You people took that video and edited it to make it seem like it was bad thing. When you see the actual unedited video pal those people were smiling and clapping. Stop reporting lies!!!!!

Great for US news
I watch ABC for US news but for international news I need to go elsewhere. I understand the focus needs to be on the US, but couldn’t you have a news show dedicated to international news? When I watch BBC, France 24, DW, etc. I see important stories about world events that are not reported in ABC’s news.
It’s been rough
I’m writing this as I delete the app. I’ve grown tired of the auto-playing videos. More frequently they have started autoplaying in the background after the app has been closed. Miss me with that. See you never.
Review of ABC app
The default to videos with sound makes it impossible to check news in certain situations.?? Constsnt updates leaves me looking elsewhere. Sick of your updates. What can be done to end the endless updates? So sick of updates!! Your updates are going to end this for me. You are wearing me out! Updates and updates! Take a break Sick if your updates. I predict your constant updates will come at a price. You have it all wrong. You snd your updates are the worst app out there.

Why do you allow Franklin Graham advertising time on World News Tonight? He’s basically spewing religious propaganda designed to appease Trump and enrich himself. It does discredit to ABC News, known for its fair and accurate coverage.

I absolutely hate the new format. I watch on Roku TV and I can’t stand the fact that it’s so busy and it’s hard to watch. The old format was much better.

It loads very slowly. It’s easy to lose patience waiting for it to load, even with WiFi. SMH.

The three colors used on each news display makes reading the title difficult. Maybe you would consider making the information in red in a smaller font.
Too Many Pages
I loved the ABC app until it was made cumbersome. After a page of news I click “Continue” to read on. Doing this multiple times, then closing an article, rather than being taken back to where is was scanning articles I’m returned to the beginning of the home page. It takes minutes to get back to where I left off. If a reminder pops up on my Phone, back to the Home Page, if my phone goes to sleep, back to the home page. When I finish an article I’d like to return to the page I last read
Good, but could be improved.
The largest turn off is a lack of a dark mode option. While readable, having that would make the app all the better for those who find it more difficult to read against a light background. Adding a broader selection of subject content to browse from (food, travel, more specific news content) is a lesser issue but would make the app more appealing overall.
My faith in ABC News has been restored
Thank you, Disney thank you ABC for standing up for the first amendment! The first thing a tyrant will do is try to stop the press and you wouldn’t accept that. That’s excellent. That’s what I expect in a news organization.

After the last update, app shuts down before getting all the news stories. Very biased reporting. You should report all the news without slanting it to fit your opinions. And cover ALL the stories even if it’s about your parent company and programming.

What makes this app super standard is the live news and live streaming. This app technically delivers a good in-depth analysis and comprehensive documentary. Could do better and it could earn 5 stars ⭐️
Okay app but … this review is for AppleTV
When running this on AppleTV if you bring it up after a reboot it works great, maybe after you turn it on a day later. But at some time it just shows a blank screen but you can hear the audio. The solution ids you have to reboot AppleTV.
OK, but
This is a good news app, but I was just reading a long article, background wd the app for a minute or so, went back to it, and it had closed the article and returned to the main menu. That’s not good. Also, not the fault of the app directly, but most of the articles are too long. It’s like they have been filled out to reach a word count target? A tldr edit at the top of longer articles would be very welcome.

If you send everyone a mail in ballot without requesting it you are inviting fraud. That is a big difference from someone goingYou are supposed to be the press and keep both sides in check you only keep one side in check your story is a false narrative
Perfect except for one thing
Ads before the live stream. “Captain Obvious” is making me nuts. On my Windows 10 I don’t have this annoyance.

Great News App!
Thank you tremendously for redesigning your dependable news app & including dark mode for better readability! Is there an option to enable notifications in Settings?? Don't see this option as compared to other ABC news apps (ex: NY or LA). Would really love an option for medium or large home screen news widgets in the future. (For those who want a quick look at latest headlines).
ABC Livestream Update
I loved ABC Streaming. I stayed in the know which is terribly important nowadays. Now it sucks! Update is non-functional. Frustrating. I’m shocked this was the result of the update.

I do think there should be an ABC main channel app as well as ABC News. This should also be available in the UK.
Random background audio bug
The app is great, and I prefer ABC because it’s as close to political as possible for a major US network. But this app randomly starts playing audio, even when it hasn’t been opened. The only way to turn it off is to open the app and close/kill it. It’s super annoying and can cause massive data overages if I don’t catch it. Please fix this bug!

I’ve never hated an app so much yet loved it at the same time. There is a Disney ad EVERY time a news segment finishes. 1 minute news segment, 30 second ad, and it’s ALWAYS Ethos or The Rookie. I won’t even watch that show out of pure annoyance.

After the latest update I lost the weather option in the bottom. It was easier to see the daily and weekly weather but not anymore. Boooo

Problem related the notification for unread personalized articles
I have a problem of a notification for the number of unread articles that are in "personalized alerts". The notification appears on the right diagonal of the icon of this app. I've saved my favorite articles to "the saved items ". After that, the action influences the system called "personalized alerts" and some related articles and saved articles are also saved to the alert box so that I'm kept from missing related stories. But no matter how many times I read certain articles that are in the alert box, the number of the notification can't be changed. I saved four articles that were released on different days on the same day and they were also put to "personalized alerts box". Although I've already opened and read those articles, the notification has been still "4". So how should I do to solve the problem?

Poor experience
Very difficult to refresh the content, wherever on wifi or 4G. Even completely closing the app and restarting doesn't help. Check out the BBC or other news sites that handle constant editorial content uploads as they do it much better. Good design though, just frustrating I can never get updated stories.
