App crashes
I can’t get the app to stay open. It immediately crashes. Uninstalled and reinstalled it but still crashes. Hopefully at the next update it will get fixed. In the meantime, I miss the content.
Good articles, lots of ads
Theres so many inline ads in the app that it makes it extremely difficult to read. The screen constantly jumps around while you’re reading. What am I paying for?

Notifications
Hello, Great articles.. one issue I’ve been having is with the notifications. When you open a notification it takes you to the story on a browser page rather than in the app and doesn’t recognise that you have a BI account and then pulls up the subscription pricing.

It would be better if it was more about business and less about politics. Even the business articles have a particular political slant to them.

Recent update won't let me open the app anymore. Other than that, I've never had any problems. Great content.
A shift away from objective quality
Over the past year, the once consistent BI seems to have shifted its editorial focus from quality business thinking to trashy tabloid fanaticism. A second star is only justified based on history. Readers need unbiased sources on critical business issues that present both sides of the story and allow the readers to draw conclusions, not this mainstream, politically influenced thinking that has dominated its focus.

Stopped working on my Iphone8
I’ve had the app for almost a year and now it suddenly stopped working on my Iphone8, I really enjoyed reading all the news that the teams post on here so please help fix this problem.

If they would take the hint of bias out of their writing, I’d find it a worthwhile source of news.

I receive the emails for insider on my laptop and they are very good, I downloaded the app so I can read it on the move, the fortunate me it does not work very well with VoiceOver, I just wondered if you might be able to look into this please.

I am pleased with this lovely iOS application.
Spam
Don’t download because it will flood your email with spam emails. I normally don’t bother with these reviews but finally realizing where the source of thousands of spam emails are coming from I felt compelled to say something. I first tried to delete them everyday. However, I’ve realized I can’t fight hundreds of emails each day. In a matter of a couple of days I will receive over 3000 emails from all the emails affiliated with the app and their third party marking

Sometimes the app closes when I scroll too far.
Expensive App for Little to No Good Stories
The monthly to yearly rate is very expensive. I would suspect that Insider has invested a lot of money in their marketing department, but little in their journalist and reporters. All articles have headlines that make it appear that there will be some good advice or different ways of accomplishing something. After reading multiple articles throughout the past months, they’re all so tone deaf or lack any real evidence of anything. I’ll be happy not to renew my subscription.
App not working
App hasn’t worked for a few weeks. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it, but to no avail. That aside, it’s a good app when it used to work.

When I checked to renew, it said first year $49 and subsequent years $99. But Apple says it charged $99 for the first year!

Hi, I am currently using the Application on my iPhone and I mostly prefer reading before I go to bed. Just a small feedback that it would be very helpful if there would be a kind of a night mode as reducing my phones brightness to minimum and switch to night light mode aswell it still strain my eyes and I am unable to read more than 3 Articles. Saved Articles Does Not Work
The App Developers pay for Reviews. The ability to save articles still does not work after over 5 years of complaints. Don’t trust the reviews when the app itself verifiably doesn’t work.

Going After Paying Subscribers, BI?
Do NOT appreciate every time I bookmark an article being asked to login or create a profile. Also noticed that article updates don’t happen as quickly as used to. The best content is being held back for subscribers obviously now as well. Definitely miss the old BI. It was my go to for news. Not anymore.
iPad problems
The content in the app is great but the app is not optimised for iPads, and doesn't support flip between vertical and horizontal viewing.

Don’t like marketing system
The reason for 1 ⭐️ is because I don’t like that you have to pay to read news when in internet you can read it for free this new app have to change the way you marketing making people pay for something you can get for free plus it look to simple

Trial Subscription scam
Signed up for what appeared to be a trial subscription, made multiple good faith attempts to cancel the subscription within 2 business days through Apple and through Business Insider. Unfortunately, after multiple email exchanges with Business Insider I'm stuck with an annual subscription for $49 that cannot be canceled. Very very misleading marketing - deceptive bait and switch business practice. Surprising Apple allows this to occur on their platform as this type of activity is ripe for a class action.

Great content and variety, but increasingly limited/blocked access to certain articles getting hit up for subscription charges. Have also found the app very laggy and getting frozen recently, randomly shuts down.
Search issue
Whenever I try to search for something a few minutes later, this thing pops up ”search query timed out. Please try again.” Otherwise, everything is good so far.
