Trop idéologique, trop peu rationnel / factuel
Le Monde est devenu trop idéologique et trop peu rationnel, notamment au sujet d’Israel et sur conflit israélo palestinien. Barthe et Filiu abordent Israël systématiquement à charge, sans nuance, en passant sous silence les responsabilités et dysfonctionnements palestiniens et en manquant de regard réellement critique sur le Hamas. Le Monde pourrait apporter des éclairage intéressants (comme le fait Arte par exemple). L’annulation de l’abonnement étant un parcours du combattant, je suis bien comptabilisé comme étant « non abonné », mais je suis toujours prélevé. Plutôt que de répondre aux appels du service client essayant de me faire revenir afin de leur dire qu’ils me prélèvent encore 36 euros par mois (l’abonnement a augmenté avec l’ancienneté, mais ça coute en fait 30 euros. Absurde), je préfère faire opposition à toute transaction venant du Monde et je vous dis Au-revoir, après 10 ans d’abonnement.

With so many newspapers being bought up by various billionaires with their own agenda that swaays their reporting, LeMondes views are a welcome addition to the short list of newspapers with relatively more objectivity. Bienvenue mes amis !
Non mais l’audio… vraiment ?!
Depuis une ou deux versions on a la possibilité de lecture audio des articles, avec ce p****n de bouton mal placé que l’on active sans arrêt sans faire exprès, et une voix atroce d’artificialité tente de nous lire alors l’article… je ne doute pas que ce soit utile à certains lecteurs, mais pitié enlevez du milieu ce bouton de malheur…! Conservez cette possibilité mais après avoir un minimum étudié l’ergonomie de l’application !
Blocage lors de la lecture sur un autre appareil du foyer
L’application est excellente, très bien conçue. Mon épouse et moi adorons lire le monde soit sur l’un de nos smartphones soit sur notre iPad. Mais ce qui est très frustrant c’est que, contrairement à la version papier que nous pouvons partager sans problème, l’application Lemonde impose la lecture sur un seul appareil alors que nous sommes sur le même réseau wifi avec la même adresse IP extérieure. Lire la version papier à deux n’est pas considéré comme une fraude mais lire la version numérique à deux l’est. Aucun des autres journaux auxquels nous sommes abonnés ne pose ce problème. Nous ne souhaitons pas payer deux abonnements pour notre foyer. Dommage

Bonne Appli de tracking
Désactiver les commentaires sur les articles traitant de la guerre Israël vs. Gaza, et ce sans explication ce n’est pas possible ! Demande d’acceptation des cookies en première ouverture : 170 « partenaires » pour le tracking et le profilage des utilisateurs ? C’est beaucoup trop, surtout lorsqu’on est abonné. Autre problème : Le Monde pousse un onglet « video » pour des minis reportages je crois. Problème : il faut aussi accepter de nouveaux cookies. Ça serait bien que l’on ait l’URL de la dite vidéo pour pouvoir faire nos choix sur d’autres plateformes. VanityFair le fait très bien. L’application ces dernières versions s’est bien améliorée avec une personnalisation plus fine de l’application et des catégories affichées notamment que l’on peut choisir. Il est possible de se faire lire les articles par des voix IA, il y a une présentation en épisodes de certains types d’articles vraiment captivante pour suivre certains sujets
I don’t trust American sources
I’m told France has laws about who can own media sources. In the USA they’re all owned by billionaires who have an agenda. I realize French news is going to mostly talk about France. Then secondly, it would talk about the rest of the world. Africans are as important as Americans. But I am biased and would like to learn more about what France has to say about the USA. My 3-stars means average.

Manque de pluralité de point de vues dans la perspective journalistique qui pourtant était la force de ce quotidien
Bonne appli, mais j’ai une suggestion
J’aime bien l’appli de Le Monde, mais il y a un truc qui me ne plaît pas complètement. L’appli envoit des notification très souvent, ce qu’est très bien, mais à mon avis il est nécessaire de metre « URGENT » avant des notifications des nouvelles urgentes. A ce moment il est difficile de différencer entre des nouvelles est des suggestion de lecture.
Barrière Europe
Est-ce possible d’avoir une section payante où il y a des nouvelle économique mondiale avec l’Amérique, Europe, l’Afrique, l’Asie. Un journal qui s’appelle le monde et qui se limite à Europe seulement… c’est triste et pas vraiment ironique….

