Best EV charging app
Can pay at Chargepoint IONNA and Blink in the same app!
Finicky no Percentage
Another app that doesn’t show me my percentage or estimated time. Half the time the charge I start won’t even show in the app as well. We need a solid regulated standard for this stuff. There no receipts as well.
Recharge history and payments
I would like to see the credit card payments to refill my account within the app and also the history of the recharges done including station name and price paid. Aside from that great app, starting recharge at station works very well
Not good for my car
It’s not working properly
Finding stations great, paying+disconnecting is hit and miss
This app is fantastic for finding stations. But sometimes it loses track of your session if you use it to pay for your charge, and then you’re stuck connected until you call the network and wait on hold for them to override it. I was just told that locking and unlocking your car 3 times can serve as an override to disengage, so I will try that next time.
My point
Super useful, one of the best apps, thanks.
Higher cost and Circuit Electrique
Higher cost and doesn’t provide the accurate information.
Broken map
Map no workie! just the circle of death!
Im changing my rating
I have submitted the only class 3 charger on my home island multiple times. Its a Charge Point. Lots of other charge locater apps have it listed. But charge hub has never acted on my submissions. I contacted support snd they advised it was going to be reviewed first. Its been over a year. Which begs the question: how many other station are they missing?
No credits for adding new charging locations
I added a couple new charging locations with photos. There is no record in the app that I submitted these locations. I message chat and they said it will take 2-3 weeks. It is now 5 weeks. Why have a program that does not get updated?? Update: after 5 weeks I received the credits after uploading photos. App works good.
Didn’t work
Tried twice didn’t work. They refunded my credit but I didn’t realize there was a 4 dollar monthly subscription added. Charge Point much better app.
Needs Explanation
This app shows a lot of charging stations but sometimes it shows tesla but those are only for Teslas, not cars that use the Tesla adapter!
Unauthorized auto payment
The app works okay but one thing that I find complicated is that I have to pay the app to use chargers that have other free apps that I can use. And also I am not mad that they took the money but they authorized it without my consent and took the money from my card.
Map
Doesn’t always come on
Useless
Can’t even make an account. The app won’t create an account. Tried using the code way, didn’t get the code. Tried Applepay account and that showed as accepted but no account was created. Useless!
Good overview
It’s great to see where fast chargers are, especially in unfamiliar territory. It doesn’t show some of the least expensive fast chargers. I know that the chargers that ChargeHub doesn’t see are there, but granted, these are somewhat local chargers, being run by our electric utility.
It’s gotten less stable
It gets stuck on various screens, buttons don’t work etc. I used to like it but it’s getting worse to use.
The usual “works until you try to use any features” app experience
I tried to write a review of a bad experience I had with a charging station. Wrote the whole thing up, realized it had “lost” the checkmark next to negative experience flag. Tapped it again, and app erased a paragraph I had written. Look, if you are depending on crowd-provided info, you’d better make sure you treat your crowd members nicely.
Amazing customer service
Spoke to two different agents, Evelyn, and Johanne B. & have to say these two individuals were so professional, kind and very thorough. I had no problem whatsoever with my issue and they both gave me a solution instantaneously. Highly recommend this app if you have a EV car for charging.
BEWARE !!!
Be Warned- I recently used Chargehub but after a recent incident - never again. I had my vehicle charging at a little used charging area near my home. I got food poisoning and was unable to pick up my vehicle overnight. I returned at 6:30 am when i was strong enough to get there. Chargehub charged me $100 to have it there in the middle of the night. I asked for assistance in an email and got a no mercy response thst they could not help me rectify the situation and charged my credit card anyways. Stay Away from this company!!!
Helpful
This app is pretty good at finding charging stations but the trip planner doesn’t want to work for me. I got it to work one time. I deleted it and reinstalled it but still can’t get the planner to work.
Public Access
Hate it when you get there and find out it is restricted access What kind of stupid app can’t filter it?
Trip Mapping Does Not Work
As a new EV owner, I’ve tried several times to create a trip using the app and it does not work. I’ve reset/restarted my iphone multiple times and nothing, no trip plans can be made. I type the departure and destination location and nothing occurs. Not sure how to get it to work but I’m extremely frustrated at this point.
