting on iPad
I’ve been experiencing very strange “ghost touch” issues on my iPad for the past couple of months, with windows opening on their own and the screen behaving as if someone were interacting with it. At first, I thought it was a hardware problem. I factory reset the iPad, changed the charging cable, and spent a lot of time troubleshooting. After seeking technical advice and a lot of trial and error, I finally discovered that the issue only occurred when the Truist app was running in the background. Since identifying this, the problem has disappeared completely. This has been extremely frustrating and time-consuming, which is why I’m giving the app one star. I honestly couldn’t believe that a banking app could cause this kind of behavior. I’m curious whether other users have experienced similar issues. Hopefully, the developers can investigate and address it in a future update.

Not fit for overseas customers
It is impossible to make anything but small transfers from Truist unless you have a wire pin. Unfortunately, when Truist took over from SunTrust they stopped sending out wire pins by post which means the only way to get one is to call in a local branch. It is almost unbelievable that customer reps don’t seem to see the problem for a non-US resident, do they seriously think you can just hop on a plane and go o a local branch, complete lunacy!! Escalated complaints do not get answered and my nominated branch (Kissimmee) has never bothered to return call despite my many requests for urgent attention. I have no way of getting my money out and Truist are not interested, they are a joke of a bank for overseas customers.

As I’m an overseas customer, the system doesn’t recognise my mobile phone number and as such I have to do everything with emails. Otherwise…all good.
