Need Face ID for iOS
Great app, but when I stop to charge and open the app I always have to enter email and password. It would be nice to have Face ID enablement option so I can initiate my charging session faster.
Useless
SWTCH is not an electric charging company, it takes $20 from your bank account and laughs at you. It maybe works 4 out of 5 times. Definitely the worst out of a bad bunch of so called EV charging apps/devices.
Make interoperability happen pls
SWTCH is a better app than some I’ve tried. The chargers have been working great for me and I like the lots they are in. I like that drivers can use SWTCH in a browser and not have to download the app.
Pre-loaded wallets needs to go
This is the most stupid requirement of this app. To constantly keep a balance and when it drops below 5 to reload automatically what a scam. What if someone just needed to use it once. This doesn’t make sense just change it to pay per use or give an option to turn it off for guests or infrequent users.

Starting to fall in love with these guys that is right here in the apartment complex. Would normally go to super chargers which is a couple miles away. Great rates as well my charges have been a better deal here.

I have a charger that I can start by using this app or by tapping a plastic card. Using this app quite often means leaving the garage to find wifi, update the app, login…. Tapping the card is 10 times faster. Shouldn’t the app be a new better thing???

Login with Apple broken and sits stuck on the spinner upon being redirected back to the app.

You can only use Swtch chargers by paying $20 in advance and having your account automatically top up when it hits $5.
Works but bad
Had to recreate account with new app update. Uses declining balance, so it ate my previous $10 and wants to overcharge me by however much in $10 increments. Asked for completely unnecessary information to charge. Two stars because it actually works.
The problem with charging…

Nobody replies in this app. It’s been more than a year, chargers at CEDARBRAE MALL SCARBOROUGH are not working. And honestly this company don’t give damn about it.
Theoretically smart but charger do not work
I have been using Swtch for about six months now. It is theoretically a smart solution that allows you to charge outside the home. Unfortunately, my experience has been that 25-50% of their chargers do not work. I have had to call support 5-6 times already and most of the time they are unable to help. 50% of their chargers near my work do not work at all. It took them 3 months to fix
Annoying account system makes charging hard
The chargers generally work, but the lack of plug and charge makes charging challenging. You have to login and remember the password, fiddle with password reset etc... waiting for network. EV charging system should just work. Plug and go.
I rarely give it view, but I love this app
There’s so many charging apps nowadays in summer so hard to use but SWTCH is fantastic
I want to get my $20 refund ！
This is honestly the worst app I’ve ever used. I already turned off auto-renewal, but it’s still charging my card and I have no idea why. Every time I try to charge, it asks for a $100 deposit. If I decline, it says I have an outstanding balance—even though my wallet still shows $20. It makes zero sense. I don’t want to use this app anymore. How do I get a refund?
Expensive & Buggy
There are 6 Switch type 2 chargers across the street. Only 2 work. And they are the most expensive in town. $7 to fully charge vs. $1.38 for Vialink. This is why I have a hybrid. This country has no infrastructure for charging. Every gas station should have high speed chargers.

Great place to charge. Specially when on vacation and when I have time (it is not a fast charger) I which the add some fast chargers.
Rip you off
Charged at on if their stations, they charged me 15/hr for a delivery 5kwh. That’s insane plus 10/hr parking fee.
Bad choices at every step
Ideally electric charging is charged by the energy used, no loitering fee, no account needed and payment with card or Apple Pay. These guys chose the least customer friendly option at each step. Usage is charged by time, a loitering fee after your car is charged, an account is needed to use the chargers and you have to add funds to a wallet. Do better if you want better adoption.
Very convenient
I work in Westminster and live in Hanover pa. Working overnights and being able to stop here on my way home just for a couple hours to fully charge is amazing. And I’ve never had any issues especially since I created an account it’s only a couple dollars to fully charge it for the 2 hours!! I love it and will keep coming here on my way home from work when I need too!!

Easy To Use But Needs Apple Watch App
Really easy to use and get set up to start charging. Would be great if they made an Apple Watch version of the app which could also be used to find and activate chargers with for times when you don’t want to take out your phone or only have your cellular Apple Watch with you.
Illegal practice
New update is so predatory. It auto reloads $20 when your account balance drops below $5. And you cannot turn this off. SWTCH is banking people’s money unethically.
Subpar
1. I really need to add money in $10 increments? Come on. Do you really need the extra $3.50 in my wallet that bad? 2. App is obviously not super polished, hard to navigate and generally empty menus. Doesn’t feel native to me. 3. Weird charging connector experience. Worse than the rest for sure.

Find another charger
These are the most unreliable chargers you will find. They rarely work. Often they are placed in underground parking lots that have no signal so you won’t find out it doesn’t work until you’ve left and tried to activate it. After dozens of different Switch chargers have failed to work, I will never use them again and will be writing to ensure no public funding is used to install them.