Doesn’t work
Doesn’t work worth a darn
Annoying Subscription reminders
The app repeatedly sends me notifications that I should subscribe for a monthly fee. I don’t need to, based on my charging and driving needs. There is no setting to turn off the subscription reminders.
Currency Conversion Fee
I mistakenly downloaded this rather than the app associated to the charging device due to the similarity in names. This app works but beware that your bank may charge you currency conversion fees for any money you spend with the app if you are in the United States.
Could use some more filters
As a new to EV user I would appreciate a better filter in searching. Need something like Fast chargers near me. The app shows lots of chargers but many are private at hotels etc so you can’t really access them or they don’t work with ChargeHub. That doesn’t help when I am looking to charge quickly.
Best app for finding chargers
For me this is best app hands down for finding chargers and charging at all kinds of places, all companies, etc. It is just so clear to read (yes iconography makes a difference!) and the community is strong and informative! Love it!
L’app bug constamment. Vraiment la dernière app que je recommanderais
Solid app but needs charger reviews
Good app but needs reviews of chargers by users.
Poor Quality
These are very slow chargers. You would think that would work for a tourist place right. Get out walk around for hours while it charges then be ready when it’s time to go. Nope. It was a waste of $40. Literally only got like 3% more charge. 😂 And the app is so poor quality. I wouldn’t use this one again. People that was there were trying to figure out what the app was called that went with them and then after downloading it was such a hassle. It was just poorly thought out.
Issues
App needs improvement, will be using the map at times and the list of chargers will disappear, despite closing the app and reloading it. Freezes when looking at details of the charger as well.
Super helpful!
This app is much more user-friendly than others I’ve tried. The map icons clearly show the types and availability of chargers, even ones that require a separate app to activate, and details show how recently the chargers were used successfully plus helpful info from other users. Love it.
Subscribes you to paid subscription in the sign up flow
While signing up to the app, standing in freezing cold and just wanting to charge at a highway Petro station, I kept clicking “Continue” in the lengthy process and ended up with a paid subscription and was immediately charged $3.29 for exactly no service whatsoever. Evil and misleading UX design. Also you have to go through all this and then close the app and open again in order for this to work at all. Very cumbersome and lengthy
Great Search & Filtering Stations
I would like to see Apple Pay as an option to add funds into the app. I’d rather not have to add my own credit card information into the app.
Confused…
This is the app that was advertised on the charger itself, but the app doesn’t even show the charger I used? I used a “Flo” curbside charger. The Flo website says this is the app to download. The app does know that the charger exists. Somehow I got a bill from Shell. I also have that app on my phone, and I may have had the app open when I found the Flo charger. So many EV charging apps…
Fiabilité
Exact et clair. Facile à utiliser
Challenging interface
I found ChargeHub difficult to use in real-world conditions. In locations with multiple chargers, it’s hard to clearly narrow down which charger to use, especially when they are underground. Most charging stations in my area are located underground with little to no cellphone reception. Because the app does not support Apple Wallet or NFC tap-to-pay, it becomes unusable when there’s no signal. The payment system is also frustrating. I only wanted to use my remaining balance for my last charge, but instead the app allowed my balance to go negative (-$1.75) rather than stopping at $0. To clear that small amount, I’m now required to add a minimum $10 top-up, which makes no sense if I don’t plan to use the app anymore. On top of that, there is an activation fee every time you plug in (around $0.68–$0.75 in my case), which adds up quickly and isn’t always clear upfront. Overall, between connectivity issues, unclear charger selection, forced top-ups, and repeated activation fees, this app wasn’t a good experience for me. I won’t be using it again.
FPL
None of the FPL partner chargers show up on the map. All filters are set properly. FPL chargers cannot be used by this app.
Great mapping app and tech support
Tried 5 apps looking for an app to create a map with preferred and optional charge stations. This one stood out as easy to use and different map view options. Had a question about using application and tech response came back in hours. Created 3 maps for different days of a long trip with ability to use embedded link to view charging stations and surrounding area and amenities near buy.