Because I am currently based in the US And am used to having to sort through fake news and offensive adds , I am more impressed daily with the article I read here. I have a journalism background. Please continue and don’t sell out to anyone like many other company’s and countries do.

App doesn’t recognize me as a paid user
I’m not recognized on the app, only desktop site and even with that I have problems at times. Also I only have access to the English version, but when I subscribed it said I’d have the ability to switch languages. Sometimes it seems that I can read the French, at other times no. A d the articles are different - some in French are not available translated to English.
Peut faire mieux
Rien à redire sur le contenu, excellent, mais pour ce qui est de l’app: - article laissé ouvert rafraichi (donc disparait) automatiquement bcp trop vite - vaste majorité, croissante, du contenu réservée aux abonnés payants - plusieurs fonctionnalités contre-intuitives ou difficiles à identifier (du moins pour un utilisateur nord-américain…)

So…..this sad French socialist rag has mostly cut and past articles with a “socialist” twist to them. Then…..has the gaul to ask 9.99 euros a month to read all of their rag + articles. Haha I bet Napoleon is rolling over in his grave at this.

derniere example: 05/01/2023 nouveau 1er ministre elu au royaume unis. c'est a la une des journaux du monde entier, y compris l'edition papier de le monde. En revanche, ce n'est pas present dans le top 20 des articles a la Une dans l'appli. ce genre de choses arrivent tout les jours. des news incroyables sont loupés dans la une de l'appli chaque jour...

Subscription through Apple doesn’t work
Apple charged $250 for a Family subscription, but Le Monde app still doesn’t give access to that subscription. Called Le Monde in France; they say they can’t see anything since the subscription is managed by Apple. Apple doesn’t want to refund. I will stay away from subscribing through Apple in the future if I can avoid it. There is obviously a disconnect between the Apple payment platform and the app providers.

L’application n’a rien à redire, à part que les notifications sont beaucoup trop nombreuses et qu’il n’y a pas de choix pour éditer ce qu’on reçoit. Je veux y avoir accès, mais sans recevoir des notifications toutes les heures..........

Gourmand en données
1Go de données téléchargées le mois dernier sur mon forfait, ça fait beaucoup quand le principal intérêt du Monde c’est le texte. Les français ont peut être des données illimitées, mais c’est pas le cas du monde entier. Peut être qu’un petit mode sélectionnable des les préférences pour réduire la consommation des données vaudrait le coup (pas de préchargement systématiques des images et vidéos par exemple ? Sérieux même Facebook ne m’a pas pris autant de données...)

Problème d’abonnement
Problèmes dans le système, mon abonnement payé sous Apple souscription n’est pas reconnu par l’application LEMONDE et ne me donne pas accès aux services abonné pour lesquels j’ai payé. J’ai contacté le service abonné, pas de réponse.

Du journalisme sérieux et intelligent présenté sous une forme moderne et accessible. Quelques améliorations sur le plan de l’expérience client sont souhaitables.
Illogique
L’application ne nous permet pas de lire en même temps le journal, alors que nous sommes dans la même maison sous le même réseau. De plus, c’est celui qui ouvre l’application en second qui est prioritaire. Il suffit que mon épouse ouvre un article pour que l’appli se ferme sur mon iPad. Génial, non ?

Depuis ce matin, les réactions sont tous vides. Je pense qu’il y a un bug car avant il y avait des réactions sur la plupart des articles quelques heures après publication.

Parce que je veux être renseigné par des articles ou reportages rigoureux et objectifs, voilà pourquoi je consulte Le Monde.
Trop d’alertes inutiles
L’application est plutôt bien mais il n’y a pas moyen de gérer les alert pour ne recevoir que les info flash clés (comme le breaking news à la BBC), donc on a le choix entre recevoir une vingtaine d’alertes par jour pour des articles quelconques - ou alors éteindre les notifications (ce que j’ai fini par faire). Dommage car à force on rate des infos importantes.
Lecture impossible
Abonné depuis peu, je n’arrive toujours pas à recevoir le journal en entier. J’espère recevoir des infos pour être en mesure de lire Le Monde. Merci Djamel Benyekhlef Montréal
