The content is great but the absolutely non-stop commercials kill the experience. I find I go to podcasts more and skip the torture.

Live stream not working
The new app with subscription option is annoying as there are call to action links littered throughout the app and the live stream doesn’t work at all via my Optimum TV service and internet service provider. I enter my account information and it seems to accept it, but it doesn’t work. Otherwise I used to enjoy this app and MS Now but I don’t care for the app changes.

Fix MSNOW so I am actually watching live news not scrambling to find cuts from the show. When you show the word “Live” I expect live tv. The time posted on the screen is not live time. I am very disappointed & I regret switching to this from cable.
I removed the app
It used to be a news app where I could read articles. Now I don’t understand what they plan is. it’s 🤷🏽♀️. I’m very disappointed. I already pay for MSNow because I still have cable. It makes no sense to pay again to have an alternate access to MSNOW.
Bugs or sabotage.
I’d rate this app a 4.5, but it closes abruptly when I try to watch some videos. No error message: the app just closes. If I open it again, it does the same thing. It doesn’t do it on every video, just the ones that seem particularly relevant.

This new app lacks any sort of customization settings, such as filters to sort articles or dark mode.

What’s the point? Users are unable to adjust the font size. Article are unreliable.

It’s maddening. On Apple TV and iPad, you can’t log in with your cable provider - you either get a generic message or a completely blank screen
You have changed
After many years of using cable log in or free audio, you have changed. I got rid of cable but still enjoyed your free live audio. But it is free no more. $9 for something g that was used for me on 9/11, when Obama won, but now I will remove the app and use CNN free audio. Goodbye old friend.
No live shows!
I recently dropped my streaming service, so msnbc went away. I thought that would be ok, because I new this app existed. So, I downloaded it and all I can find is snippets of shows! I can’t watch a full show the day after it was live, I can watch a half hour of an hour long show the next day, but then it switches to a different show! Not even close to what I thought it would be!

I am so disappointed that it takes so long to get a he on demand shows and that you can’t start from beginning when watching a show live at 5 past the hour. And then you have to wait 24 hours or more to see that first five minutes.

Missing a search feature
There is no search bar that allows me to look up the latest news on a particular topic. This seams like one of the most basic features to have. I don’t want to just scroll in hopes of finding what I’m looking for.
Live Audio - NOT
First, the new app design isn’t easy to use. I try to use Live audio (there used to be an icon for this in the old app, easy to find), now it wants me to either purchase a membership (not sure who would pay this much), or sign in with my TV provider. I click on Xfinity and I get a black screen. Didn’t you this this app?
Multiple audio tracks
App was good when hit first released but recently when you try to watch a video you get 2 or 3 audio tracks playing at once. Make listening to the anchors practically impossible. I’ve had to turn to the CNN app just to keep updated.

Why can’t MS NOW show there live broadcasts on there app like NBC news does instead of going thru a subscription TV NBC News have a live take every time you watch NBC News
Why?
It worked just fine before the recent update . Yes it’s has a slick new look.. but I used the app for the articles not how slick it look. Plus you want my email now. Utilize until I find a real news app.
App volume is too low!
I love the content but the volume on live streaming of the tv channel is set way too low. I have to put my Ipad volume all the way to maximum in order to hear the app at a reasonable volume. They need to fix this. It’s a problem.
Why Buy A Membership ?
Until there is direct to consumer I am not interested. After that, I will give it a try. We have been using CNN direct to consumer but not impressed. We prefer commentators on MS Now and find the ad load on CNN annoying. We also have Apple News which we will drop as the ad load has become ridiculous on articles. The internet is almost unusable because of this. We are turning to podcasts that have less echo chamber news and offer no ads subscriptions.
Apple TV
Works fine on iPad and iPhone. Periodically need to delete and reinstall then works fine until next Appletv update
