Easy peasy
It’s one of the most easiest apps to use, I e never had an issue with it. I’m not a fan of the new updates one and will hold steady using this until I can’t
Worst banking app ever
Today this App got me stuck in a carpark for over and hour because it didn’t work and couldn’t log in to see what was happening with accounts. This is NOT the first time things like this have happened. The old App was great -this one is rubbish. Why on earth have ING moved from a fabulous uncluttered, welcoming feel app to - THIS monstrosity. It’s sterile look and feel, too much clutter and too much white. It’s not minimalist, it’s is sterile and counter intuitive. Just Awful. Even giving it one star is a stretch.

App counts your monthly interest payment in your end of month balance even though you earn it on the next day.

Needs more features
As a basic banking app that does what’s expected, it’s fine. I would like to see more features added though. How about notifications based on account activity? For me I would like to set up shortcut functions that allow me to transfer money between accounts in one press. I’m always transferring to my kids’ accounts, it would be good to have shortcuts for these repeated actions too.
DONT DELETE THIS PLEASE
Dont delete this app, its so much better than the new one. And if you do have to delete it than at least copy all the features into the new one. Using the new app would make me seriously consider switching banks

Can you include $500 as a payment limit please!! 1k as the limit is too much of a risk lol fmd

Be able settle Orange Credit Card monthly outstanding or minimum balance easily from with the app.
Access from iPhone
Is something wrong with with this application. Yesterday I couldn’t access my account. Later in the afternoon apps was working. Today again isn’t working all day. It is bad that ING can’t fix it permanently.🤔
Needs an update
ING needs to look at what the other bank apps are doing and roll out some comprehensive changes. The app was fine for years but newer banks like UBank have apps that leave ING looking very long in the tooth.
Actually good
Unlike the *other* new app they are trying to force us to use, this one actually works and is actually good! And for an online bank to have a bad app - it’s almost enough to consider switching banks! They should stick with this app!
Updated app sucks
The new app is terrible. Glitchy, bugs out when trying to set up billers. Very frustrating, I’ve never had an issue with a banking app til now.
Mobile app down?
Haven’t been able to log in on phone for two days now. Message says you’re working on it… website it browser works…. What gives? Also it scars me that the login password is a 4 digit number. What the f?
Don’t delete this app when you download the new one
The new app is barely functional with a lot of irritations. You will still need this old app. Best suggestion, find another bank. Yes, switching banks is painfully laborious, but you’ll thank yourself after you’ve tried to use the new app.
Keep this app
I’ll be leaving ING if they discontinue this app and force users to move to the dysfunctional new one.
Gone backwards
Terrible. Looks new and shiny but no multiple profiles etc
Font too small
The functionality of the app itself is fine, but the font on the transactions page is about 7 point. (I have a regular size iPhone. Perhaps it’s better on a max?) And some information (like the dates) is shaded making it even harder to see. I have reasonable eyesight and I struggle to read the transaction info. Not sure how people with poorer sight would manage. There doesn’t seem to be any built-in accessibility features either.
Good banking app but…..
During the payment confirmation page why is the text confirming the payment details so small? It’s important to check the details for security purposes but very difficult with long numbers in tiny font.
Payment
It doesn’t show your repayment amount unless if have a direct debit set up. With all the interest rate changes that would be helpful as it’s also not listed on any emails, bank statements or otherwise. Just simply put the interest and principle as a payment that’s what customers want to be aware of with interest rate changes.
Keeps asking to register every time
This app no longer remembers me and I have to keep re-registering every time I want to login. It’s incredibly buggy and seems to redirect to a web page instead of staying within the app, or maybe that’s the new interface. It used to function fine and now it’s basically unusable. Zero stars.
Bring back the old app!
The old app was so much easier to use. Difficult to do all things I used to do with ease on this new app. Currently researching a new bank with a better app.
You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone
This app was fantastic! You only needed to add notifications to this one, not create a whole new app with none of the good features remaining. I’m using this one until it stops :(
Feedback Option in App Not Working
Speaks volumes when the feedback doesn’t work. I hate that I can no longer see my nicknames for my accounts in transfers. You gone backwards in your functions. Preferred the previous app.
Leaving ING over no Garmin Pay
The app itself is fine and generally easy to use. I recently moved my banking to ING and was initially happy with the switch, but I’m now seriously considering changing to a different bank. Discovering that ING Australia doesn't support Garmin Pay—and that there is no option to use my watch to pay—is a massive problem. It feels like a huge failure that lets down a significant proportion of active customers who rely on their smartwatches daily. I really hope ING fixes this gap soon, or I'll have to take my banking elsewhere.

"I really dislike the new UI update. Hiding the post-transaction account balance creates a terrible user experience. Users need to verify their remaining balance right after sending or receiving money. Please add an option to toggle this on/off."
Terrible
It consistently doesn’t work - it now hasn’t worked for me for about two weeks in a row. It says ‘we’re working on it’ and ‘come back later’, yet nothing has been worked on and I repeatedly can’t come back later.

No access
App not working over a week now
Can’t transfer cents!
They updated the app and then made it impossible to transfer cents. So now I permanently have an amount in cents that I cannot transfer out of my account. Do better!
Does not work for iOS 26.6
Everything was fine until the new update. Now the app is completely useless. It keeps generating an error message: SORRY Something isn’t working as it is should, but we’re on it… It’s been weeks since they’ve been onto it. Disappointing.
Not working
I just went in to the app now it won’t work, it says something went wrong. Won’t accept my details and now not showing as the app. I’m already at the point of finding a new bank.
Arghhh
THIS IS THE SLOWEST APP! On the spot trying to quickly transfer money which was super fast takes forever to load, forever to get into. Sort it out.
Improvements
For the new App - Please add the cumulative balance value month by month - that’s v.helpful. Please also add home loans to the new app. Until thats added you will move from 2 star rating to 4 star. Thats a good jump for easy changes
