Safe and sound
I have tried the trial period and received information that my ssn may be in use by someone that has a similar name. It’s not my last name but very close to my mom’s. I called the number given to talk to an agent. All in all I am getting initiated and the agent informed me about everything going on with my identity and everything important to me. The app is exactly as it ought to be. The protection and abundance of information you get back is impressive. The turn around to get an answer re: my claim is 24 to 48 hours. Not bad. They take care of everything. And advised me how to report this to the credit bureaus. Overall, this app is easy to navigate and if you’re looking for protection and security for your phone try this one out. ✌🏻
Not Pleased
Not Impressed At All. I feel as though my heart no had been scanned and monitored for NOTHING. I only gave a star cuz I was forced to.
Good but could be better
Good app but could be better. Works like it kind of should but price went up 10$ for one year!!?? No direct support, Kinda sucks: Also complained that the VPN is off but quickly turns on when you go into settings. Is there something out there that really works for the money we spend??!! Let me know!
Lookout Life is not as good as the previous version.

Mostly great, but …
F-Secure alerts me when it finds a website attempting to phish. That is great. But it would be even greater if it would show what the website was, so I would know to stay away from it. F-Secure knows what it was. Why can’t it tell me? Or at least tell me the time it detected it?

I just got a new iPhone. I purchased a premium service in February of this year. $99.99 plus tax. When I open the Mobile Security app (with a shield icon), it shows my account as a basic account. I’ve called your customer service number and was put on hold for 30 minutes. I tried chatting with no answer. The chatting agent suggested I go to another place for help but the link he provided is not a secure website so my browser wouldn’t open the page. There’s got to be a better way to resolve my issue.

this used to be a good security app but it is just awful. ive been trying to figure out how to get in contact with customer service but it always brings me to their preloaded questions. im leaving my issue here bc at one point i thought i finally found a way to contact them bc it brought me to send an emIl but didnt have an address to send it to. so here is my issue: i have paid for premium the last two years yet on this app it is saying i do not have premium and in the web browser it is saying i havent paid since 2024. im frustrated and want a full refund for 2025, and for 2026 i just want premium to be fixed on my account or a full refund. in the past i felt secure know this app was in the background protecting, but come to find out it isnt?!
Great App
I have used this app since it was called Lookout, Then it was purchased and renamed. The functionality has remained the same. The only thing that I’m uncomfortable with is signing in this app there is no two-step authentication.
Features that don't work
Location features don't work and there seems to be a discoordination between Lookout and F-Secure where as I have an account on Lookout's site (where locate device doesn't work, features & fuctionality of the Lookout site appear to have been downgraded) and F-Secure's website doesn't have my account info and doesn't even recognize my email address. The two companies merged quite a while ago and you'de think they would have addressed these issues by now.

Additional services have been removed, and less service unless you pay. Had this app for a few years, and now less things they’ll cover.

I’m not planning on using this app forever I just need it for right now because I can barely use my phone I can barely put my pass code or use YouTube so the conditions of my phone is it’s an old phone it’s at its max iOS 12.5 the battery heats up a lot I have one app that uses my battery 73% because I use that one the most or other reasons like it could be hacking me I don’t know and there’s this other app that uses 3.94 GB storage and I never even turn the app on I don’t know if I’m being hacked or if it’s just that my battery is heating up so much that’s messing up my phone because my battery gets really hot and sometimes my phone just stopped working so I have to turn off my phone and turn it back on sign back in and then it works like the touchscreen stopped working so I have to turn it back on turn it turn it off and on I know this might be a little long but

Every time I I’d scan the same Neiman Marcus email data issue comes up. It’s been years since that was discovered and I have since deleted NM. Do you clean up your data? How do I get the NM off the I’d scan?

Slow customer service
On the Security tab on my iPad it looks like it’s continually trying to load, whereas on my iPhone it says it’s active. Emailed support who suggested deleting the app & reload it, which I did without success. They were escalating it to their Advanced Support Team, this was six days ago, haven’t heard anything from them.

Something rotten in Denmark…
I’ve had the app on my phone for years and opened it today after much time. I see a four month free promotion for their “total plan” and sign up for it through my account link. I provide my info and it asks me to create an account. I click on “login” and suddenly, my phone no longer remembers the password. I close and reopen the app and I’m still logged in on the app but to the basic plan and doesn’t upgrade. I go back to the website, click on “forgot my password”and I’m still waiting after my third attempt. They have my credit card number so I decide I’m going to cancel. Guess what…yeah, it’s like that. Now I will likely have to endure, what I’m sure will be a lengthy time consuming process to get rid of this thing and implement safeguards so they don’t charge me. If it sounds too good to be true…better the devil you know, I guess. TO THE DEVELOPER; please don’t contact me telling me how sorry you are that I’m having these issues or going through this difficult experience, and to just contact your support team and they’ll be more than happy to guide me through it, because I did, three times, THREE times, and I’m still waiting. These are simple issues that shouldn’t be issues, because it’s a Mobile Security app and you should know better. You should know better!

Update has destroyed my faith
I’ve been using lookout for years now and totally loved it and what it could do for me. They did an update to their systems a little while back now and it’s totally destroyed my faith. VPN never seems to kick in, when I try to load the app it crashes all the time and doesn’t load. Then when it does I can’t do anything. Real shame as I used to love the app. When I get time I’ll be looking for a different t platform to pay my money too. Real shame

Can’t cancel subscription
I want to cancel subscription and it is just circles thru the same response. Ask question, told to cancel on app. Doesn’t cancel on app told to go back to original app. Go to original app, cancel subscription and then back to original app There isn’t any customer support at all.

No face id
I don’t understand how a app for security does no face ID in the first place you guys should have that and there should be no passcode if you’re getting your phone so and then you wouldn’t get your phone still I had my phone stolen 14 times in the last 10 August 11 the this year and they keep on breaking into my face ID and get my passcode because there’s hitting cameras in my house anyways I like some free app privileges please because I can’t afford to put it on all my phones ever play so many phones month California and another app will leave your feedback
Not enough Canadian options
Purchased the premium mainly to detect any breaches on certain accounts/sites, but the options are mainly American. Not many options offered for protection for Canadian accounts/services I.e, financial institutions, government services. Overall decent app, but if you're in Canada the premium is money wasted.

I get a notification when I on a malicious website and they’re trying to access my information. I like that it scan your email for suspicious threats like hackers but it not always accurate
