Great UI
New UI is amazing

App fails to open or respond
App quite good but broken post search bar move
I’m no longer able to save articles as the app isn’t recognising the search bar layer. It’s picking up clicks on the underlying layer so when I go to save it switches to the Interests tab instead. Tried reporting this in app but the support process is poor i.e. the chat bot is very limited and only recognises a small number of topics so it’s not a chatbot more of a script selector.
New App Downgrade
The app now displays a narrow column of news stories in the middle of the iPad. It used to take better advantage of the extra size of the iPad screen.
adds kept popping up
Video adds kept popping up in iPhone, not sure it’s due to latest ios vesion or latest phone configuration.

Canceled subscription, got charged anyway
I canceled my subscription and the next day got charged for it anyway. Customer service refused to refund with an automated copy-paste email, after that they ignored all communications.
Solid app
There is a considerable nuissance in trying to access and change payment details - otherwise a robust app.
Just keeps crashing
Good journalism let down by shoddy app. It crashes every 2 or 3 pages when viewing the magazine
Very buggy
Pretty much every week when I try and read the magazine on the iPad content doesn’t load and it just say “loading content” and nothing happens. Very irritating.
Useful app
This is an excellent app and a must read for anyone interested in investments.Gives a good overview of various stocks ,funds etc..
Don’t bother with the app
The app is not really useful in that some functions don’t work (e.gThe save article button). It’s also really annoyingly difficult to cancel your subscription. Just use the online if you have a subscription already.
Can't wait for the next copy!
Barron's is simply a must read publication for the serious individual investor.
Not working
Won’t load beyond splash screen for me
Good content recently marred
Barron's includes good content principally on the US bond and stock markets and investment recommendations mostly on US stocks, some by senior and experienced professionals in investment management. The presentation in the Apple app has recently been spoiled by some moving images in ads next to the articles which can be irritating. Other sources for Barron's can be found without this feature.
Great content
Good to have such reliable content from a trusted source. Easy navigation and portfolio monitoring.
Ads galore
It is impossible to read an article on the app because there are consent video ads popping up and covering the whole screen. The website is also heavily filled with ads.

Search function really bad
It’s a shame that something so simple for the users doesn’t work well. If you search for anything within the app, good luck with that. Saved articles doesn’t sync within your account either. If you go online, you lost your articles.
Not retina display ready
The app itself is great, in terms of content and navigation. However contrary to the wsj app it is not updated for retina displays on the new ipad (therefore only 3 stars). Fonds look really ugly, full of pixels, tiring to read. Hope the guys at dow jones fix this soon.

App stops updating news, need to reinstall
This is the second times I found that the App stops getting news feed and stay at news which was one or two days ago. The only way I found to resolve this problem is to delete the App and reinstall.

Excellent...
Great articles but way to expensive
Barron’s are probably in the top 5 content providers regarding investing, trading and overall financial markets. The app is ok although I do prefer to read the articles in Apple News+ as it is easier to keep track of everything instead of having one app for each service I am using. The main reason for the 2 stars is the price. This is not a £20/month service/app. And even if it was the app does not reflect that. For that amount way more features should be added to the app.
Auto playing full screen video adverts
Given the cost of this publication to subscribe this shouldn’t even be contemplated, I have no problem with adverts but when they automatically load, go full screen and play a video multiple times an article I’m considering unsubscribing.

I wish I didn't subscribed and paid. The app lacks what many other news apps have. Doesn't offer much in terms of efficient access (offline mode, scheduling, navigation). Don't fail for the introductory offers, it's not worth it and they don't refund
Please optimize for iphone X

I tried to sign up but when I try to submit the form it says "Cannot activate subscription due to server issues"
Bug on both iphone and ipad
Paid for this but just won't run. Wait till app launch bug is fixed.
Screen size not match for iPhone 6s Plus
Pls .... Pls make it optimized for iPhone 6s Plus !!!!! It runs okay on iPhone 5 , but any screen bigger than iPhone 5 running this Barron's app are terrible, especially the iPhone 6s Plus ...... Pls make this app optimized for iPhone 6s Plus!!!!
