What they complain about
- Login fails and customer service is unreachable
- Requires pre-loading funds instead of using credit cards

love the new fast chargers
The new fast flo are so easy to operate, seem to be easy to find and charge quickly for a decent price! i like them way more than the tesla super chargers
Cap jourimain NB
Installation in a private parking, had to pay extra to access the parking , this is ridiculous,
Great use
Very useful to plan your ev trips, only downside is some stations are tricky to find.
Not as advertised / old tech
Does not show as available on ChargePoint app. even though it shows available on the Flo app, and confirmed physically is available. Flo requires prepayment in excess of need. Won’t accept credit card tapping for payment.
Half baked app
Give yourself plenty of time to set this app up since it is very cumbersome to initialize and sends you a lot of codes to your email which you have to find, cut and paste back into the app which loses the verification screen. If you need to create a support ticket, it does not recognize you even if you are logged in from the app and you need to jump through many hoops to try and finalize the ticket. Our car was not on the vehicle selector so we left the blank - thankfully we have adapters for all charger types but if you don’t, you’ll need to sort that out. Hopefully the developers can focus on UX in new versions.
Great charging app
It’s great and the live notifications are very helpful!
Can’t Login or Sign Up
I’ve had a Flo account for years and now I can’t sign in. I’m always receiving an “An unknown error happened.” I also can’t create a new account. Deleting and reinstalling the app doesn’t work. Customer service for the charger or app is also non-existent. I was on hold over an hour. The callback feature also doesn’t work. Until they resolve their issues, I’d avoid them entirely.
Expensive!
Electrical cost per kWh is way, way too high!!
Just correct 😌
It’s correct and fast
Com’on
Never remembers my login
HOOPS TO JUMP THROUGH
A struggle every time. I only like credit card chargers.
nice
Good service.. nice
Unable to login
Unable to unlock my home charger because your app wont let me log in. Resetted the password throught your website. Still not able to log in. When trying to reset password again now it shows another red message. Tried to contact you but you are closed. This is really bad. Ai bot is not good customer service. Now i can’t use my home charger.
Charger locations poorly marked
Chargers are often in completely different locations than what is indicated on the FLO map. We just spent 15 minutes driving around, trying to find a charger that was nowhere near where it was marked.
Almost perfect
The app works well and lets you easily start a charge. The only downside from truly making this app perfect is the ability your card to your card a simply pay for your charge sessions as you go. Reloadable “cards” seems so antiquated and old. ChargePoint lets me pay as I go and I would use that app exclusively if it didn’t take longer for that app to show the most recent status of Flo chargers.
Great service
Easy to use I am a happy customer gooservicehauseuseanhandy
Bad
Now can’t sign in, app just shut down and now it shows unknown error please try again later. It’s been later still doesn’t work.
Yawn
Charging is way too slow. My level two charger at home is way faster…
Pas assez de bornes de recharge pour satisfaire à la demande en augmentation
Merci
Easy to use
Simple and very intuitive. I it’s fast, simple and versatile.
Stop asking me for feedback
I’m tired of every app asking me to leave me a review. Just let me use the app in peace
Not enough fast chargers
As EVs become more prevalent throughout Canada EV chargers, other than Tesla Superchargers, aren’t providing a good experience for drivers. Why does Flo insist on having 50kW/hr be their top tier unit…this leaves drivers stuck for hours when they should only need to stop for a coffee/bathroom break. Flo needs to up their game 200kW/hr is a fair ask.
Please add my 2026 BZ
I have a 2026 Toyota BZ. It is different from the 2023-2025 models in that it has a NACS port. In your app, the most recent vehicle close to mine is the 2023/2024 Bz4x. They have a CCS port I think. please add my vehicle so I can find the appropriate charger or know the adaptor I need. All other apps but one and yours don’t have my vehicle and yours was updated last two weeks ago. My vehicle was released in January.
Best experience
The app is easy to use. In few steps you start charging your vehicle and what makes it even better for me is that they have multiple stations in my community. They also have an excellent and fast customer service. I had few issues with some authorizations and in less than 24 hrs they sorted it out.
A ameliorer
Les bornes sont souvent defectueuses. Bcp de frictions dans le processus.
Not going to use this.
I don’t want another card to have to carry around. It’s not the 1900s anymore. I definitely will never “add a balance” to any company’s platform anymore. That era is dead to me. It’s completely unnecessary. I want technologically advanced solution that works with today’s phones. Apple Wallet NFC ID you want to have your own card. Apple Pay for what my charge was. No declining balances, EVER!
Chargers not detecting app
If I have my car plugged into a FLO charger, and tap my phone to the display, my iPhone wallet appears and prompts me to pay via Visa. If I go to the FLO app and search the unique ID of the charger, the lookup is also searching addresses and giving me locations in Alabama. It’s not seamless. If i load my FLO app, with an active charge, the charge status is not the default page.
Carte Wallet
Bonjour je n’ai pas trouvé comment ajouter la carte dans le Wallet du téléphone
It’s like it’s the year 2006.
Federated identities exist. Use them. Making me create another user account and yet another hackable password is an obsolete step. The very fact that I need to even use an app to charge my car is beyond the pale but EV users seem to have low expectations.
You’re charging easier
Every time I go to the same charger, I have to go through the whole address bar and work my way through until I can start charging it would be much easier if you had recent charges so when I recently charge then next time I come there, I just tap it and I’m ready to go
App functions ok
Overall this app does what it should, however it can’t locate a charger that I’m right next to, and I can’t default favorites on. Fix these two things and it would be 5 stars for me
Highgate charger
Convenience but more juice for the charger
App sucks
We hate apps
Great premise fails on execution
As a first time electric vehicle owner I really like the way this app displays your charge information and notifies you of chargers that are available in the area. However depending on certain areas it’s HORRIBLE trying to connect it to charge point chargers. Some days it’ll connect to charge point so I can use the funds already on the app. Other day I find myself having to just use charge point as the network won’t even connect to the chargers. Long story short unless you’re using the app with an actual FLO charger you’re basically 50/50 on getting it to work with CHARGE POINT chargers.
Burr
Just over a month ago, I made the plunge to buy an electric car. The infrastructure for charging cars here in Southeast Washington are not the best. They're here but again, not the best. The phone charger here at REA. are really easy to get to and use her friendly. I suggest that you have the app or get the app before coming out here to use it. They have a fast charger with the SHADEMO and also the combo COMBO they also have two slow chargers oh, if I didn't state this earlier, I have a 2015 Nissan leaf S
Very easy to use
Third time using the app today and it could be one of the easiest to use apps on my phone. Starts right away very easy to connect and load funds. Very convenient, well done
I can’t believe how bad this app is.
I was unable to charge my car.
EV Charging Made Hard
If you’re looking for unclear user flows and an unintuitive app, choose FLO! I’ve driven EV’s for six years now, and can say with confidence that FLO has the worst user experience. - The app lacks sophistication. Simple features like autofill for passwords and 2FA are not available on Apple devices. - It requires a pre-loaded account, rather than pay as you go. It’s 2025. Allow for pay as you go. - The stations require either a physical card issued by FLO or authentication through the app to start. Once again, it’s 2025. Allow for tap to pay at stations.
